Indians - 4AD Session
Indians debut album, Somewhere Else, is released through 4AD on 28th/29th January 2013
__
Indians, the musical alter ego of Copenhagen resident Søren Løkke Juul, have signed to 4AD worldwide. While Indians only played their first concert in their hometown in February 2012 and self-released their debut single in April, they've already garnered enough attention to perform shows across Europe and in North America, playing shows with the likes of Beirut, Bear In Heaven, Lower Dens, Weird Dreams and Retribution Gospel Choir over this Summer.
On the back of this early momentum, Indians today mark their signing to 4AD with their installment in the 4AD Session series. Filmed over the course of one day on Osea Island -- a little-known, privately owned island in the estuary of the Blackwater in Essex -- the starting point for the performance was embracing the challenge of playing, recording and filming outside, placing the music into a vast open space, under sky and near water.
With the intention to capture the sense of air and atmosphere in the music, each track was recorded in a different location, moving the band and cameras in order to introduce a new element that reflected the change in song. This was further complimented by the shift in light: the session begins with 'I Am Haunted' filmed just after high tide in the early afternoon, is then followed 'Magic Kids' just as the sun had set, and ends with 'New' filmed after dark in the small hours of the morning. While still flecked with the surreal ambience of Søren's air-tight compositions, the full-band performance adds a foreboding sense of wonder that provides a fitting introduction into Indians' very own natural world.
Tracklisting
1. I Am Haunted
2. Magic Kids
3. New

Two Indians Talking
Two Indians Talking is a comedic drama about the conflicting opinions of two First Nations men as they prepare to set up a roadblock. Each man wants fiercely to do the right thing, but struggles with the question, "When you do something for the right reasons, does that make it the right thing to do?"
ADAM (Justin Rain) is a university-educated Native of the Seventh Generation, raised to believe that knowledge is the Indian's best tool for survival. NATHAN (Nathaniel Arcand) is a high school dropout whose dreams have been consistently crushed in his endurance of the past 20 years.
On the eve of their nation's roadblock, the cousins prepare for the impending battle in an empty community center that they paint with heartfelt conversation and humorous debate about life, culture, identity, women, literature, dreams, politics, education, poverty, and about hope for the future — if any.

The Indian Wars
The year 1540 was a crucial turning point in American history. The Great Indian Wars were incited by Francisco Vazquez de Coronado when his expedition to the Great Plains launched the inevitable 350-year struggle between the white man and the American Indians. From that point forward, the series of battles between the military and civilian forces of the United States and the Native American Indians began when blood was shed and ultimately tens of thousands of lives were lost on both sides.

American Holocaust of Native American Indians (FULL Documentary)
The powerful and hard-hitting documentary, American Holocaust, is quite possibly the only film that reveals the link between the Nazi holocaust, which claimed at least 6 million Jews, and the American Holocaust which claimed, according to conservative estimates, 19 million Indigenous People.
It is seldom noted anywhere in fact, be it in textbooks or on the internet, that Hitler studied Americas Indian policy, and used it as a model for what he termed the final solution.
He wasnt the only one either. Its not explicitly mentioned in the film, but its well known that members of the National Party government in South Africa studied the American approach before they introduced the system of racial apartheid, which lasted from 1948 to 1994. Other fascist regimes, for instance, in South and Central America, studied the same policy.
Noted even less frequently, Canadas Aboriginal policy was also closely examined for its psychological properties. America always took the more wide-open approach, for example, by decimating the Buffalo to get rid of a primary food source, by introducing pox blankets, and by giving $1 rewards to settlers in return for scalps of Indigenous Men, women, and children, among many, many other horrendous acts. Canada, on the other hand, was more bureaucratic about it. They used what I like to call the gentlemans touch, because instead of extinguishment, Canada sought to remove the Indian from the Man and the Women and the Child, through a long-term, and very specific program of internal breakdown and replacement call it assimilation. America had its own assimilation program, but Canada was far more technical about it.
Perhaps these points would have been more closely examined in American Holocaust if the film had been completed. The films director, Joanelle Romero, says shes been turned down from all sources of funding since she began putting it together in 1995.
Perhaps its just not good business to invest in something that tells so much truth? In any event, Romero produced a shortened, 29-minute version of the film in 2001, with the hope of encouraging new funders so she could complete American Holocaust. Eight years on, Romero is still looking for funds.
American Holocaust may never become the 90-minute documentary Romero hoped to create, to help expose the most substantial act of genocide that the world has ever seen one that continues even as you read these words.

Yesterday I was crying
as nobody saw me
I cried lonely
and I felt pain when I was
remembering my poor mother
Where is my heart?
where are my eyes?
They are already sad with me
Don't cry with me
my eyes cry
my heart suffers when I'm
remembering my parents

Are Indians Asian? Are Filipinos Asians or Pacific Islanders? (Russell Peters types of Asians)
Watch as Russell Peters explains the different type of Asians that exist in a comedic manner. This video is in response to some of the Filipino-Americans who are offended when people call them Asian. The point of the video is to explain the diversity among the people of Asia.
But actually, Indians are Asian. Here's proof:

Why Indians Are Superior
20 points you need to know why Indians are superior.
India becoming the next superpower is inevitable, look at all hospitals, IT sectors, airports, and university campus, we are everywhere lol!
Indians are the most intelligent race on the planet, we are the true Aryans.
In next 20 years, your boss is likely to be an Indian, Indians will have all the high paying jobs, which make all European girls dumping their European men and embrace the Indian bachelors.
Indians are the most noble race in this world.

Apache Indian Resistance - Geronimo
A short explanation of the Apache Native American Indian resistance that happened in the Southwestern United States around the 1860s. There was an active slave trade in the south west that most people are unaware of. The western states were very important in the Civil War for the North. Gold from California and Silver from Nevada helped finance the war against the South. The Indians were in the path of the expanding valuable mineral hunt and settlement. One tribe that fought this expansion were the Apaches. First the Mescalero and then the Chiricahua. The Apache bands were led by Cochise, Victorio, the Chiricahua band was led by famous Geronimo. Geronimo led the most famous Native American resistance and it cost the U.S. government over $40 Million dollars to kill 100 Indians. Geronimo was caught and forced to live in the Southeast where many of the Apaches died. Geronimo died as a captive in 1909 in Oklahoma, far from his mountain home. The speakers are Bob Haozous, a Chiricahua artist and Grace McNeley a Navajo cultural leader.

Earth
Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions
28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October,
2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
All credit goes to them.
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.
