Feels So Good - Chuck Mangione
Off the 1978 album of the same name, the song hit #4 in June 1978. The song was nominated for Song of the Year, but lost out to Billy Joel's "Just The Way You Are". Chuck plays a brass instrument that resembles a trumpet, but is actually called a "flugelhorn" which is considered by many to be a part of the sax family of instruments. Chuck's band was hit with a double loss on 2/12/09 when guitarst Coleman Mellett and saxophonist Gerry Niewood both died in a plane crash just outside of Buffalo, NY.

Chuck Mangione-Feels So Good (Full Version)
I know I already have this song out on my other Youtube channel, and I had no idea that after 33 years the song is still very popular...thanks in part to the TV show King Of The Hill (according to numerous comments). I wanted to re-edit the video and improve the sound quality due to the few screeches on the other one. Nonetheless, here is the full-length clearer version, and it 'feels so good' to present it to you..enjoy!!

Chuck Mangione - Live Palaisdes Festivals Hall Cannes 1989
For four decades, Chuck's boundless energy, unabashed enthusiasm, and pure joy have characterized his love affair with music and the resulting admiration of his audience. He joined Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, assuming the trumpet chair that had belonged to such great players as Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan, and Freddie Hubbard, before going solo and receiving a GRAMMY nomination for Land of Make Believe. His album Feels So Good became a worldwide mega hit thanks to its self-titled single, which features one of the most recognized melodies in the world and he has continued recording and performing music of a standard that has made him an influential contemporary Jazz icon.

Chuck Mangione - Hill Where The Lord Hides - from FRIENDS and LOVE
Hill Where The Lord Hides - Chuck Mangione was invited to conduct the FRIENDS AND LOVE CONCERT with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra* in May of 1970, and was given full rein of the affair. The result is contained in this album - a concert which Chuck composed for a full symphony orchestra and six superbly accomplished soloists, imaginatively staged with special visual effects, and performed before a standing-room-only crowd of over 3500."'Friends & Love was a gathering of musicians from a variety of backgrounds, each one of whom contributed to the whole." DON POTTER and BAT McGRATH appear through the courtesy of EPIC RECORDS.

Feels So Good - Chuck Mangione (1977)
"Feels So Good" is the title of a 1977 jazz-pop instrumental song by the American flugelhorn player Chuck Mangione. It was both written and produced by Mangione and is the title track from his 1977 album. The album version of "Feels So Good" runs over nine minutes, but an edit trimming the piece to 3 minutes 28 seconds was released as a single in early 1978. The single reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June of that year after spending a week atop the Billboard easy listening chart in May. The recording was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the category Record of the Year at the ceremony held in 1979, losing out to "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel. Charles Frank 'Chuck' Mangione (born November 29, 1940) is an American flugelhorn player and composer who first achieved international success with "Feels So Good". Mangione has released more than thirty albums since 1960. A 1980 issue of "Current Biography" magazine called "Feels So Good" the most recognized tune since "Michelle" by The Beatles. Recently, smooth jazz stations throughout the United States have recognized "Feels So Good" as their all-time number one song.
