Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss speaks about Judaism, Israel and Zionism. He shares the view that the state of Israel goes against the teachings of the Torah and that Judaism has been used and manipulated for political aims at the expense of the Palestinian people. This talk was filmed at the Colorado Muslim Society Mosque on October 24th, 2013One of the most respected leaders in the Anti-Zionism Orthodox Jewish Movement is Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss. He is associated with the Neturei Karta International. On June 10, 2007, in Washington, DC, he attended a rally on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, in support of freedom for the Palestinian people. I interviewed him at that site. He said: "We suffer with the Palestinian people." The Rabbi, a fearless fighter for the truth, also sharply criticized the Zionist Movement. On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, the American Israel Political Affairs Committee, (AIPAC), the cutting edge of the powerful Israel Lobby, held its annual parley in Washington, D.C. Activists were outside the downtown Convention Center expressing their strong vocal opposition to the event. One of the protesters was Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss. He is associated with Neturei Karta International, an Orthodox Jewish organization, which is adamantly opposed to the political ideology of Zionism. Rabbi Weiss, a spokesman for Karta International, was sharply critical of AIPAC, the Zionists and Zionism in his remarks. He was also supportive of the cause of Palestine and of the Palestinian people. Rabbi Weiss ripped Zionist Israel for its occupation of Palestine and its harsh treatment of the Palestinian people. For background, please see: http://www.nkusa.org/.Yisroel Dovid Weiss (born 1956), a United States Haredi Rabbi, is an activist and the spokesman for Neturei Karta International, an anti-Zionist grouping of Haredi Jews. Based in Monsey, New York, he believes that observant Jews should peacefully oppose the existence of the Israeli state: "It would be forbidden for us to have a State, even if it would be in a land that is desolate and uninhabited." In late 2006 Weiss was condemned by other anti-Zionists, such the Edah HaChareidis and Satmar, for attending a Holocaust conference in Tehran. Weiss often speaks at rallies and conferences in the United States and internationally, criticising Israel and Zionism. In 2001 he attended the UN-organized World Conference against Racism in Durban, South Africa as part of the Islamic Human Rights Commission delegation.[9] During the conference, US and Israeli delegates walked out over an unsuccessful attempt to condemn Israel for racism. In December 2006 Weiss spoke at the International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust, held by the Iranian government in Tehran which was described by media sources such as NPR as a gathering of Holocaust deniers. In his five minute speech, Rabbi Weiss addressed the issue of holocaust denial as well: Now maybe I can say that at the discussion of the holocaust, I may be the representative, the voice of the people who died in the holocaust because my grandparents died there. They were killed in Auschwitz. My parents were from Hungary. My father escaped and his parents remained. He wasn't able to get them out of Hungary and they died in Auschwitz as were other relatives and all the communities that they knew. So to say that they didn't die, to me you can not say that. I am the living remnant of the people who died in the holocaust and I am here, I believe sent by God, to humbly say, simply to speak to the people here and say, 'You should know that the Jewish people died, and do not try to say that it did not happen. They did die!' There are people throughout the Jewish communities, still alive in their seventies and eighties and every one of them will tell you their stories. It is something which you can not refute, but that being said, it doesn't mean that the holocaust is a tool to use to oppress other people.[2] Weiss states that th

Kabbalas Ponim for Satmar Dayan Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Menashe Friedman on the streets of the Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem, Israel on February 06 2012,
Mea She'arim was established in 1874 as the fifth settlement outside the walls of the Old City by a building society of 100 shareholders. Pooling their resources, the society members purchased a tract of land outside the Old City, which was severely overcrowded and plagued by poor sanitation, and built a new neighborhood with the goal of improving their standards of living. Street plan Conrad Schick, a German Christian architect and missionary, drew up a plan for Mea She'arim in 1846. Joseph Rivlin, one of the heads of the Jewish community in Jerusalem, and a Christian Arab from Bethlehem were the contractors. The work was carried out by both Jewish and non-Jewish workers. Mea She'arim was structured as a courtyard neighborhood. It was surrounded by a wall, with gates that were locked every evening. By October 1880, 100 apartments were ready for occupancy and a lottery was held to assign them to families. By the turn of the century, there were 300 houses, a flour mill and a bakery. Conrad Schick planned for open green space in each courtyard, but cowsheds were built instead. Mea She'arim was the first quarter in Jerusalem to have street lights.

New Straits/Business Times 2013-08-27Faith I'm sure, there's something wanting but I can't place it
take what you lost if there's a sliver of hope I'm on it
though these words alone seem empty
each one's carved a place inside me
I won't break again so easy
not now I have found there's always more
Say what you want, but there's a point where the concrete takes you
Down and below it ruminates and drags you under
Though these words alone seem empty
each one's carved a place inside me
I won't break again so easy
not now I have found there's always more
Faith I'm sure, there's something wanting but I can't place it
take what you lost if there's a sliver of hope I'm on it
though these words alone seem empty
each one's carved a place inside me
I won't break again so easy
not now I have found there's always more
Take my hand, you can break my heart, come on
Opening Lyrics
