On to the NFC previews,The NFC South is the Atlanta Falcons' division to lose as they return almost all their starters from a year ago and improved their running back situation with the acquisition of Steven Jackson. Can Matt Ryan and Co finally deliver a trip to the Superbowl for the Atlanta Falcons franchise? The New Orleans Saints will likely improve from this disastrous 2012-13 NFL Season with the return of head coach Sean Payton, but don't look for them to contend right away as they try to put all of the pieces of the puzzle back together. Drew Brees will have another monster fantasy year tho, so make sure to grab him early in your fantasy football drafts. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hope that Revis Island will migrate South as newly acquired franchise cornerstone Darrelle Revis looks healthy enough to start the season. Tampa Bay's chances will directly correlate to the improved play of 3rd year quarterback Josh Freeman as the defense can only do so much. Cam Newton will continue to dazzle in Carolina, but with very few weapons to throw to, don't expect the Panthers to make any noise this year even with what promises to be a better defensive front 7. Arguably the best division in all of the NFL is the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers and Colin Kaepernick will look to repeat as division champs, but will have to fight off a loaded Seattle Seahawks squad and their own phenom QB in Russell Wilson. If you were a GM of a new franchise, would you rather have Kaepernick or Wilson as your franchise QB? I'm sure Jim Harbuagh and Pete Carroll are happy to have either, but Kaepernick vs Wilson will decide the fate of the NFC West this season. Don't be surprised if the St. Louis Rams reincarnate the Greatest Show on Turf 2.0 with the additions of Jared Cook and rookie speedster Tavon Austin. The Rams could surprise and look to challenge for a wild card spot in the NFC. The Arizona Cardinals improved their options at QB with the acquisition of Carson Palmer and Tyron "The Honey Badger" Mathieu and Patrick Peterson will form one of the league's most exciting defensive backfields, but the Cards play in too tough of a division to realistically compete this season. The NFC North is probably the most unpredictable of all the divisions this year, as all four teams could contend for the division crown. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will look to score on teams early, and score they will as you can expect receivers Randall Cobb, James Jones, Jeremichael Finley and Jordy Nelson to all have productive seasons. Can Clay Matthews resurrect the Green Bay defense? The Minnesota Vikings will be counting on a second coming of Adrian "Purple Jesus" Peterson if they want to contend for the title. Can Peterson defy all odds and surpass Eric Dickerson for the most rushing yards in a single season this year? Will Christian Ponder's development stunt the growth of the Vikings young offense? Jay Cutler looks to rebound off a disappointing 2012 campaign that resulted in Lovie Smith being canned. Can Marc Tressman's unorthodox CFL offense pay huge dividends to Cutler and the Bears explosive offense or will Cutler fail to give a shit for the 3rd season in a row and down the Bears sinking ship? Can Calvin "Megatron" Johnson repeat his statistical masterpiece of an NFL season for the Detroit Lions this year? Finally, the NFC East which calls home to Kevin and George's two favorite teams, the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. Robert Griffin III looks prime to begin the season as the Week 1 starter, but can his twice surgically repaired ACL withold the beating of an entire NFL season? Can Alfred Morris prove that his rookie season in the NFL wasn't a fluke? For George's Eagles, everyone's been talking about the enormous potential for the most explosive offense in the NFL under former Oregon coach Chip Kelly's unorthodox offense. Can Michael Vick stay healthy enough to play all 16 games? If so, he has the weapons around him to score a ton of points with speedster DeSean Jackson and the shifty LeSean "Shady" McCoy in the backfield? The New York Giants remain a prime candidate for a bounce back season and in the Giants recent history that means a trip back to the Superbowl. Eli Manning has the weapons around him in Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, David Wilson and Brandon Myers to put points up on the board. Last but not least is America's team, the Dallas Cowboys and their recently re-signed franchise quarterback Tony Romo. Can Romo overcome all of his ghosts and lead the Cowboys deep into the postseason? Dez Bryant looks to have another monster year and the team seems to be transitioning well to new DC Monte Kiffin's vaunted Tampa 2 defense. If all things go as planned, be on the lookout for the Dallas Cowboys to be serious contenders in not only the NFC East, but the whole NFL.
