Inside Track

Inside Track was an award winning British property investment information company that went into administration in April 2008 following a sharp downturn in the UK property market. Its sister company, Instant Access Properties, which sold properties to Inside Track clients, entered administration in September 2008, primarily as a result of the global economic crisis.

When the business went into administration, a large number of investors lost their investments, and they were contemplating group legal action against the former directors. However, there appears not to have been any successful legal action to date, and there have been warnings that some advertised legal action groups could themselves be fraudulent. Jim Moore sold himself the IAP client database before IAP went into voluntary liquidation and this database seems to be used by companies such as Delta Litigation to cold call clients to get them to sign up to take legal action in Spain.

The company advertised in newspapers and through mailshots, inviting customers to attend a free property investment session, but some adverts were censured by the Advertising Standards Authority for exaggerated claims for wealth generation. The company offer free seminars that claimed to give insights into property investment, with a view to getting attendees to a paid two-day course. Some industry experts stated that the seminars were a 'big, fat waste of time and money...almost all the information taught, costing hundreds/thousands of pounds, could be found for free, or at little cost, on the internet or in books'.

The Inside Track

The Inside Track was a Canadian radio series, which formerly aired on CBC Radio One. A documentary and interview series exploring social and cultural issues in the world of sports, the program was hosted by Mark Lee, Mary Hynes and Robin Brown at different times during its run.

One of the show's most famous episodes was "The Last Closet", an hour-long special which aired on October 16, 1993. Exploring issues of homophobia in sports, the show was most noted for its interviews with two gay Canadian athletes who still felt the need to disguise their voices due to the risks of coming out while active in sports; when they both did later come out, Mark Leduc and Mark Tewksbury were revealed to have been the speakers. Other figures interviewed in the episode included Ed Gallagher, a former football player from the United States who became an anti-homophobia activist after an unsuccessful suicide attempt motivated by his inner conflict over his sexuality left him paraplegic, and Jim Buzinski, a cofounder of the LGBT sports organization Outsports. Outsports would later name the episode one of the 100 most important moments in LGBT sports history.

Chris Standring

Chris Standring (born 1960 in Buckinghamshire, England) is a British-born soul jazz guitarist known for his heavy use of 1970s-style musical nuances. Before launching his own solo career with his 1998 album "Velvet", Standring represented a third of the band SolarSystem, a one-shot project that combined elements of jazz and hip-hop.

His "Hipsway" was co-produced with Rodney Lee in 2000. "Groovalicious" followed in 2003, then "Soul Express" in 2006. Love & Paragraphs (2008) spawned the title track hit radio single. Chris's 2010 album 'Blue Bolero' spawned the hit single "Bossa Blue" which went to No. 1 at contemporary radio across the USA and stayed there for nine consecutive weeks. Bossa Blue was named 2010 Billboard contemporary jazz track of the year. Electric Wonderland is released to the world March 20, 2012.
