Randgold Resources (LSE: RRS, NASDAQ: GOLD) is a gold mining business operating mainly in Mali. Headquartered in Jersey, Channel Islands, it is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ stock exchange. Its London-traded shares are a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index and its NASDAQ-traded shares are a constituent of the NASDAQ-100 index.

The company was established in 1995 and was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1997. In 2000 it commissioned the Morila mine and in 2005 went on to commission the Loulo mine.^[2]

Operations[link]

The company's activities are concentrated on the following mines:

• Morila Gold Mine, Southern Mali
• Loulo mine, Western Mali
• Gounkoto Mine, Western Mali
• Kibali Mine (under construction)

Randgold also has a mine at Tongon in northern Ivory Coast; operations there have been disrupted by the political crisis in Ivory Coast.^[3]

Mark Bristow MBE (born 8 July 1962) is an English paralympic cyclist.^[1] Born in Nazeing near Waltham Abbey, Essex, Bristow currently resides in Sacramento, California.^[2] He took up took up the sport of disability cycling after being injured in a bike crash in San Francisco in September 1997. Bristow's is a computer administrator, and is related to the darts player, Eric Bristow.^[3]

Bristow received an MBE for services to disabled sport in the 2009 New Years Honours.^[4]
