Heavy's day just got A LOT better :D - Source Filmmaker.
Yes, yes! Heavy deserved some love, even if its 1 day behind valentine. Originally planned to come out on valentine but yeah you know how it is. And before that i only wanted to try out the sfmphys scripts. Fun facts: There are 400 and 1 sandviches used. (only slightly harmed during the making of this film) It took me proximally 5 hours to render. The sandviches falling and bouncing was pre-calculated with sfmphys (github.com The particles around the special sandvich are from PLDX and take a LONG TIME to render. Music: Tendency (ft. This is a film I made after some adventures underground with Steve Duncan (http://www.undercity.org) last summer. We also have a teaser video which you can watch on my vimeo page (http://vimeo.com/5752275).
For more information about the video and our other adventures please contact Andrew Wonder (Director/Cinematographer) at andrewwonder@mac.com.
Steve and I just completed another underground expedition with Norwegian explorer Erling Kagge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erling_Kagge). It was featured in a three page article on the front page of the NY Times metro section and was written by Alan Feuer (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/nyregion/02underground.html). We were also covered by NPR's Jacki Lyden whose report will be aired on 1/2/11 and posted on NPR's site (http://www.npr.org/2011/01/02/132482428/into-the-tunnels-exploring-the-underside-of-nyc).
Shot on a canon 5d mkii with canon 24 f/1.4 (version 1) with the zacuto rapid fire, Zoom H4N and a sennheiser g2 wireless lav. The zacuto was really great at being there when I needed it but also staying out of the way.

Practical Problems [SFM]
Please comment and like the video here. steamcommunity.com Thanks to all who supported this through the saxxys. As many of you know this video was made long before the saxxys were announced and was never really intended to be part of it. I make videos as I enjoy the process and evoking emotion and thats it. Some people consider mo cap as cheating. I see it as an easier means to acheive my goals. How you go about making the piece doesn't matter. It's the end product which does. I'm grateful for even getting nominated for the saxxys. All the winners are well deserved. Entering this was a last minute choice due to the large amount of people encouraging me to do so. Due to the people adding me on steam. I decided to make a group. Feel free to join for gaming and updates on my vids. steamcommunity.com The music featured is Any Trash Professor Abacus by the Torpedo Boyz available here!: itunes.apple.com Thanks to everyone for the great feedback and comments from the various places this has been circulating around. It means a lot. At this rate i'll be jumping back into SFM soon to explore some other ideas I had. As many of you may know I've been pretty busy as of late. But after getting an infected foot I had a bit of free time. I had a plan to do this video since TF2 first came out but I wanted to wait for Source Filmmaker to go official. 130 hours in SFM and Hammer later, here it is. As my foot healed I was getting less and less time to work on it. So I got it to a point where ...
