Intrepid Aviation is an aviation museum based at North Weald Airfield in North Weald, Essex, England. It was founded by David Gilmour of the rock band Pink Floyd to own and operate his collection of historic aircraft.

Intrepid Aviation is an international aircraft leasing company which leases twin-engine, wide-body aircraft to airlines throughout the world. It has offices based in Dublin, Stamford, Connecticut, and Singapore.
Its portfolio consists of aircraft such as the Airbus A330, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Intrepid has purchase commitments from Airbus and Boeing with an accumulated value of $4.7 billion, including a 2007 order for 20 Airbus SAS A330-200 freighters, and a 2014 order for 6 Boeing 777-300ER. It is owned by Centerbridge Partners and Reservoir Capital Group.
Intrepid Aviation was founded by Ron Anderson in 1994. The company started by buying used passenger planes and having them converted into cargo freighters for leasing. During the 2008 Financial Crisis, Intrepid had to negotiate delaying deliveries by three years.
In 2014, the company filed for an IPO with a fundraising target of $150 million. The Company currently has equity commitments of up to $650 million from existing shareholders. Olaf Sachau is its CEO.
