Showing you how to make miniature fruit using polymer clay in this tutorial. You can turn any of these mini fruits into stud or dangle earrings, charms, necklaces, etc.
1. Bananas - A banana being peeled open, and a bunch of miniature bananas.
The peel color is yellow mixed with translucent, and the banana color is white mixed with translucent polymer clay. If you want to make the bananas look even more realistic you could texture the banana, and the white part of the folded down banana peel.
2. Watermelon - The center color is translucent red from Premo, and the next color is translucent mixed with a small amount of white polymer clay, and the rind is a bright green made by Premo.
3. Apples, Pears & Oranges - The orange is made from orange polymer clay. The apple cane center is translucent mixed with white, and the apple skin is made from a Wasabi green color (Premo), mixed with translucent.
4. Grapes - I mixed translucent with purple to make the grape color. If you wanted to make green grapes you could mix a small amount of the Wasabi green color with a larger amount of translucent polymer clay.
Have Fun!
XOXO,
Toni

Gravity Goo Slime Balls Polymers Kit ~ Incredible Science
http://www.incrediblescience.com
Find us on Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/IncredibleScienceToys The Gravity Goo kit will amaze you with more than 6 fun filled, science based experiments. With this amazing kit, you'll mix up your own batch of gravity-defying goo that flows uphill as it "self-siphons" from one cup to another! Use the fizzing color tablets to make the "goo" in all kinds of colors, grow the spheres, even make them disappear!
Also included are the amazing "Clear Spheres" and colorful "Garbled Marbles" that absorb up to 300 times their weight in water to become slimy jelly balls that bounce. You'll learn to connect these spherical wonders to your Gravity Goo so that it takes them along for the ride as it sneaks uphill.
Some of the fun activities you will do with this kit are: Self-Siphoning Goo - Colorful Gravity Goo - Growing Spheres - Garbled Goo - Color Spheres - Disappearing Spheres and more!
Gravity Goo is an incredible polymer that acts in a very unusual and fun way.
Gravity Goo combines the sponge-like properties of polyacrylamide polymers and the molecular linking properties of acrylic co-polymers. Those are basically big words that mean that your Gravity Goo is going to soak up lots of water and you'll find that it likes to stick together.

Scented Halloween Cookie Charms ( Polymer Clay )
I love Halloween, so I was inspired to make these scented cookies charms (made with polymer clay) which I eventually turned into a key chain.
DOUGH:
The "dough" was made by mixing 1/4 parts Ecru (Premo Brand) or any Tan Clay, with 1/4 parts any white polymer clay, and with 2/4 parts any translucent polymer clay.
SCENT:
Honey Almond Fragrance (For Soap) : I bought this fragrance from Micheal's Craft Store in the soap making department. I mixed in 2 drops of the honey almond scent into the clay and mixed it in by hand.
Once the clay is baked and the paint is dry, you can paint on more of the liquid fragrance. The baked clay with soak up the fragrance and make the scent last.
HEADPINS: I added the headpins before I baked them. After I baked the charms I took out the headpins and added E600 Industrial Strength Glue to each headpin before placing it back in the charm. This helps the headpin to stay in place.
BAKING:
I let the acrylic paint dry before I baked the charms. I baked them for 20 minutes at 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
GLOSSY GLAZE:
I painted the frosting with 3 coats of Sculpey Glossy Glaze. I let the glaze dry before painting another layer. This made the paint lines smoother and helped the charms to look even more realistic.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Polymer clay (Wikipedia definition)
♥Polymer clay is a sculptable material based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It usually contains no clay minerals, and is only called "clay" because its texture and working properties resemble those of mineral clay. It is sold in craft, hobby, and art stores, and is used by artists, hobbyists, and children.
♥To make it hard/permanent it must be baked in an oven. The time and temperature varies slightly from each brand and it will always say on the package. I normally bake mine at 275°F at anywhere between 20-40 minutes depending on how thick the charm is. I also bake in a toaster oven that I use only for baking clay.
♥Yes I bake the clay before painting it, wire wrapping and glazing.
♥Everything I use can be bought at your local craft store. I go to Micheals to get mine.

Self-healing polymer fixes scratches
Researchers at Case Western Reserve University say fixing scratches on cars and furniture may be cheap and easy to do yourself in the not-too-distant future. Together with partners in the USA and Switzerland, they have developed a polymer-based material that can heal itself when placed under ultraviolet light for less than a minute.

Get this Water Balz experiment and many others at http://www.incrediblescience.com Have a ball with this fun polymer science experiment! Watch in amazement as your polymer balls which starts out smaller than a small marble grows to the size of a racquetball when placed in water-all in less than a day! Comes in an array of vibrant colors that hold true, even when hydrated. They roll, and even though they do not bounce, they will explode when thrown or dropped! Drop the balls in water and imagine the endless possibilities as they grow before your eyes!
1) Learn about the incredible properties of polymers as you grow the "balls".
2)Discuss hydrophilic properties and superabsorbent polymers.
3)Determine how fast evaporation will take place and then start the process again. 4)Hypothesize what will happen once the water evaporates from them.
5)Discuss color, light and classification and how these water absorbers can play a huge part in our environment.
6)Experiment with milk, vegetable oil, or salt water. and more...
