That's it. DeAndre Jordan's 360-game streak ends thanks to a made-up non-disease called "pneumonia". I just looked it up and it doesn't exist. There's probably some deeper conspiracy going on here, but honestly, I got tired of doing investigative reporting after I found out some stuff about Andrea Bargnani and pasta smuggling rings. Don't ask. If you knew, they'd have to kill you like they tried to kill me. Let's just say that Primo pasta and sauce isn't so "primo".
So who gets to start in place of the "sick" DeAndre Jordan? Cole "Aldrich Horror" Aldrich, of course! This game simply proves what we already knew, that Chris Paul can make any big man look decent as long as said big man has semi-soft hands and some sort of mobility. Aldrich is probably still a bust, but his ability to perform adequately when given anything more than the most minimal of minutes means that he should stick around for a few more years as a bench guy.

Cole Aldrich is the answer to the eternal question of "What would you get if you took Greg Stiemsma and made him better at basketball but not too much better?". There are other questions that he is also the answer to; but none of those questions are as profound as this one.
On an unrelated note, it's really weird seeing Chris Paul throw passes to a center who can actually catch them. Sure, DeAndre Jordan can catch lobs, but that's about it. Trying to use him in any other way only ends in sadness. Cole, on the other hand, has soft yet firm hands for grabbing balls directed towards him. And he knows what to do with the balls when he gets them.

It's that time of year again! The regular season is drawing to a close, and bad teams are giving their scrubs unearned minutes, with predictable results. That's right: career highs for everybody!
The Knicks have actually been in this stage of the season for a long time now. Not for the whole season, but for most of it. Ricky Ledo, Lance Thomas, Langston Galloway, Shane Larkin, these are just a sampling of the not-very-good players who have played enough to propel them to unheard-of scoring heights.
Cole Aldrich hasn't always been the beneficiary of being on so bad of a team, despite some promising performances early in the season. Lou Amundson (?????) has taken away a lot of his "Hustly white dude" minutes, so Cole has watched the tanking madness unfold from a spot on the bench.
Until tonight. He was reinserted into the starting lineup for no reason (Amundson not white enough for you?), and produced, scoring 14 points in the first on his way to 19 on the night. Mid-April regular season basketball is truly the most magical of all.

At the end of last year I made some Cole Aldrich highlights where he got a career high in points, rebounds and blocks.
Guess what.
He did it again! Cole Aldrich is officially a member of DownToBuck's "End of the Year All-Star Team". He sucks (or rather, doesn't get any minutes) for the entire year, and then when the April games roll around he decides to show just enough for some other team to pick him up next year.
Maybe if they had played him more the Knicks would have made the playoffs. Oh well. At least this draft is totally loaded and a horrible team like New York should be able to get a good player.

Cole David Aldrich (born October 31, 1988) is an American basketball player who is currently playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He completed his junior year at the University of Kansas in March 2010. Aldrich was selected as a McDonald's All American in 2006. He attended Bloomington Jefferson High School. The New Orleans Hornets selected Aldrich eleventh overall in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft.
Cole went to junior high at Bloomington Lutheran School in Bloomington, Minnesota, where he was coached by former NBA player Randy Breuer.
Aldrich attended Bloomington Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a senior, he was named state player of the year by the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
During the 2007–08 season at Kansas, Aldrich's freshman season, his playing time was limited due to playing behind future NBA draft picks Darrell Arthur, Sasha Kaun, and Darnell Jackson. He averaged three rebounds and 2.8 points a game on 8.3 minutes a game during the regular season. Statistically, Aldrich's best performance was an 11-point, 11-rebound outing in a win over Texas Tech on March 3, 2008. Probably the most crucial game for Aldrich was during the Final Four game between Kansas and North Carolina on April 5, 2008, when he played only 16 minutes but managed to grab 8 rebounds and score 7 points along with blocking 4 shots while also playing effective defense against National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough, helping lead Kansas into the NCAA national championship game. They then defeated the Memphis Tigers to win their first Championship since 1988.

It's that time of year again! The regular season is drawing to a close, and bad teams are giving their scrubs unearned minutes, with predictable results. That's right: career highs for everybody! The Knicks have actually been in this stage of the season for a long time now. Not for the whole season, but for most of it. Ricky Ledo, Lance Thomas, Langston Galloway, Shane Larkin, these are just a sampling of the not-very-good players who have played enough to propel them to unheard-of scoring heights. Cole Aldrich Career High 13 Points/16 Rebounds/5 Blocks Full Highlights (4/16/2014)
At the end of last year I made some Cole Aldrich highlights where he got a career high in points, rebounds and blocks. Guess what. He did it again! Cole Aldrich is officially a member of DownToBuck's "End of the Year All-Star Team". He sucks (or rather, doesn't get any minutes) for the entire year, and then when the April games roll around he decides to show just enough for some other team to pick him up next year. Maybe if they had played him more the Knicks would have made the playoffs. Oh well. At least this draft is totally loaded and a horrible team like New York should be able to get a good player. That's it. DeAndre Jordan's 360-game streak ends thanks to a made-up non-disease called "pneumonia". I just looked it up and it doesn't exist. There's probably some deeper conspiracy going on here, but honestly, I got tired of doing investigative reporting after I found out some stuff about Andrea Bargnani and pasta smuggling rings. Don't ask. If you knew, they'd have to kill you like they tried to kill me. Let's just say that Primo pasta and sauce isn't so "primo".
So who gets to start in place of the "sick" DeAndre Jordan? Cole "Aldrich Horror" Aldrich, of course! KARACHI. Thousands of fans, supporters and friends attended the funeral prayers of Amjad Sabri, the famed qawwal who was shot dead in broad daylight in Liaquatabad here a day earlier. Sabri was laid to rest in the Paposhnagar Graveyard, next to his father, qawwali maestro Ghulam Farid Sabri.
