In this video Technology Today segment we introduce up and coming film composer, James Schafer. James was the grand prize winner of the Turner Classic Movies (TCM) Young Film Composers Competition this year. James' entry was selected from over 900 submissions to win a $15,000 cash prize, a Mac Pro audio production workstation and the opportunity to score the 1924 silent film Beau Brummel which will premiere on the TCM network.
James offers a tour of his home studio about an hour outside of Los Angeles. He talks about his experience of the competition, and the new challenges ahead of him both technologically and creatively. He shows off his production rig (newly decked out, courtesy of Apple), and explains his workflow from home studio, to his various collaborators and finally to a recording stage.

Composer LASO in 23 mins (+'Spooky Lighting' Glitch)
Halo 4 Legendary All Skulls On run, with No Deaths on the 7th mission, with a weird lighting glitch throughout. This is the fastest run so far at just over 23 minutes.
== Strategy Overview ==
Hanger
- Kill enemies you initially see. Pistol: Grunts, Jackal Marksmen. Sticky Det: Shielded Jackals
- Sprint jump to the central hangers. Hit button. Kill gunner with Sticky Det. Run to back area.
- Hide upstairs. Wait for Elites to come up one at a time. Assasinate. If 2, run away and then re-engage
- Grab as much DMR as you can
- Use Concussion Rifle, Forklift & Cowbell to launch to up to avoid the last 3rd
Hunters
- Use Grenades/sticky det to soften them up & try to get their back-armour off
- Dance with them and use Shotty/melee to finish them off
Hallway and Airlocks
- Approach cautiously. Use camo to get easy shots off after going around corners.
- Avoid first Elite (parallel hallway) or assassinate as he rushes you (ambush him)
- First Airlock: Go upstairs, go right to the other end. The door opens. Rush through
- Assassinate Elite, DMR/grenade Grunts/jackals
- Wait for Elite and Jackal to come down from the back of the corridor. Kill Jackal
- Camo up to Elite, wait for patrol mode. Assassinate quickly & kill Grunts on ramp
- Camo in and Concussion Rifle Jump in corner, through soft ceiling and onto roof
- Jump over the rafters,
Gun Control+ Final Hallway
- Camp Sprint in and Assassinate the one at the controls. Dance with the other as he rages
- Get DMR/Sticky Det.
- Assassinate Grunt/Jackal and DMR Marksman in next hallway
- Headshot what you can from the doorway
Mantis
- Might want to headshot some Grunts and Jackals before getting in
- There is a large rock over to the left, before the ramp, that will serve as ample cover
- You're very tough, not invincible. Be bold but not an idiot
- Watch especially for aggressive Wraiths, and FRG Grunts and Jackals
- 1st wave of Banshees you need to kill 4 to progress
- Final Phantom wave+Banshees you do not need to kill, but I did anyway (better safe than sorry)

There is an easier way to get to the space battle area, but you can't do as much with it. This one offers more opportunities for exploration earlier on.
