Cuba Travel, Cayo Coco Cuba, Meliá Cayo Coco, 2010 Video
Go to www.codecuba.com to see more Cuba Travel Videos. This high definition Cayo Coco travel video was shot in Cuba in 2010. The video features images of Cayo Coco all inclusive beach resorts, as well as footage from Cayo Guillermo, and Playa Pilar. The video begins on the causeway that links Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo to the mainland. This chain of islands also includes Cayo Romano and is known collectively as the Jardines del Rey which means Kings Gardens. Mostly wild, these islands are composed of mangrove swamps and scrubland but are also host to a dozen all inclusive resorts, complete with sandy beaches and shallow water making it a good destination for families with children. The Meliá Cayo Coco hotel, a luxury all inclusive resort features prominently in this video. Both interior and exterior shots are included, highlighting the beach, swimming pool and grounds. The gorgeous Cuban models we met here were friendly and helpful. After seeing Cayo Coco we decided to check out Cayo Guillermo. We found that the beach resorts are mostly laid out in a similar fashion with a pool area, bar and restaurants, surrounded by various styles of accommodation. Another thing these resorts share in common is they are all set on beautiful white sand beaches. The video ends with a visit to Playa Pilar that is said to be one of the best beaches in Cuba and you can see why. Backed by sand dunes, this unspoiled beach is named after Hemingways boat. There is a bar and restaurant near the ...

The Hudson River School (The Gathering - Travel)
The Hudson River School was a mid-19th century American art movement by a group of landscape painters, whose aesthetic vision was influenced by romanticism. Their paintings depict the Hudson River Valley and the surrounding area, as well as the Catskill Mountains, Adirondack Mountains, and White Mountains of New Hampshire. "School", in this sense, refers to a group of people whose outlook, inspiration, output, or style demonstrates a common thread, rather than a learning institution. Hudson River School paintings reflect three themes of America in the 19th century: discovery, exploration, and settlement. The paintings also depict the American landscape as a pastoral setting, where human beings and nature coexist peacefully. Hudson River School landscapes are characterized by their realistic, detailed, and sometimes idealized portrayal of nature along with the juxtaposition of colonialism and wilderness. In general, Hudson River School artists believed that nature in the form of the American landscape was an ineffable manifestation of God, though the artists varied in the depth of their religious conviction. They took as their inspiration such European masters as Claude Lorrain, John Constable and JMW Turner, and shared a reverence for America's natural beauty with contemporary American writers such as Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Adventure Travel ~ Banco Chinchorro Mexico YouTube HD
Our most adventuresome travel was like stepping back in time as we traveled 34km off shore from Mahahual Costa Maya to a small fishing village at Banco Chinchorro. Things haven't changed much here over the decades, but technology has arrived as some of the fisherman homes on stilts sport satellite TV and the fishermen are using a more labor and time intensive method of catching lobster live for transport to sea food restaurants around the world. Banco Chinchorro is an atoll reef lying off the southeast coast of the Municipality of Othón P. Blanco in Quintana Roo, Mexico, near Belize that is one of the world's premiere shipwreck diving spots. Its beauty is gorgeously showcased throughout the 2009 semi-documentary film "Alamar" by Pedro González-Rubio. The reef, which lies in Mexican waters 35 km offshore in the Caribbean Sea, is about 80 km east of the city of Chetumal,is approximately 40.2 kilometres (25.0 mi) long from north to south, and approximately 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) wide at its widest point. It covers an area of 800 km². The atoll has three islands, with an aggregate land area of 6.7 km. The natural vegetation of the islands is largely mangrove near the shore shading into open woodland more than 20--30 m from the shore. There is a cayman reserve on the southernmost (and biggest) island. The islands (in common with many isolated tropical islands) are thickly populated with small crabs, which are tame and so easily trodden on inadvertently by visitors. Some of the ...

More 1990 East Mids area action
Another upload from the 1990s archives! This feature opens at Shirebrook, featuring a shunt into and out of the old Davies Wagon Works. Lots of Class 20 action, with other classes (56, 58) common to the East Midlands coalfields also featuring. Both Toton and Barrow Hill depots and environs also feature in this film. Also reviewed is the sad sight of the scrap line of class 20 locos to be found at the time at the former Stanton Gate sidings - the locos being moved from Toton depot, where space was needed.

Travel Guide - Road From Makuti to Mana Pools Zimbabwe. 4X4 Tourism Adventure video.
Self Drive Do it Yourself Zimbabwe: www.africaafrica.co.za At the town of Makuti, situated high on Zambezi Escarpment, you need to fill up your tanks as there are no petrol or diesel available in Mana Pools National Park. This is also a good time to do some last minute shopping or to enjoy an ice-cold beer at the hotel. 16 Km from Makuti on your way to Zambia you will reach the National Parks office situated at Marongora. All visitors to the Zambezi Valley must obtain an entry permit here. You won't be allowed into the reserve without it. The view onto the Zambezi Valley from the top of the escarpment is magnificent and on a clear day you can see forever. Descending the winding pass to the foot of the escarpment you reach the turnoff to Mana Pools 16 km from Marongora where you obtained your permit. Turn right onto the gravel road. The distance to Nyamepi Camp and the reception office is 72 km and could take up to 2 hours to reach. Although most types of vehicles can negotiate most of the roads in the park, care should be taken especially at the sandy river crossings. The 220 000 ha Mana pools National Park lies in the north of Zimbabwe between the Rukomechi and Sapi rivers. The Zambezi River forms the northern boundary and the Zambezi Escarpment the southern. Huge herds of elephant and buffalo occur in the park and lion, waterbuck, zebra and impala are plentiful. Nearly 400 species of bird have been recorded in the area. Open in the dry months from May to October Mana ...

Nourished by the Same River - A Common Homeland
After a journey of five-thousand kilometers, after it reaches Ho Chi Minh City the Lancang-Mekong River loses itself in the sea, leaving the Sub-regional Area a very long coastal line of about 10 thousand kilometers. This area was once part of the Silk Road on the sea, a route through which trade on water, over time, led to the blending of different cultures. Today, business activities are booming in each of the region's ports due to a local economic cooperative mechanism which came into effect in 1992, the true fruits of which were seen after 2002 when the mechanism became a full-scale practice. With this economic cooperation among local countries has entered a new chapter. This program gives an overview of the economic cooperation now taking place between these countries, about the efforts being undertaken by the Chinese government in the mechanism, and of exchanges in culture and tourism that benefit all six countries in the region. This program also reports on Chinese experts helping Cambodian rebuild the temple of Chau Say Tevoda in Angkor Wat, and watches students from countries in the Sub-region studying in China and hears comments from their diplomatic officials to China. The title of this series, a joint effort by the national TV broadcasters of all six countries participating, is "Nourished by the Same River" and its theme is "Cooperation, friendship, harmony and Development".

Finland - Helsinki Cityscape - TV Traveller
Finland is a country of thousands of lakes and islands; 187888 lakes (larger than 500 m²) and 179584 islands to be precise.[15] One of these lakes, Saimaa, is the fifth largest in Europe. The Finnish landscape is mostly flat with few hills and its highest point, the Halti at 1324 metres, is found in the extreme north of Lapland at the border between Finland and Norway. The landscape is covered mostly (seventy-five percent of land area) by coniferous taiga forests and fens, with little arable land. The most common type of rock is granite. It is a ubiquitous part of the scenery, visible wherever there is no soil cover. Moraine or till is the most common type of soil, covered by a thin layer of humus of biological origin. The greater part of the islands are found in southwest in the Archipelago Sea, part of the archipelago of the Åland Islands, and along the southern coast in the Gulf of Finland.

Driving in Japan - Narrow Streets & Residential Areas 1/2
Part 2: youtu.be Those types of residential areas (which is called 住宅街: meaning residents-town) are very typical in Japan, and it's often that each house stands even 1-2 m close to each other. From my room, though my house is not in a really typical 住宅街 like the "Homest Town" in this video, I could jump into the next house's room if the window is opened. Usually in those residential areas, a house has room for one car or two in the parking area. Two-floor houses are typical, although some are three-floor (those are not so common as two-floor ones, and seen more in urban areas, where the land is more expensive and you can't get wide land), and one-floor houses can be seen, too, but they tend to be more "Japanese style" houses, and they are wider, not necessarily tall. Oh, and about the difference between アパート and マンション, is usually, you BUY (with loan or not) your own room in mansion for some ten million yen or so. On the other hand, in アパート, you only rent your room, and pay monthly. And as I said in the video, "mansion (マンション)" are likely much huger, more gorgeous (some have gym, swimming pool, residents-only cafe and such, etc.) than "apartment (アパート)." And usually, マンション have entrance with doors that often have number-lock. You can't enter if you don't live there, unless the door is unlocked for you (or you are told the number) by the resident you are visiting. So, even though either マンション or アパート is not your own HOUSE, people ...

The hill village of Dalat is a temperate tourist escape from the tropical heat of the rest of Vietnam. The most common tourist activity in Dalat is to take an Easy Rider guided motorcycle of the surrounding countryside.
