Plot
It is the year 2000 and the World Global Union is in charge, although other countries are allowed to elect their own government leaders, as long as they support the Union. When Austria's newly-elected president, played by Josef Meinrad, makes his inauguration speech he declares Austria independence and issues an edict ending Austria's financial support for the Global Union. The Golbal Union President, played by Hilde Krahl, arrives in a flying-saucer with her retinue of world-soldiers, equipped with death-ray guns, to put an end to the rebellion. The president and the country are put on trial. The Austrian president recounts the country's' long battle for peace, and shows how Austria stopped the invasion of the Turks, and gave the world the operetta and the waltz. He organizes a mass parade with flora floats and a brass band---what else?---playing the Austrian Freedom Song in order to appeal to the court's impartiality. A 1943 document signed by Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin and assuring Austria of independence is presented. Basically, a satire on the post-WWII delay by the United Nations coming to agreement an Austrian independence.

The first 100 days of a presidential term took on symbolic significance during Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration, and the period is considered a benchmark to measure the early success of a president. Obama's 100th day in office was April 29, 2009. The "first 100 days" of a presidency is considered significant and important, and it goes all the way back to Roosevelt's time. When Obama gave his speech back in 2009 (and I'm sure we all remember it and wondered what in the world he meant by it), he was actually telling us about his next "100 days" at the beginning of his second term. That's exactly what he was saying. You can do a google search and type in first 100 days and the name of any president back to Roosevelt and you will find articles about their "first 100 days". The first 100 days of a presidency are important. So, when Obama said, and I quote: "Finally, I believe that my NEXT 'hundred days' will be so successful I will be able to complete them in 72 days. And on the 73rd day, I will rest," he was not talking about the second hundred days of his first term. He was talking about the NEXT "100 days", or the next "first 100 days" of his second term. That is exactly what he was saying. Nobody caught it. This is why they did the secret swearing-in ceremony on January 20, 2013, so that the 72nd day of his second term would be April 1, 2013, April Fool's Day. Obama himself has told us what is coming and he did it almost 4 years ago. People have been wondering for years what he was talking about. Now we know. This was no joke or slip of the tongue. It was intentional. It was another clue that they have given to us that we missed. Obama also said that in his second term, he will "win the war on Christmas". Both of these statements that he made pointed to Christmas and Easter. There is a war going on; it's a spiritual battle between the forces of light and darkness. Two of Satan's primary dates for worship used to be December 25 (birth of sun god) and Easter (Ishtar). These holidays used to be HIS days, when HE was worshiped around the world by many different cultures. Now, Christmas and Easter are about the birth of Jesus and resurrection of Jesus. These holidays are primarily times when Jesus is honored and worshiped by Christians around the world. There is a spiritual battle here. Remember to watch, "Rise of the Guardians" when it comes out on DVD this March. The Boogie Man represents Satan. Here are some quotes by the evil Boogie Man from the movie: "Maybe I want what you have, to be believed in. Maybe I'm tired of hiding under beds!" A hip check by Joe Vitale on Danny Briere sparked a brawl between players and incited a screaming match between the coaches of the two teams. Luckily, a Penguins fan harnessed the power of Hulkamania to help calm things down. It was a pretty brutal hit. Just watch Briere's head snap back and you can see what we're talking about. Likely what sparked the brawl and coaches standing on the boards to yell at each other was the game being a high-scoring slugfest already and tempers just boiled over. It's possible the NHL may take a look at the hit, as they've been cracking down on reckless and dangerous hits this season much moreso than usual. Our friend the Hulk Hogan look-alike was on the scene, just behind the glass in back of the Flyers bench. He utilized his deep understanding of conflict-resolution tactics to try and calm things down. In a display of solidarity, Flyers player Scott Hartnell returned the universal symbol of Hulk Hogan camaraderie, the "let me hear you" hand-twirling cup of the ear. Aw, best friends! Only the power of Hulkamania can truly bridge the divide between hometown fans and the opposing team. How fitting that this should happen on WrestleMania Sunday! We salute you, Hulk Hogan Guy. We are forever in your debt. "Hulk Hogan Guy" is apparently on Twitter, @MalkaMania71. Make sure to tell him how deeply you appreciate him. This year the company has announced the release of "Gmail Motion": Google has long participated in April Fools'—its first prank was back in 2000 when the company announced "MentalPlex," which invited users to simply visualize what they wanted to search for. There was also "Gmail Paper" in 2007, a supposed physical archive of all your email, "Custom Time" in 2008, allowing you to change the time stamp of your messages, and a 3-D version of Google Chrome in 2009. On April 1, 1957 the British television programme Panorama broadcast a three-minute segment about a bumper spaghetti harvest in southern Switzerland. The success of the crop was attributed both to an unusually mild winter and to the virtual disappearance of the spaghetti weevil. The audience heard Richard Dimbleby, the shows highly respected anchor, discussing the details of the spaghetti crop as they watched video footage of a Swiss family pulling pasta off spaghetti trees and placing it into baskets. The segment concluded with the assurance that, For those who love this dish, theres nothing like real, home-grown spaghetti. The Swiss Spaghetti Harvest hoax generated an enormous response. Hundreds of people phoned the BBC wanting to know how they could grow their own spaghetti tree. To this query the BBC diplomatically replied, Place a sprig of spaghetti in a tin of tomato sauce and hope for the best. To this day the Panorama broadcast remains one of the most famous and popular April Fools Day hoaxes of all time. It is also believed to be the first time the medium of television was used to stage an April Fools Day hoax. Since 1955 Panorama had been anchored by Richard Dimbleby, whose authoritative, commanding presence had made him one of the most revered public figures in Britain. If Dimbleby said it, people trusted that it was true. Which is one of the reasons why the spaghetti harvest hoax fooled so many viewers. His participation lent the hoax an air of unimpeachable authority. Almost no one else at the BBC knew about it. The segment was not mentioned at all in the pre-transmission publicity handouts. The line-up for that days show included a long segment about Archbishop Makarios, leader of the Greek Cypriots, and a clip of the Duke of Edinburgh attending the premiere of the war film The Yangtse Incident. The second-to-last segment was about a wine-tasting contest, and then it came time for the spaghetti harvest. Dimbleby, sitting on the set of Panorama, looked into the camera and without a trace of a smile said: And now from wine to food. We end Panorama tonight with a special report from the Swiss Alps. The screen cut away to the prepared footage. When it was all over, Dimbleby reappeared and said, Now we say goodnight, on this first day of April. He emphasized the final phrase. Panorama never attempted another April Fools Day spoof, despite numerous calls for a sequel. However, the hoax did inspire a number of similar stunts in its honour.
