James ("Jimmy") A. Pedro (born October 30, 1970 in Danvers, Massachusetts) is one of the most successful American judo competitors ever, having even won two bronze medals in the Olympics.

Pedro was the World Champion at 73 kg in 1998. He won bronze medals in the 1991 and 1995 World Championships.

Pedro represented the United States in the 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympic Games, winning bronze in 1996 and 2004. The United States has not traditionally been strong in judo, and a bronze medal in Olympic judo is an enormous accomplishment for an American athlete. His entry in the "Legends" section of a major judo magazine's web site lists 29 gold medals in international competition alone.

Pedro retired from competitive judo after the 2004 Olympics. In recent years he has worked for Monster.com, promoted a brand of tatami and zebra (mats) used for judo and jujutsu practice and competition, and been the subject of a biographical movie.

He coaches and teaches in Wakefield, Massachusetts. He is the married father of four children.

Travis Stevens (born February 28, 1986) is a judoka from United States who competed in 2008 Summer Olympics.

Dr. Rhadi Bullard Ferguson (April 3, 1975 - ) is an Bahamian American mixed martial arts trainer, strength and conditioning coach, motivational speaker, and black belt in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Ferguson grew up in Miami, Florida where he began training in judo at the age of 7 under the tutelage of 7th degree red and white belt Jack Williams, until the age of 12. Ferguson had to quit judo for several years after his family had left Miami and moved to Rockville, Maryland and would not begin training again until after he finished college at age 22.

Ferguson is a four time national champion in judo. At the age of 29, Ferguson competed in judo at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece in the men's heavyweight division. He was previously an alternate in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

In addition to judo, Ferguson also holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and has competed in numerous jiu-jitsu and submission grappling tournaments. During his competitive career, Ferguson who stands 5 ft 9 in and weighed 225 lb. had a reported 5% body fat.
