Psychoactive Drugs The Chilling Truth
www.sharingthebliss.com On December 15th 2011 my sister Darlene Stevens-Smith died as result of adverse withdrawal reactions to psychotropic prescription drugs. I am sharing this video prayerfully to help others avoid going thru the hell she had to endure. [EBN] Emergency Broadcast Network - Psychoactive Drugs [HQ]
"Emergency Broadcast Network (Musical Group)" EBN Electronic Music Clip PsychoActive Drugs, from "We Will Rock You" Album (1992) VHS Tapes: www.discogs.com www.discogs.com Emergency Broadcast Network is the name of a multimedia performance group formed in 1991 that took its name from the Emergency Broadcast System. The founders were Rhode Island School of Design graduates Joshua Pearson, Gardner Post and Brian Kane (author of the Vujak VJ software). I do NOT own any copyrights on this media. Authors are listed above. More Videos (downloadable files) : cdn.distribut.es More of a multi-media organization than a band, Emergency Broadcast Network construct video pastiches much as techno artists use samplers to create audio effects. Josh Pearson (Public Relations Programmer) and Gardner Post (Systems Manager) met at the Rhode Island School of Design in the early '80s and began to experiment with video samples, adding DJ Ron O'Donnell in 1990. Packing a Chevy truck with all their gear, the trio followed the 1991 Lollapalooza tour around America, broadcasting soundtracked videos to somewhat confused concertgoers. The band's first release, in the form of a video (Commercial Entertainment Product) and an audio CD (Behavior Modification), appeared in 1992 on TVT. EBN gained a huge audience later that year when U2 used one song as an opening for their Zoo TV tour. In 1995, the trio released their second album, but also spent time producing videos for the likes of Coldcut and other ...

Psychedelics: LSD, DMT, Mescalin & Psilocybin - Drug induced enlightenment and mental powers
Psychedelics: LSD, DMT, Mescalin & Psilocybin - Drug induced enlightenment and mental powers. Documentary on modern hallucinogens, their use and effects. Hallucinogens are a general group of pharmacological agents that can be divided into three broad categories: psychedelics, dissociatives, and deliriants. These classes of psychoactive drugs have in common that they can cause subjective changes in perception, thought, emotion and consciousness. Unlike other psychoactive drugs, such as stimulants and opioids, these drugs do not merely amplify familiar states of mind, but rather induce experiences that are qualitatively different from those of ordinary consciousness. These experiences are often compared to non-ordinary forms of consciousness such as trance, meditation, dreams, or insanity. A psychedelic experience is characterized by the striking perception of aspects of one's mind previously unknown, or by the creative exuberance of the mind liberated from its ostensibly ordinary fetters. Psychedelic states are an array of experiences including changes of perception such as hallucinations, synesthesia, altered states of awareness or focused consciousness, variation in thought patterns, trance or hypnotic states, mystical states, and other mind alterations. These processes can lead some people to experience changes in mental operation defining their self identity (whether in momentary acuity or chronic development) different enough from their previous normal state that it ...

Turn on tune in
Timothy Leary's exhortation to turn on, tune in, drop out is generally associated with the view that if you can remember the 60s you weren't actually there. But this view ignores the very interesting historical, sociological, not to mention the political and literary implications of psychoactive drug use in the 60s and in other time periods. This illustrated talk, from John Mann, covered a range of psychoactive drugs including LSD, opiates, belladonna, peyote, absinthe and cannabis with an emphasis on the colourful characters who discovered or used or abused these substances. The clinically useful drugs that have emerged from studies of these substances was also be mentioned. bit.ly See more events from the Chemistry Centre, London

What drugs teach us about... Science - 01 The Psychoactive stage
Comedy science series. How a love of drugs can act to build a love of science. Lesson 1 - Molecules and Synapses We explore what molecules are... which is mind blowingly insane in itself, and discover the synapse, the stage on which psychoactive drugs perform their most interesting effects. It is the chatter of molecules and synapses that conspire to produce your consciousness, your experience and your identity. By exploring how drugs affect those things, we learn a great deal more about ourselves. If you enjoy this video, please check out the rest of the series. Music Fan? MDVP "meow-meow" Methylenedioxypyrovalerone psychoactive drug with stimulant
NOT regulated by the FDA, Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) is a psychoactive drug with stimulant properties which acts as a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI). Reportedly, it has been sold since around 2008 as a research chemical. It is also known as Mtv, MDPK, Magic, Super Coke and Peevee. In 2010 it was reportedly sold as a legal drug alternative and marketed in the United States as "bath salts" in gas stations and convenience stores, similar to the marketing for Spice and K2 as incense. MDPV was then going under the street names of Cloud 9, Ivory Wave, Ocean, Charge Plus, White Lightning, Scarface, Hurricane Charlie, Red Dove and White Dove.

Common Sense This blog is my opportunity to express the my opinion's. It also gives me a platform to engage with dialogue about situations and topics that affect us on a global basis. I try to bring humor and banter to the subject matter. Sadly, some of the subject matter is very serious. This is my way of jogging your mind's to see the ridiculous, the rhetoric that our government, corporations and individuals would try to feed us. This is your wake up call. My artwork is designed to enhance the environment and to create an atmosphere of emotion. The being alive and living in the moment, except the this miracle without explanation try to express oneself with brush, song and dance or words. That is my expression and interpretation of my art. The Straight Dope on What Bath Salts Do to Your Brain and Why They're Dangerous I know you've probably already read a few articles about bath salts and their effects (or alleged effects, ie zombie cannibalism) so in this one we're going to get right to the point. Bath salts are dangerous for chiefly two reasons, and neither have anything to do with addiction or hallucinations. The first reason is dosage, and the second is sleep deprivation. Andrew Weil - Psychoactive drugs through human history (2/5)
Playlist: www.youtube.com Andrew Thomas Weil (Born June 8, 1942) is an American author and physician, best known for establishing and popularizing the field of integrative medicine. Weil is the author of several best-selling books and runs a website and monthly newsletter, where he answers questions relating to health. He is the founder and Program Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (formerly the Program in Integrative Medicine), which he started in 1994 at the University of Arizona.[1] He has become one of the leading proponents of integrative medicine. He founded Weil Lifestyle LLC. Andrew Weil was born June 8, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to parents of German and Ukrainian descent. His parents owned a millinery store.[2] While disconnected from the natural world as a child, he excelled academically. He attended both college and medical school at Harvard University. As an undergraduate, Weil took the class Plants & Human Affairs, an ethnobotany class taught by Richard Evans Schultes. He went on to major in botany and wrote his thesis on the narcotic properties of nutmeg,[3] and also served as an editor of the Harvard Crimson and the Harvard Lampoon.[4] After medical school, Weil unconventionally did not seek residency. He completed a medical internship at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco then worked for a year with the National Institute of Mental Health. Psychoactive drugs, a cautionary perspective
The use of psychoactive drugs is often used as a tool for spiritual development. I discuss how the human body-mind vehicle is working perfectly just as it is, and I suggest why the "spiritual" benefits of drug use might go hand in hand with harmful side-effects. darrylslibrary.wordpress.com
