The Hudson Theatre is a former Broadway theater located at 141 West 44th Street, in midtown Manhattan, New York. Today the Hudson functions as a conference center and television studio. It is owned by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.

The theater was designed by architects J.B. McElfatrick, Israels & Harder in 1903. It was built by theatrical producer Henry B. Harris and was managed by his wife after his death on the RMS Titanic. From the 1930s through the 1950s the theater was used as a radio and television studio. The theater was owned by NBC in the 1950s, and in 1954 was home to the original version of The Tonight Show with host Steve Allen. Bought by developer Abraham Hirschfeld in 1956, and after returning to use as a legitimate theater in the 1960s, in 1974 it was converted into a movie house. Finally, in 1980 it became the Savoy rock club.

In 1987, the building received landmark status. When owner Henry Macklowe developed the surrounding lots into a new luxury hotel, he incorporated the landmarked theater, using it as a conference center and auditorium.Millennium & Copthorne Hotels bought the hotel and the Hudson in 1995.

Pablo Tell Schreiber (born April 26, 1978) is an American actor known for his dramatic stage work and for his portrayal of the Polish-American character Nick Sobotka on HBO's Baltimore drug-related crime drama The Wire. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Awake and Sing! on Broadway. He has also performed audio work for books on tape.

His father, Tell Schreiber, was an actor, as is his half-brother Liev. His mother, Lorraine Reaveley, is a body-based psychotherapist. Schreiber attended Carnegie Mellon University.

He appeared in the movies The Manchurian Candidate, Lords of Dogtown and Happythankyoumoreplease. He also had a guest role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and appeared in the FX series Lights Out.

In 2011, Schreiber starred in the Off-Broadway play Gruesome Playground Injuries at Second Stage Theatre. He appears on the 7th season of Weeds as Nancy Botwin's drug supplier.

Meredith Hagner (born May 31, 1987) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for originating the role of Liberty Ciccone in the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns from 2008–2010.

Born in New York and raised in Houston, Texas and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she attended Chapel Hill High School, graduating in 2005. She attended the Boston Conservatory for a year, but moved to New York City after being offered acting opportunities. While in New York, she was cast in television and radio advertisements for 3M, Acuvue, JCPenney, Levi's, Radio Shack, Subway, and Truth.

As the World Turns marked her scripted television debut, in which she portrayed Liberty Ciccone, the illegitimate daughter of Brad Snyder, the small town's local celebrity. She ended her two year run as the character in March 2010. The actress is reportedly set to explore options outside of daytime television.

She reportedly quit the soap opera to devote her time and talents to the FX show Lights Out.

She also appears in a recurring guest starring role in the medical comedy Royal Pains on USA Network as Libby, a teenager with an extreme case of cyberchondria.

Joseph William "Joe" Frazier (January 12, 1944 – November 7, 2011), also known as Smokin' Joe, was an American professional boxer and Olympic and Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, whose professional career lasted from 1965 to 1976, with a one-fight comeback in 1981.

Frazier emerged as the top contender in the late 1960s, defeating opponents that included Jerry Quarry, Oscar Bonavena, Buster Mathis, Eddie Machen, Doug Jones, George Chuvalo and Jimmy Ellis en route to becoming Undisputed Heavyweight Champion in 1970, and followed up by defeating Muhammad Ali on points in the highly-anticipated "Fight of the Century" in 1971. Two years later Frazier lost his title when he was knocked out by George Foreman. He fought on, beating Joe Bugner, losing a rematch to Ali and beating Quarry and Ellis again.

Frazier's last world title challenge came in 1975, but he was beaten by Ali in their brutal rubbermatch. He retired in 1976 following a second loss to Foreman. He made a comeback in 1981, fighting just once, before retiring for good. The International Boxing Research Organization (IBRO) rates Frazier among the ten greatest heavyweights of all time. He was an inductee of both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

Walter Stacy Keach Jr. (born June 2, 1941) is an American actor and narrator. He is most famous for his dramatic roles; however, he has done narration work in educational programming on PBS and the Discovery Channel, as well as some comedy (particularly his role in the Fox sitcom Titus as Ken, the hard-drinking, chain-smoking, womanizing father of comedian Christopher Titus) and musical roles.

Keach was born in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Mary Cain (née Peckham), an actress, and Walter Stacy Keach, a theater director, drama teacher, and actor. His brother James Keach is an actor and television director. Keach graduated from Van Nuys High School in June 1959, where he was class president, then earned two BA degrees at the University of California, Berkeley (1963), one in English, the other in Dramatic Art. He earned an M.F.A. at the Yale School of Drama and was a Fulbright Scholar at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

In 1966 Keach played the title role, (with his take on Lyndon Johnson being MacBeth) in MacBird! an Off Broadway spoof at the Village Gate. Then in 1967, he was cast, again Off Broadway, in George Tabori's The Niggerlovers with Morgan Freeman (in his first ever acting job). To this day, Freeman credits Keach with teaching him the most about acting. Keach first appeared on Broadway in 1969 as Buffalo Bill in Indians by Arthur Kopit. Early in his career, he was credited as Stacy Keach, Jr. to distinguish himself from his father Stacy Keach, Sr. He played the lead actor in The Nude Paper Sermon an avant-garde musical theatre piece for media presentation, commissioned by Nonesuch Records by composer Eric Salzman.
