Dr.Osama Kloub Medical Videos - Hernia Exam- Surgical Examination
# Channel: Surgical Examination» # This Medical Video: Inguinal hernia Diagram of an indirect, scrotal inguinal hernia ( median view from the left). Diagram of an indirect, scrotal inguinal hernia ( median view from the left). By far the most common hernias (up to 75% of all abdominal hernias) are the so-called inguinal hernias. For a thorough understanding of inguinal hernias, much insight is needed in the anatomy of the inguinal canal. Inguinal hernias are further divided into the more common indirect inguinal hernia (2/3, depicted here), in which the inguinal canal is entered via a congenital weakness at its entrance (the internal inguinal ring), and the direct inguinal hernia type (1/3), where the hernia contents push through a weak spot in the back wall of the inguinal canal. Inguinal hernias are more common in men than women while femoral hernias are more common in women. # Tags: hernia exam # Added: 28-08-10 Views: (55257)

How to Identify and Correct a Hiatal Hernia: Part 1
Make sure to watch part 2 for self help techniques youtu.be And read the article about hiatal hernia at www.modernherbalmedicine.com In answer to all the critics who comment on this video, I'd like to make a few points. First, the woman I was doing this to was my fiancé and became my wife. She has already posted comments on this video indicating how much this helped her asthma and improved her health. Second, I am not a doctor, so when I've done this with people I have not charged them for doing it. I've done it for FREE, which means I get no financial gain from helping people with these techniques. The fact is, that these techniques work and if you read through the comments you'll find many people indicating how much this has helped them. I learned this from a naturopath who did it to me and it did more to improve my health than anything I've ever had done for me. He did this with hundreds of people and has taught it to dozens of others who have also helped hundreds of people. This procedure is harmless and non-invasive. If it doesn't work or help, then go to a doctor and have surgery. It doesn't hurt to try things like this first. I'm not opposed to doctors or medicine, I just thing that harmless, non-invasive techniques should be tried first when there are non-life-threatening health problems like this. Also, for all of you who want to make rude comments about Elena (the lady in the video) , she and I were married shortly after this, and although we still aren't ...

Hernia
Patient with huge inguinal hernia and no health insurance. Examination of the patient was preformed by Dr. Petersen. Surgery was performed the next day. Hernias should not be allowed to get this big and should be fixed as soon as they are diagnosed. This patient ignored his hernia only because he has no insurance. With the help of No Insurance Surgery, Inc. and Dr Petersen he got the surgery that he desperately needed.

Hernia - Hiatal Open Repair Surgery PreOp® Patient Education
on.fb.me -NEW facebook page - it's cool! Patient Education Company Your doctor has recommended that you undergo surgery to repair a hiatal hernia. But what does that actually mean? Your diaphragm is a muscle that separates your chest from your abdomen and helps you to breathe. Normally, the diaphragm has an opening for the esophagus to pass through where it connects with the stomach. A hiatal hernia occurs when part of the stomach pushes upward through this small opening. Patient Education Your hiatal hernia may be causing considerable discomfort, with symptoms like heartburn, difficulty swallowing, chest pain and belching. The reasons why hiatal hernias form are not known, but they are quite common. A hernia is dangerous only if it becomes strangulated. That means that the portion of the stomach that is pushed up into the chest may become pinched - preventing blood from reaching it. If this happens, you may require emergency surgery to restore blood flow and to repair the hernia. Patient Education Luckily, the vast majority of hernias are not considered to be emergencies. However, if you should ever feel a sudden onset of severe pain in your chest or stomach, you should seek medical attention immediately. So make sure that you ask your doctor to carefully explain the reasons behind this recommendation. Patient Education Company

Following a disappointing outing at the first round of Eddy's Extreme Enduro at Buxton, Farioli KTM rider David Knight MBE put in a spectacular performance as a reminder that he is still the Tour De force in British Enduro. Fully recovered from a recent hernia operation he put on a show by consistently jumping a 4 metre wide ditch on his way to an outstanding victory in the second round of the series, lapping all but Graham Jarvis in the process.

Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair repairs a patient's groin hernia. Traditionally, such a hernia was repaired with an incision above the groin. Now, with laparoscopic technology, this hernia is repaired using three small incisions - resulting in a quicker recovery, as well as a faster return to work and normal activity. This video reviews such a procedure performed by Mark Liberman, MD For more information, visit www.libermanadvancedsurgical.com.

Hernia Repair Inguinal (Laparoscopic) PreOp® Patient Education
SEE MORE VIDEOS: PreOp.com Patient Education http or bit.ly - Patient Education -- Before we talk about treatment, let's start with a discussion about the human body and about your medical condition. Your doctor has told you that you have a hernia. But what does that actually mean? Patient Education In general terms, we can say that a hernia occurs when the layers that make up the abdominal wall weaken. In other words, the fabric of muscle and other tissues which protect the gut, develops a defect, or weakness. Through that defect the peritoneum (PER-IT-TA-NEE-UM) - and perhaps other organs - push their way outward, forming a lump which can be felt - and sometimes seen - protruding from the abdomen. During normal childhood development, boy's testes slowly descend from the interior of the abdomen, down into the scrotum. They pass through the abdominal wall by way of a natural passageway called the inguinal canal. In men, the inguinal canal contains blood vessels that supply the testes, as well as the vessel that carries sperm to the penis. Hernias that occur due to a weakness in the abdominal wall at the inguinal canal, are called inguinal hernias. And not surprisingly, men are 25 times more likely than women to experience a hernia in this area. Some inguinal hernias press directly through the floor of the inguinal canal. Others follow the route taken by the blood vessels that supply the testes. This kind of hernia - called an indirect hernia - can even push all the way ...
