Mosin-Nagant 10-round magazine- feed test 1
UPDATE: 9/24/12 I have put together a separate website for these mags. Please sign up to the mailing list at www.mosinmags.com (if you signed up to the old mailing list you'll have to sign up again to this new one unfortunately) This is a feed test video of a 10-round Mosin-Nagant magazine I'm building (patent pending) and hope to possibly sell one day soon. It replaces the original floorplate of the Mosin and requires no modification of the rifle whatsoever. This prototype was made from scratch out of raw sheetmetal and uses a WASR-10 AK-47 magazine spring and heavily modified follower. By the way, these are "dummy" rounds I'm using that were made for me by a reloader. They have no powder and spent primers. Live rounds should never be handled like this in an urban setting. For more pics of the magazine and more info about the Scout rifle, feel free to take a look at my blog at www.datamancer.net

AR-15 Dirt Test With Mike Pannone
Here's Mike Pannone's narration: The rifle is a 14.5" BCM M4 Spec barrel, spring was stock, buffer was H, trigger parts were factory. The rifle had fired 1200 rounds prior to the test with only 8-10 drops of MGL. It was not completely dry but was definitely dirty. I had used it for 5 NVG courses with a Federal Agency prior. The only malfunctions are at the end of magazines 5 (bolt over base on 28th round and then a double feed on 29 and 30) and 7 (failure to feed 30th round bolt over base) and those are both distinctly magazine caused. Feeding, chambering and locking as well as extraction and ejection are very positive. That is 210 rounds on a dirty gun under as close to combat/austere conditions as we can replicate for a desert environment. The mild overpressure in the upper receiver from the direct impingement system discharges the bulk of excess dirt and debris with the first shot and by shots 3 and 4 leaves at best only a light film of dirt on the face of the BCG. Summary: The D/I system is far more reliable and for amore tolerant to sand that the conventional wisdom would lead on. The D/I system actually aids in clearing out sand, dirt and debris and magazines are the weakest point of any operating system. Magazine 5 feeds too slow on the last 3 rounds and magazine 7 the last round. Both are symptoms of weak magazine springs and fouling due to sand. Those were my crap training magazines and were shot through a dirty gun that was covered in sand with the ejection port ...

www.evike.com www.evike.com KWA Full Metal M1911 MKIII PTP Professional Training Pistol (Black / NS2 gas system) The NS2 System increases the performance and reliability of the KWA M1911 Series Gas Blowback Pistols. The NS2 internal gas delivery system is a KWA patented design that utilizes an advanced lightweight composite gas piston with a two-stage internal expansion chamber that delivers the gas more efficiently than that of its predecessors. The NS2 design also increases the weapon cycle rate and provides for a crisp, realistic blow back action. Other parts of the pistol like the recoil springs, recoil springs guide assembly, hop-up chamber, magazine followers, has also been improved along with a new magazine that is milled from a solid steel billet. This new construction strengthens the magazine??s structural integrity and increases pressure carrying capacity. The magazine feed-lip has also been reinforced.

Car Craft Magazine live build of '72 Chevelle
Remember your high school car? Who doesn't? If you grew up in the '80s or '90s, you might have had a car just like this '72 Chevelle, or like most of us, you might have been driving total junk. We're older now and way out of school, but sometimes we wonder what our high-school beater could have been had we known more about cars. In the spirit of nostalgia, we are going to hammer this car into an awesome cruiser in one weekend. It's not going to be a high-dollar build. Instead, we are going to add only one swap-meet speed part and use the rattle can and some simple ideas to make the car cool. Then we are going to cruise it around and fix stuff when it falls off.. To join us, visit CarCraft.com/Chevelle on January 10, and watch the action live. Read more: www.carcraft.com

Ducked and Covered: A Survival Guide to the Post Apocalypse
Ducked and Covered: A Survival Guide to the Post Apocalypse is an instructional public information film designed to assist the general population with surviving life in Australia after a nuclear war. Produced by the Australian Board of Civil Defense during the early 1980s, this previously unseen, dusty print was uncovered deep within a university film archive.
Broken into four chapters, the film guides wary survivors through the trials that will await them in the post apocalypse. From post-apocalyptic fashion and unique uses for surplus human skulls, to becoming a local warlord and avoiding radioactive mutants, there is something for all dwellers of the wastelands. With its dry methodical narration, brooding synthesizer, minimalist animation and erroneous guidance, Ducked and Covered is a dark humored parody/loving homage to the late cold war era, early 1980’s public information films, as well as a reminder… OF WHAT STILL COULD BE.

EOS Talking Tree - Making of
Everybody has an opinion on Nature. But what about Nature’s opinion?
EOS magazine decided to give Nature the means to talk.
A 100 year old tree, living on the edge of Brussels, was hooked up to a fine dust meter, ozone meter, light meter, weatherstation, webcam and microphone. This equipment constantly measures the tree’s living circumstances. And translates this information into human language. Then, the tree lets the world know how he feels. SILENCE OF DEATH directed by Mani Nasry (16MM FILM) 1ST YEAR RYERSON UNIVERSITY STUDENT FILM
IMDB PAGE
www.imdb.me/maninasry
This Scene expresses- FEAR- noun: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). noun: a feeling of anxiety and agitation caused by the presence or nearness of danger, evil, pain, etc.; timidity; dread; terror; fright; apprehension. Terrify not your soul with vain imaginary fears. By realizing that you are the one feeding the fire, you can start to take control of your fears. Panic is a vicious cycle that can be broken. When you start to have irrational fears you need to take action quick. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing, which you think you cannot do." We must stop running away from things that frighten us, face our fears head on, and do the thing we fear the most. Most of the time we'll find out that the "thing" was not that scary after all. Our imaginations had behaved like a super fertilizer and grown a grotesque monstrosity in our minds. Remember, our imaginations are incredibly powerful. They can work against us, creating horrible images that leave us paralyzed with fear and they can also work for us, building a world where everything we do is an adventure, a miracle. And the most amazing thing is that we hold the power to control our minds - we allow fear to dominate our lives or we choose to dominate fear. Those are our only two choices.

Review: HC3R Magazine for RUGER 10/22 ( High Capacity Rapid Reload Mag )
I picked up this magazine because I was intrigued by the thumbstud that allows you to pull down the follower spring, making loading a lot easier on the fingers. Well, let me tell you, that thing WORKS! And that wasn't the only cool feature of this magazine. Check out the video for information on the stripper clip loading and bullet pocket features. The video is long, but very comprehensive. It takes a little practice to get used to the loading process, but once you do...wow...fast, fast, fast loading. The company making these is hcmags.com check them out! ***UPDATE*** the manufacturer contacted me the day I put this video up and asked if they could link it in their website. So that was kind of cool. Any way, you'll see it up on their site, but rest assured I made this video because I like the product. I didn't get paid to make the video. I was pretty dubious about banana mags after my debacle with the RUGER BX-25. Here's a link to that review video: youtu.be The HC3R magazine performed so well for me over some pretty rigorous testing that I may never touch my Ruger rotary magazines again. If you're looking for a magazine that is easy to load, reliable, and holds a LOT of ammunition you should really check these HC3R magazines out!

Baby Desert Eagle II .40 S&W; aka Jericho (Part 2)
Baby Desert Eagle II .40 S&W; polymer full-zize. Israel Weapon Industries. Imported/Marketed by Magnum Research (Kahr). READ MORE BELOW... Ammunition: 165gr Fiocchi FMJ This video is a follow-up on the initial failure-to-feed problems I was having. The very first round from the display-model Tanfoglio magazine would fail to feed every time. I decided to try the brand new Tanfoglio magazine that came in the gun case (untouched). It worked GREAT. I also put the original 180gr Federal ammo from the first video in the new magazine. It worked GREAT. So... it was NOT the gun or an ammo problem, but a magazine problem. CZ75 magazines WILL fit a Baby Desert Eagle. But, you must make sure your Baby Eagle has the mag release on the left side, resulting in the mag catch on the right side. Because... the CZ75 magazine (that I have) only has a mag catch on the right side. See the first video of the failure to feeds here: www.youtube.com
