How to install RISC OS on a RaspberryPi.
Installing RISC OS on a RaspberryPi is simple.
You'll need five things:
1. A Windows computer (others can be used, but you're on your own)
2. The RISC OS image - http://www.raspberrypi.org/ ... click on Downloads
3. A RaspberryPi
4. Win32DiskImager - http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
5. A 2GiB SD card (it must be 2 gigabytes)
This video tutorial will explain how to install RISC OS, and also how to set it up to be useful if you don't have an HD monitor but are stuck with composite video.
English language subtitles are available, for those who don't understand my accent. ;-)
English language subtitles are now available.
If anybody would be interested in providing subtitles in their own language (French, German, Dutch, etc); I have put the original subtitle file at http://www.heyrick.co.uk/random/riscos-raspberrypi.srt for you to use as a template, especially with respect to the timings. Mail me a link to your translation, and I'll add it and credit you here.
RealLife segments recorded with an 8mm Sony TRV15E HandyCam.
All video digitised using a Neuros OSD.
Audio rerecorded using HiQ MP3 Recorder on a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro Android mobile phone.
Embedded caption SRT file created by hand in Notepad 'cos I'm a masochist.
Subtitle SRT file created with URUSoft's Subtitle Workshop.
Everything assembled and edited with AVIDemux on an eeePC 901 with Windows XP.
The backdrop is Haruhi Christmas, I found it via Google image search a couple of years ago. Yes, I'm a Haruhi fan. (^_^)

Raspberry Pi running RISC OS 5
I have a stack of old RISC OS machines including an Iyonix. I loved them. Best UI ever and still. But they don't have all the games and hardware of Windows or the internet ability of Linux. So it's been a while since I used one. When I heard a that RISC OS would run on the Pi, I had to try it for myself! Brilliant. Here's me trying it for the second time.

Uploading a file with Safari
There are a few reasons to use Safari over other browsers on the Mac, though the reasons are usually down to OS integration through the use of Cocoa and so of debatable benefit when taken in the context of the browser's feature set.
This one allows you to shortcut browsing for files with drag-and-drop.
Personally, I still think that RISC OS had the best interface for this. Apple would do well to take a look and integrate for Snow Leopard.

Firefox vs. NetSurf on RISC OS
This was done on an Acorn RiscPC with a 233 MHz StrongARM. Firefox, quite frankly, is useless on the RPC. Nothing against the port, it seems to be a well done port, it's just that it's the wrong browser for these older machines. If you really need to run Firefox on RISC OS, I suspect an Iyonix would work much better. (Or, for that matter, a BeagleBoard, once RISC OS 5 is ported to it.)
Sorry about the video quality. CRTs suck.
