Visegrad Genocidal Rape
For more on Visegrad Genocide: www.genocideinvisegrad.wordpress.com Peter Mass, author of Love thy Neighbour, wrote an article in Washingtion Post on 27 December 1992 entitled The rapes in Bosnia: A Muslim Schoolgirls Account were he interviews Mersiha, a young Muslim girl rape victim from Visegrad who was raped in Vilina Vlas by Milan Lukic. The girls were taken to the Vilina Vlas motel, which has been described by the Slavic Muslim-led Bosnian government as one of the Serbs alleged rape motels. Mersiha was locked in one room and her friend was locked in another. Mersihas younger sister, Emina, was put in a room across the hall. A few hours later, Mersiha heard her sister moaning and sobbing. She never saw her again. The warlord, Milan Lukic, who has been well-known locally for years, came into Mersihas room, put a table in front of the door and told her to undress. He said that if I didnt do what he wanted, I would never go home, Mersiha recalled, speaking in a nervous but steady voice. Then he ordered me to take off my clothes. I didnt want to do that. He said I must, that it would be better to take my clothes off myself, or else he would do it and he would be violent. Mersiha paused in her narration. She tightened her hold on the hand of her older sister, who is a student in Zenica and sat next to her throughout the interview, which was conducted in this government-held city in an empty pizzeria decorated with a few paltry Christmas ornaments. Mersiha stared hard at a ...

Justice for Visegrad: Milan&Sredoje; Lukic Judgement-PART 1
By Aaron Gray-Block THE HAGUE (Reuters) - Bosnian Serb cousins Milan and Sredoje Lukic were convicted by the Yugoslavia war crimes tribunal on Monday of burning dozens of Bosnian Muslims alive in the country's 1992-1995 war. Milan Lukic, 41, who prosecutors said led a Serb paramilitary group known as the "White Eagles" or "Avengers," was sentenced by the tribunal in The Hague to life in prison for killing at least 119 Bosnians in two incidents in June 1992. Sredoje Lukic, 48, who prosecutors said was also a member of the unit, was given 30 years imprisonment. The court ruled it had not been proved that he was present at one of the attacks. Both men had pleaded not guilty to all charges and said they were not present in the eastern Bosnian town of Visegrad at the time of the crimes. Defense lawyers had requested acquittals. "The perpetration by Milan Lukic and Sredoje Lukic of crimes in this case is characterized by a callous and vicious disregard for human life," Judge Patrick Robinson said. The court found about 59 Bosnian Muslims were burned alive in a house set ablaze with an accelerant and an explosive, while at least 60 people died after being barricaded inside another home before grenades were thrown into the building. Judge Robinson said the court found Milan Lukic guilty of both incidents, adding he played a dominant role in the attacks in that he personally closed the door of one of the houses, set them on fire and shot at people who tried to escape. Ustiprača - Višegrad (countless tunnels)
Beautiful late afternoon ride downstream Drina river, passing through countless tunnels on the road from Ustiprača to Višegrad in Republic of Srpska, Bosnia. In the end, there is a bridge, and that very bridge featured in the novel 'Na Drini Ćuprija' authored by Ivo Andrić, who received the Nobel Prize on Literature for his work in 1961.

Trip to Visegrád - Kirándulás Visegrádra
Visegrád (pronounced [ˈviʃɛɡraːd], Slovak: Vyšehrad) is a small castle town in Pest County, Hungary. Situated north of Budapest on the right bank of the Danube in the Danube Bend, Visegrád has a population 1654 as of 2001. Visegrád is famous for the remains of the Early Renaissance summer palace of King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary and the medieval citadel. Royal Palace The first royal house on this site was built by King Charles I of Hungary after 1325. In the second half of the 14th century, this was enlarged into a palace by his son, King Louis I of Hungary. In the last third of the 14th century, King Louis and his successor Sigismund of Luxembourg had the majority of the earlier buildings dismantled and created a new, sumptuous palace complex, the extensive ruins of which are still visible today. The palace complex was laid out on a square ground plan measuring 123 x 123 m. A garden adjoined to it from the north and a Franciscan friary, founded by King Sigismund in 1424, from the south. In the time of Louis I and Sigismund, the palace was the official residence of the kings of Hungary until about 1405-08. Between 1477-84 Matthias Corvinus had the palace complex reconstructed in late Gothic style. The Italian Renaissance architectural style was used for decoration, the first time the style appeared in Europe outside Italy. After the Ottoman Turks' siege in 1544 the palace fell into ruins, and by the 18th century it was completely covered by earth. Its excavation began ...
