Life was paralyzed in Imphal on Wednesday owing to a dawn-to-dusk 'cease work' strike called by the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) in protest against the President withholding his assent to the 'Protection of Manipur People's (PMP) Bill, 2015.'. On August 31 last year, the Manipur assembly passed three bills, including PMP 2015, and the same were sent to the Centre....
