Leigh Dunlop Brownlee (17 December 1882 – 22 September 1955) was a journalist who became editor of the Daily Mirror from 1931 to 1934. He also played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire, Oxford University and Somerset between 1901 and 1909. He was born at Bristol and died at Clifton, also in Bristol.

Educated at Clifton College, Brownlee was a right-handed middle- or lower-order batsman and an infrequent right-arm slow bowler, and was top of the Clifton batting averages in 1900. After leaving school in the summer of 1901, he made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire in two end-of-season matches, and in his first game, against Somerset at Taunton, he made 66 in the Gloucestershire second innings, though he was unable to prevent a Somerset victory with less than an hour of the scheduled match time remaining. A student at Oxford University from the autumn of 1901, he played in one match for the university cricket team in 1902, and in one match for Somerset against the university side – Somerset frequently "borrowed" university players for their matches against the university sides in the first third of the 20th century, but this game has an additional curiosity in that it is one of the few 12-a-side first-class matches. Though unable to break into the Oxford University side, Brownlee played regularly for Gloucestershire when the university term was over, and in the match against Kent at Bristol he scored 103 in the first innings, the only century of his first-class cricket career. In 1903, he was given half a dozen games for the university side but was not successful then, nor in 10 matches for Gloucestershire in the second half of the season: his batting average for the season as a whole was under 10 runs per innings, and his highest score in the season was just 43.

Chad Brownlee (born July 12, 1984 in Kelowna, British Columbia) is a Canadian country music artist and ice hockey defenceman.

Brownlee was a draft pick for the Vancouver Canucks in 2003, going in the sixth round #190th overall. After four years of playing for the NCAA's Minnesota State Mavericks (located in Mankato, Minn.), Brownlee made his pro debut with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads in 2007.

Following a series of injuries, he turned his attention to music the following year. His first single, "The Best That I Can (Superhero)", was released in November 2009. Brownlee's self-titled debut album, produced by Mitch Merrett, was released in August 2010. He followed it up with Love Me or Leave Me in 2012.

Jason Blaine (born April 19, 1980 in Pembroke, Ontario) is a Canadian country music singer/songwriter from Pembroke, Ontario. The winner of Project Discovery 2002, Jason's top 10 singles include "Rock In My Boot" and "Flirtin' With Me."

In 2002, Jason Blaine won Project Discovery 2002, a talent search sponsored by CMT. His victory led to the release of his first single the following year, "That's What I Do." Working with producer Jason Barry, Jason released his independent debut album, While We Were Waiting, on July 26, 2005. Singles released from the album include "Heartache Like Mine," "While We Were Waiting" and "What I Can't Forget." Jason signed with Icon Records in 2006, who re-released his album on June 24.

Jason recently moved to Nashville to begin work on his second album. Make My Move was released by Koch Entertainment Canada on May 20, 2008. Currently, Jason's new record "Sweet Sundown" released in early 2010, has produced two Top 10 singles (Numb & Run With Me) and the Current single and video "Hillbilly Girl" is now Top 20 on CMT Canada. In May 2010, Jason was the only Canadian act to open for Brooks & Dunn on their final Canadian Tour. Jason is currently back home in Nashville where he lives with his wife and two children in Goodlettsville, TN and is writing new music to be released in 2011.^{[dated info]}

Deric J. Ruttan (born January 27, 1972) is a Canadian country music artist from Bracebridge, Ontario. Signed to Lyric Street Records in 2003, he made his chart debut on the U.S. and Canadian country music charts that year with the release of his single "When You Come Around". His self-titled debut album was released that year, producing a total of five singles on the Canadian country music charts. A second album, titled First Time in a Long Time, was released in April 2008.

Deric moved to Nashville in 1994 to pursue his music career, spending his days writing songs and his nights scouring the city getting ideas and learning from local singer/songwriters. He got his break in 1999 when producer Steve Bogard heard one of Deric's tapes and liked it. Steve signed Deric to a songwriting deal and immediately began recording his first demos. After Doug Howard at Lyric Street Records heard his demo and Deric played five songs live for Randy Goodman, Deric scored a record deal with the label. In 2003, he released his debut album, Deric Ruttan.

Kel Johari Rice Mitchell (born August 25, 1978) is an American actor, comedian, dancer, musician, writer, producer, and Wendy's franchise manager. He is best known for his work as a regular cast member of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That, his portrayal of Kel Kimble on the Nickelodeon sitcom Kenan & Kel, his role as Ed in the film Good Burger, and as the voice of Dutch in the Disney XD cartoon Motorcity.

Mitchell is an original member of Nickelodeon's All That and starred on the show from 1994–1999. He and Kenan Thompson also starred in the series Kenan & Kel from 1996–2000, as well as a 1997 major motion picture, titled Good Burger, which grew out of one of his sketches from All That. The duo also appeared together in an episode of Sister, Sister with Tia and Tamera Mowry, a few episodes of The Steve Harvey show, and they appeared in a special two-part episode of Cousin Skeeter. Mitchell's character in Kenan & Kel made him famous for his antics and persona.

Outside of his ventures with Kenan Thompson, Mitchell provided the voice of a mild-mannered and playful dog named T-Bone in the children's cartoon series Clifford the Big Red Dog, alongside John Ritter, from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, he also made an appearance in the 2004 Kanye West music video All Falls Down as a luggage collecting valet. Mitchell co-hosted Dance 360 with Fredro Starr; the show lasted for only one season. In 2005, Mitchell portrayed Manny Sellers in the sitcom One on One with Kyla Pratt, and in 2007 Mitchell starred in BET's new series Take the Cake. Some of his other credits include Honeydripper and Mystery Men.
