"There was a snow storm approaching in about an hour and we were doing a check ride. Because of possible ice, we had been flying with the gear down the entire time. We started doing touch and goes after a while. Habit when you take off is to raise the gear. This is what happened. So, when we come around, they were conversing and what not and simply forgot the gear was up. The prop got bent up pretty bad along with the belly of the plane."

Cessna 152 (or C-150) and Cessna 172 landings late in a day at Brampton Airport on runway 08.
The C-152 is a privately own aircraft and new to the field.
The C-172 is Brampton Flying Clubs training aircraft. Unfortunately my camera lost focus so I ended the video but the pilot had some difficulty on landing that we only get to see about half.

(Abya Yala digital).- El Gobierno Nacional, se encarga de los 172 municipios que fueron afectados por los fenómenos climatológicos que afectaron al país.
El viceministro de Defensa Civil, Óscar Cabrera, dio a conocer datos sobre los daños que causaron los distintos fenómenos climatológicos en todo el territorio nacional.
“Se ha hecho una evaluación de 174 mil familias que en 172 municipios que se han declarado en emergencia. El gobierno nacional ha llegado a cubrir a gran parte de los municipios y los departamentos”, aseguró Cabrera.
Según el viceministro el Gobierno Nacional logró trabajar con todas las áreas afectadas por las sequías. Por otro lado dio a conocer los datos de las personas damnificadas a causa de las inundaciones y riadas gracias a la época de lluvias.
“De momento tenemos una cifra de 1.900 familias en 14 municipios que este reportaron desde el mes de diciembre”, informó el viceministro.
Son 300 hectáreas en los valles y el altiplanos las que sufrieron daños durante las riadas y 13 personas fallecidas a causa de inundaciones y tormentas eléctricas.

Cessna 172
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a four-seat, single-engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company. First flown in 1955, more Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft.
Measured by its longevity and popularity, the Cessna 172 is the most successful aircraft in history. Cessna delivered the first production models in 1956. As of 2015, Cessna, and its partners, had built more than 43,000. The Skyhawk's main competitors have been the Beechcraft Musketeer and Grumman AA-5 series (neither currently in production), the Piper Cherokee, and, more recently, the Diamond DA40.
Design and development
The Cessna 172 started life as a tricycle landing gear variant of the taildragger Cessna 170, with a basic level of standard equipment. In January 1955, Cessna flew an improved variant of the Cessna 170, a Continental O-300-A-powered Cessna 170C with larger elevators and a more angular tailfin. Although the variant was tested and certified, Cessna decided to modify it with a tricycle landing gear, and the modified Cessna 170C flew again on 12 June 1955. To reduce the time and cost of certification, the type was added to the Cessna 170 type certificate as the Model 172. Later, the 172 was given its own type certificate, 3A12. The 172 became an overnight sales success, and over 1,400 were built in 1956, its first full year of production.

"There was a snow storm approaching in about an hour and we were doing a check ride. Because of possible ice, we had been flying with the gear down the entire time. We started doing touch and goes after a while. Habit when you take off is to raise the gear. This is what happened. So, when we come around, they were conversing and what not and simply forgot the gear was up. The prop got bent up pretty bad along with the belly of the plane."

The C-152 is a privately own aircraft and new to the field.
The C-172 is Brampton Flying Clubs training aircraft. Unfortunately my camera lost focus so I ended the video but the pilot had some difficulty on landing that we only get to see about half.

(Abya Yala digital).- El Gobierno Nacional, se encarga de los 172 municipios que fueron afectados por los fenómenos climatológicos que afectaron al país.
El viceministro de Defensa Civil, Óscar Cabrera, dio a conocer datos sobre los daños que causaron los distintos fenómenos climatológicos en todo el territorio nacional.
“Se ha hecho una evaluación de 174 mil familias que en 172 municipios que se han declarado en emergencia. El gobierno nacional ha llegado a cubrir a gran parte de los municipios y los departamentos”, aseguró Cabrera.
Según el viceministro el Gobierno Nacional logró trabajar con todas las áreas afectadas por las sequías. Por otro lado dio a conocer los datos de las personas damnificadas a causa de las inundaciones y riadas gracias a la época de lluvias.
“De momento tenemos una cifra de 1.900 familias en 14 municipios que este reportaron desde el mes de diciembre”, informó el viceministro.
Son 300 hectáreas en los valles y el altiplanos las que sufrieron daños durante las riadas y 13 personas fallecidas a causa de inundaciones y tormentas eléctricas.
