Roger Waters
George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943) is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. In 1965, he co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd with drummer Nick Mason, keyboardist Rick Wright and guitarist, singer, and songwriter Syd Barrett. Waters initially served as the group's bassist, but following the departure of Barrett in 1968, he also became their lyricist, conceptual leader and co-lead vocalist.
Pink Floyd subsequently achieved international success with the concept albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. By the early 1980s, they had become one of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling acts in the history of popular music; as of 2013, they have sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, including 75 million units sold in the United States. Amid creative differences within the group, Waters left in 1985 and began a legal dispute with the remaining members over their intended use of the band's name and material. They settled out of court in 1987, and nearly eighteen years passed before he performed with them again.

Inflatable pigs on Roger Waters' tours
A giant inflatable pig has been one of the staple props of Pink Floyd live performances since 1977 when the album Animals was released. After Roger Waters departed Pink Floyd in 1985, he continued to use the pig as a show element during his solo live performances.
The Dark Side of the Moon Live tour 2006–2007
Roger Waters used inflatable pigs at many shows on his 2006–2007 tour The Dark Side of the Moon Live, specifically, when he performed the song "Sheep", concluding the first part of the show. The pigs used on tour were decorated with slogans and pieces of song lyrics, and with various drawings. During select performances at open-air venues the pig was released to "fly" away, a reference to the idiom "Pigs might fly".

Tours
Tours (French pronunciation: [tuʁ]) is a city located in the centre-west of France. It is the administrative centre of the Indre-et-Loire department and the largest city in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France (although it is not the capital, which is the region's second-largest city, Orléans). In 2012, the city of Tours had 134,978 inhabitants, while the population of the whole metropolitan area was 483,744.
Tours stands on the lower reaches of the River Loire, between Orléans and the Atlantic coast. The surrounding district, the traditional province of Touraine, is known for its wines, for the alleged perfection (as perceived by some speakers) of its local spoken French, and for the Battle of Tours, which took place in 732. The city is also the end-point of the annual Paris–Tours cycle race.
History
In Gallic times the city was important as a crossing point of the Loire. Becoming part of the Roman Empire during the 1st century AD, the city was named "Caesarodunum" ("hill of Caesar"). The name evolved in the 4th century when the original Gallic name, Turones, became first "Civitas Turonum" then "Tours". It was at this time that the amphitheatre of Tours, one of the five largest amphitheatres of the Empire, was built. Tours became the metropolis of the Roman province of Lugdunum towards 380–388, dominating the Loire Valley, Maine and Brittany. One of the outstanding figures of the history of the city was Saint Martin, second bishop who shared his coat with a naked beggar in Amiens. This incident and the importance of Martin in the medieval Christian West made Tours, and its position on the route of pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, a major centre during the Middle Ages.

It’s weird to think that had Stanislav not been

None of us would be alive
No one under the age of 37
Would have have been born at all.
It is acknowledged by all but the cretins amongst us
That nuclear arms have no value
It is also acknowledged that
They are a ticking bomb
And we ignore them at our peril
Accidents happen
The Stanislavs of this world are a rare breed.
We’ve been extraordinarily lucky.
If I ruled the world, I would heed the words of the wise
I would get rid of nuclear weapons

Liuxinniu Mutton Soup (刘信牛羊肉泡馍) - You can’t visit Xi’an without trying Yangrou Paomo (羊肉泡馍) - a lamb and flatbread soup that’s cooked over a rocket jet flame. This dish truly shows the diversity and cultural crossroads - at the beginning of the Silk Road - that Xi’an is! Price - 28 RMB ($3.99)
Ma'er Youzhi Suantang Dumplings (马二优质酸汤水饺) - Next door you'll find a dumpling jacuzzi where you can enjoy some of the best sour soup dumplings you’ll ever have in your life. Price - 16 RMB ($2.28)
Liuxiang Noodle Restaurant (柳巷面) - Next up on this Chinese food tour, we headed to this legendary restaurant for hand pulled noodles known as Gungun noodles. This was one of the best bowls of noodles I’ve had in a long time. Price - 22 RMB ($3.14)
Zhubashi Wangjiao BBQ (竹笆市旺角烤肉) - Finally, another famous food in Xi’an, China is cumin lamb bbq, and as they grill it, they sprinkle it with cumin and chili pepper - it’s some of the best lamb ever. Price - 129 RMB ($18.39) for everything

Xiaonanmen Morning Market (小南门市场) - We’re staring in the morning along the Wall of Xi’an at Xiaonanmen Morning Market. Here you’ll find a plethora of street food and colorful ingredients. We tried the spicy tofu bean curd - 3 RMB ($0.43), the very popular Xi'an pork burger (肘子夹馍) - 10 RMB ($1.43), sticky rice dessert (Zeng Gao (甑糕) - 6 RMB ($0.86), and finally fried vegetable pocket (菜合).

Before lockdown I had been working on a demo of a new version of ‘Comfortably Numb’ as an opener to our new show "This Is Not A Drill”. I pitched it a whole step down, in A Minor, to make it darker and arranged it with no solos, except over the outro, where there is a heartrendingly beautiful vocal solo from one of our new sisters Shanay Johnson.It’s intended as a wakeup call, and a bridge towards a kinder future with more talking to strangers, either in "The Bar” or just “Passing in the Street" and less slaughter “In Some Foreign Field.”Here it is. Roger Waters
George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943) is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. In 1965, he co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd with drummer Nick Mason, keyboardist Rick Wright and guitarist, singer, and songwriter Syd Barrett. Waters initially served as the group's bassist, but following the departure of Barrett in 1968, he also became their lyricist, conceptual leader and co-lead vocalist.
Pink Floyd subsequently achieved international success with the concept albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. By the early 1980s, they had become one of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling acts in the history of popular music; as of 2013, they have sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, including 75 million units sold in the United States. Amid creative differences within the group, Waters left in 1985 and began a legal dispute with the remaining members over their intended use of the band's name and material. They settled out of court in 1987, and nearly eighteen years passed before he performed with them again.

XI’AN, CHINA - Today we’re going on an ultimate 14 hour Chinese street food tour in the ancient city of Xi’an, China. If you love to eat, this city in China is a food paradise, from bustling outdoor markets, to the Muslim quarter, and never ending chili oil, we’re about to taste some of the best Chinese food that Xi’an has to offer.
Xiaonanmen Morning Market (小南门市场) - We’re staring in the morning along the Wall of Xi’an at Xiaonanmen Morning Market. Here you’ll find a plethora of street food and colorful ingredients. We tried the spicy tofu bean curd - 3 RMB ($0.43), the very popular Xi'an pork burger (肘子夹馍) - 10 RMB ($1.43), sticky rice dessert (Zeng Gao (甑糕) - 6 RMB ($0.86), and finally fried vegetable pocket (菜合).
Luzhi Liangfen (老何家卤汁凉粉) - Next up we’re continuing this Chinese street food tour in the Muslim Quarter of Xi’an and trying a very unique dish of bean jelly noodles - Price - 17 RMB ($2.42).
Lao Jiajia Pepper Soup (老贾家胡辣汤) - Although it doesn’t look like much, hulatang (胡辣汤) - hot pepper soup, is extremely flavorful and this is one of the best bowls in Xi’an.
Liuxinniu Mutton Soup (刘信牛羊肉泡馍) - You can’t visit Xi’an without trying Yangrou Paomo (羊肉泡馍) - a lamb and flatbread soup that’s cooked over a rocket jet flame. This dish truly shows the diversity and cultural crossroads - at the beginning of the Silk Road - that Xi’an is! Price - 28 RMB ($3.99)
Ma'er Youzhi Suantang Dumplings (马二优质酸汤水饺) - Next door you'll find a dumpling jacuzzi where you can enjoy some of the best sour soup dumplings you’ll ever have in your life. Price - 16 RMB ($2.28)
Liuxiang Noodle Restaurant (柳巷面) - Next up on this Chinese food tour, we headed to this legendary restaurant for hand pulled noodles known as Gungun noodles. This was one of the best bowls of noodles I’ve had in a long time. Price - 22 RMB ($3.14)
Zhubashi Wangjiao BBQ (竹笆市旺角烤肉) - Finally, another famous food in Xi’an, China is cumin lamb bbq, and as they grill it, they sprinkle it with cumin and chili pepper - it’s some of the best lamb ever. Price - 129 RMB ($18.39) for everything
