TalkBack w/ Wajahat Khan & Lt. Gen. Hameed Gul Ep10 Pt1
"Right Wing" in Pakistan means a lot of things, but no one defines the right wing more than Lt. General (Retd) Hameed Gul. The man considered by many to be either the most accurate political analyst in the land, or as the most out of touch conspiracy theorist. Gul stands by his single largest achievement, that of being the head of Pakistan's ISI, the famous (or infamous) Intelligence organization also known as the "state within the state" of the Islamic Republic.

Army to keep Afghanistan combat vehicles 06.02.13
The Army has announced it is keeping the vehicles bought for Afghanistan even once Britain's role there is over. The new Commander Land Forces has confirmed that Mastiffs, Jackals, Huskies and Panthers are all here to stay. Some will simply fill a gap until a new Utility Vehicle is designed and put into service, while it looks like others will stay in the army even longer. Lieutenant General Adrian Bradshaw made the announcement to an industry audience at the International Armoured Vehicles trade fair.

Lt. General (Retired) Javed Nasir (DG ISI) filed a Case against Jang Group
Unreported Terrorism Case against Pakistan's Media King Special SAT Report www.satribune.com Issue No 22, Dec 23-29, 2002 ISSN:1684-2075 satribune.com LAHORE: A former Chief of ISI has demanded death penalty under anti-terrorism laws for Pakistan's virtual media "Ted Turner", and three other senior journalists, in an Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, and the charge against them is carrying out "terrorist acts with their pen", according to court documents. In this historic but bizarre case of its kind, the ex-ISI Chief, a Lieutenant General of the Pakistan Army, has submitted a signed petition which in itself is a document revealing some of the most well guarded national secrets, which should never have been revealed, and could get the General hanged for committing sedition if taken up by a fair and judicious court. See other Story. The most intriguing part of this story is that this Anti Terrorism Court of General Pervez Musharraf not only started hearing the case, it even completed testimony of five prosecution witnesses without even sending a notice to the defendants. Later when the Judge decided that he had jurisdiction to hear the case, he summoned the defendants, who raised immediate objections. He then started hearing their arguments. The latest hearing of the case was held on December 19, with earlier hearings held on Dec 3 and 14, 2002. The complainant in this case is Lt. General (Retired) Javed Nasir, who headed the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) from March 1992 ...

UFO News - Retired Turkish Air Force Lt-General Reveals UFO Encounter Over Balikesir, Turkey in 1983
During a television broadcast, retired Turkish Air Force Lieutenant-General Erdogan Karakus reveals a UFO "dogfight" which occurred in the area of Balikesir, Turkey in 1983. He said himself and seven others in four jets encountered the strange unknown object for fifteen minutes and learned later that the object was tracked by the Istanbul Ataturk Airport tower. "We decided to put our lights out. The UFO was so close to us. We saw nothing but a bright yellow light. Then it came to my left for a few moments, then in no time it was gone!" www.hurriyetdailynews.com Calling up a live television show Saturday during a heated debate about UFOs, Retired Gen. Erdoğan Karakuş said he and seven other pilots experienced a UFO encounter over the western province of Balıkesir in May 1983. The UFOs were levitating using an unknown technique, Karakuş said, explaining that he was part of a group of eight pilots flying four Turkish jets to the southern city of Adana for a drill when one of the men spotted something in the air. "They moved to my left side when I also turned my [plane's] lights off, the retired general said, adding that shortly afterward, four to five lights resembling plane lights appeared. "Then they disappeared with a sudden maneuver."

CIA Archives: Rafael Trujillo Interview - Leader of the Dominican Republic - Government History
Lieutenant General Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Martínez (5 June 1929 -- 27 December 1969 in Madrid, Spain), better known as Ramfis Trujillo, was the son of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo Molina and María Martínez. Like his close friend (and for a time brother-in-law) Porfirio Rubirosa, he was regarded by most as a reckless and spoiled playboy, though he is also remembered for his ruthlessness and cruelty. He took control of the Dominican Republic on 30 May 1961, after his father was assassinated. In the mid 1950s, he was sent to study at the US Army's Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. While there, and with Rubirosa as his liaison, Ramfis skipped class and took off for Hollywood. He had affairs with several Hollywood starlets, most notably with Kim Novak. Ramfis became notorious for buying luxury cars, mink coats, and jewelry for beautiful girls during his stay. Ramfis's flashy gift-giving made the national news and members of the United States Congress were openly questioned by the press about what real use was being made of foreign aid given to the Dominican Republic. At one point a bumper sticker began appearing on the cars of girls in Los Angeles that read: "THIS CAR WAS NOT A GIFT FROM RAMFIS TRUJILLO". Since his attendance at the military school was erratic at best, he was denied his diploma after completion. This fact greatly infuriated, and at the same time, humiliated his father. When he returned home, his wife Octavia filed for divorce. His ...
