Writer: Jamie Linden
Starring: Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Chris Pratt

Plot: "10 Years" follows a group of friends on the night of their high school reunion who, a decade later, still haven't quite grown up. Channing Tatum plays Jake, who is deeply in love with his girlfriend (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and ready to propose—until he runs into his high school flame (Rosario Dawson) for the first time in ten years. Jake's friend Cully (played by funnyman Chris Pratt) married his cheerleader girlfriend (Ari Graynor), and has been looking forward to the reunion so he can finally apologize to all the classmates he bullied in high school. However, after a few too many drinks, the jock-turned-family man ends up reverting back to his old ways instead. Meanwhile, longtime rivals Marty (Justin Long) and A.J (Max Minghella) spend the night still trying to one-up each other to impress thecoolest girl in class (Lynn Collins), who now has a secret. The famous one of the group, Reeves (Oscar Isaac) is now well-known musician, but is still too shy to talk to the high school crush (Kate Mara) who inspired his one hit wonder.

Feds Sentence Aaron Sandusky to 10 Years for Medical Marijuana
The "FREE AARON SANDUSKY PETITION" is available here: http://wh.gov/Rhtw
Medical marijuana dispensary owner Aaron Sandusky was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday after being convicted of two felonies related to the production and distribution of marijuana in October 2012. Reason TV previously has covered Sandusky's case in great detail here.
"Aaron was in full compliance with California law, but the federal government says that California law is irrelevant," said Sandusky's lawyer Roger Diamond. Diamond is filing an appeal on Sandusky's behalf and hopes to take the case to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Judge Percy Anderson presided over Sandusky's case and used the sentencing hearing as an opportunity to lecture the defendant on the "rule of law."
"I'm going to take a stand for the rule of law, is what I'm going to do in this case," Anderson said.
He also mentioned that he found "disturbing" Sandusky's "refusal to take responsibility" for his lawbreaking activities and that Sandusky had proven that he was "incapable or unwilling" to conform with the law or norms of society.
"He's kind of lost his way about what's right and what's wrong--his moral compass," Anderson said.
Sandusky also spoke in court, but he did not express any remorse for providing medical marijuana to willing customers within the legal framework established by the state of California. Instead, he apologized to the business partners who had been indicted alongside him (they all pled out), their families, and his own family and friends for all that the legal ordeal had put them through. He also took the opportunity to lambast the conduct of the federal government in prosecuting this case.
"There are no winners here. Not the state. Not the federal government. And not the [medical marijuana] patients," said Sandusky. "This is the federal government taking action against the will of the people."
After Sandusky spoke, the judge asked if there were any victims who wished to be heard. Nobody stepped forward.
Aaron Sandusky has requested to serve out his sentence at Victorville Federal Correctional Complex. He has also started a petition at whitehouse.gov and is hoping for a presidential pardon.
Watch Reason TV's full coverage of the day in the video above.
Approximately 4 minutes.
Produced by Zach Weissmueller. Music by Case Newsom. Additional footage by Tracy Oppenheimer.

The Arctic Light
Follow me on https://facebook.com/TSOphotography for more photos, videos & updates.
This was filmed between 29th April and 10th May 2011 in the Arctic, on
the archipelago Lofoten in Norway.
My favorite natural phenomenon is one I do not even know the name of, even after talking to meteorologists and astrophysicists I am none the wiser. What I am talking about I have decided to call The Arctic Light and it is a natural phenomenon occurring 2-4 weeks before you can see the Midnight Sun.
The Sunset and Sunrise are connected in one magnificent show of color and light lasting from 8 to 12 hours. The sun is barely going below the horizon before coming up again. This is the most colorful light that I know, and the main reason I have been going up there for the last 4 years, at the exact
same time of year, to photograph. Based on previous experience, I knew this was going to be a very
difficult trip. Having lost a couple of cameras and some other equipment up there before, it was crucial to bring an extra set of everything. I also
made sure I had plenty of time in case something went wrong.
If you can imagine roping down mountain cliffs, or jumping around on slippery rocks covered in seaweed with 2 tripods, a rail, a controller,
camera, lenses, filters and rigging for 4-5 hour long sequences at a time, and then
having to calculate the rise and fall of the tides in order to capture the essence - it all proved bit of a challenge.
And almost as if planned, the trip would turn out to become very
difficult indeed. I had numerous setbacks including: airline lost my
luggage, struggling to swim ashore after falling into the Arctic sea: twice, breaking lenses, filters, tripod, computer, losing the whole dolly rig and controller into the sea, and even falling off a rather tall rock and ending
up in the hospital. As much as I wanted to give up, the best way Out is
always “Through”. I am glad I stuck it through though because there were some amazing sunrises waiting. At 1:06 you see a single scene from day to night to day which is from 9pm to 7am. Think about that for a minute.. 10 hours with light like that.
I asked the very talented Marika Takeuchi to specifically compose and
perform a song for this movie, and what she came up with is absolutely remarkable. Thank you very much Marika!

The Longest Way 1.0 - walk through China and grow a beard! - TIMELAPSE
In 2008, I walked through China - one year, more than 4500km. All the while, I let my hair and my beard grow. This is the resulting video.
Add me on FB: http://www.facebook.com/crehage Or drop by on my blog: http://www.thelongestway.com
Additional info:
- I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking for now.
- All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
- I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
- Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
- This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.
- If you liked the music I used in this video, get it here:
The Kingpins - "L'Aventurier" http://bit.ly/RXOMaz

- The core of this project is in actually my blog where I have posted my extensive travel diary, starting from day 1 (Nov 9th 2007) and describing every single day until the end one year later.

10 Years to Life for Medical Marijuana: The Trial of Aaron Sandusky
FOR THOSE IN THE COMMENTS ASKING WHERE TO HELP, AARON SANDUSKY HAS SENT US A LINK TO HIS LEGAL FUND: http://aaronsanduskylegalfund.com/home
"This is a Constitutional battle, and we're going to defend our rights," says Aaron Sandusky, the owner of a medical marijuana dispensary in Upland, California who now faces federal drug trafficking charges even though he was operating within California state law.
Reason.tv first profiled Sandusky in late 2011 in the midst of a federal crackdown on marijuana dispensaries across California, which occurred despite repeated promises from the Obama administration to lay off operators compliant with state law (Incidentally, the city of Upland, which initiated the legal action against G3, admitted in court that Sandusky was operating within state law). During the production of that video, Sandusky's storefront and grow house were raided, his assets seized and his product destroyed. But Sandusky was undeterred and joined a lawsuit with several other dispensary owners, challenging the right of city governments to outright ban dispensaries. After a favorable ruling from an appellate court, Sandusky re-opened, and the city of Upland was powerless to stop him. But the Feds were not happy with this outcome.
Sandusky was arrested and charged with six counts of drug trafficking, some of which could carry a life sentence. He's spent the last seven weeks in a county prison, just awaiting a bond hearing. He finally was granted bail last Friday and is now out on house arrest, where he awaits an October trial to decide his fate. He agreed to sit down with Reason.tv for an interview to discuss his case, the state of medical marijuana in this country, and why this is a cause for which he's willing to risk it all.
"If I have to go to jail for 20 years defending this, then so be it," says Sandusky.
