Matthew Morrison - "Still Got Tonight"
Written by: Kris Allen, Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton. "Still Got Tonight" is the 2nd single off Matthew Morrison's self-titled album. Currently available on iTunes: itun.es Lyrics: If you're not home, I'll sit here on your doorstep Button up my coat and wait We'll go upstairs close the curtains and we're all set to pick up where we left again There's question marks hanging over us But we won't give the time of day Oh Cause all we got is these few stolen seconds And we can't let them go to waste The stars collide We come back to life We come back to life The sparks will fly One look in your eyes My hearts open wide I know times running out now But we'll hold back the sun somehow See the sky? we've still got tonight We've still got tonight Come 9am I'll pack another suitcase Leave you in your bed so warm I'll do my best not to wake you but it's useless Can't tiptoe round this no more It's gonna get much harder Before it gets better baby and that's for sure mmm Just say you'll wait for my footsteps on the staircase And I will walk back through this door Chorus So keep your eyes open There's no time to close them Just hold on So tight now We still got tonight Chorus If all we got is these few stolen seconds We can't let em go to waste

Steve & Stevie - Sunshine On Snow.mpg
Steve Kipner and Steve Groves went to London and formed the duo STEVE & STEVIE. They recorded an album together, which was released on the small Toast label. There was one single released off that album. While in London they met Steve Kipner's old friend Maurice Gibb, who recommended that they should work for the Robert Stigwood Organisation. After Maurice Gibb had recommended that Steve Kipner and Steve Groves should work together with the Robert Stigwood Organisation, Stigwood bought out the contract from the small record company and the duo was free to start working with Polydor. Maurice Gibb offered to produce an album of the duo together with his brother in law Billy Lawrie. The first single release by the duo, who called themselves TIN TIN was "Only Ladies Play Croquet". The single was not hit, but the second release "Toast And Marmalade For Tea" was to become the biggest hit of TIN TIN.

Tin Tin Toast and Marmalade for Tea
Memorable but seldom heard 1970 hit from Tin Tin. Toast and Marmalade for Tea is a song written by Australian musician Steve Groves. It was a Top 20 US hit for Grove's group Tin Tin in 1970. 1970: TIN TIN - Toast And Marmalade For Tea (Steve Groves) b/w Manhattan Woman (Steve Kipner / Steve Groves) (Single; Polydor 2058 023) The song's distinct distorted piano melody was discovered accidentally when an engineer leaned on a tape machine creating the sound. Tin Tin obtained their recording deal with the help of Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees; Gibb produced their album and "Toast and Marmalade for Tea." The song was released on the Atco label.1970: TIN TIN - Toast And Marmalade For Tea (Steve Groves) b/w Manhattan Woman (Steve Kipner / Steve Groves)
