Randall "Randy" Laureat Cross (born April 25, 1954), is a football analyst and former NFL offensive lineman. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in July 2011.
Cross, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California. He was renowned as a high school shot put champion in the Southern California CIF during the years 1970–1972. In 1972, he was CIF California State Meet champion in the event, defeating future world record holder Terry Albritton and future WWF wrestling star Jim Neidhart both from Newport Harbor High School in the process. He heaved the 12 pound high school shot 67' 6.5" which remains the Crespi school and stadium record.
At UCLA, Cross was an All-America selection. As a senior he helped lead his team to the 1976 Rose Bowl championship over top-ranked Ohio State . Cross began his career as a Center, but was moved to Right Guard for his junior year before playing both Guard and Center as senior on a rare rotating nine man offensive line. On this rotating line Cross started at RG on the 1st unit and then moved to Center when the next group hit the field. He was named First-team All-America in 1975. He was also a First-team All-Conference selection in 1975 In his career he was a starter in 28 of 34 career games including his final 23. Randy Cross (and many other UCLA linemen) also played collegiate rugby for the school. Randy was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
Randy is both a given name, and a pet name in the English language, popular in North America. It is primarily a masculine name. It was originally derived from the names Randall, Randolf, Randolph, Bertrand and also Andrew. Randi is approximately the feminine equivalent of the name Randy.
A cross is a geometrical figure consisting of two lines or bars perpendicular to each other, dividing one or two of the lines in half. The lines usually run vertically and horizontally; if they run obliquely, the design is technically termed a saltire, although the arms of a saltire need not meet at right angles.
The cross is one of the most ancient human symbols, and has been used by many religions, most notably Christianity. It may be seen as a division of the world into four elements (Chevalier, 1997) or cardinal points, or alternately as the union of the concepts of divinity, the vertical line, and the world, the horizontal line (Koch, 1955).
The word cross comes ultimately from Latin crux, a Roman torture device used for crucifixion, via Old Irish cros. The word was introduced to English in the 10th century as the term for the instrument of the torturous execution of Jesus as described in the New Testament, gradually replacing the earlier word rood. Crux is possibly derived from Phoenician. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia cross does not come from crux but form the Latin curio, "to torment".
Gone Too Far may refer to:
Impossible Princess (retitled Kylie Minogue in the UK and Europe) is the sixth studio album by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue, released on 22 October 1997. Because the A&R department of her label, Deconstruction Records, were not present throughout the majority of the album's production process, song writing and production were primarily handled by Minogue, in collaboration with producers Dave Ball, Ingo Vauk, Brothers in Rhythm, Manic Street Preachers and Rob Dougan.
Minogue started work on the album in October 1995 when she returned from her trips with French photographer and her then-boyfriend Stéphane Sednaoui. A release with a mixture of different musical genres and styles, the album features several songs employing themes of self-reflection, relationships and insecurities. The album cover was photographed by Sednaoui and the album title was derived from the book Poems to Break the Harts of Impossible Princesses (1994) by Billy Childish and from a lyric in the song "Dreams". The tracks "Some Kind of Bliss", "Did It Again", "Breathe" and "Cowboy Style" served as the album's official singles, while the other songs from the album served as promotional singles in Australia and New Zealand.

A bomb drops and no-one stirs
On a lazy summers evening
Seated with a man
She knows she shouldn't be with
But in his eyes, the lies surprise
Something she's been needing
A certain touch within her voice
Can tell you what she's feelin'
I want you
Need you
Yeah, I want you
I need you
And I'll be lyin' here waitin'
Hopin' lov'll come my way
(Save it for a rainy day)
But if the sun's still shinin'
I'll save it for another day
(Save it for a rainy day)
A door slams and suddenly
She's awoken from her dreams
Of late goodbye's and shadowed eyes
Those crazy summer feelings
I want you
Need you
Yeah, I want you
I need you
And I'll be lyin' here waitin'
Hopin' lov'll come my way
(Save it for a rainy day)
But if the sun's still shinin'
I'll save it for another day
(Save it for a rainy day)
Save it for a rainy day
I want you
Need you
Yeah, I want you
I'll need you
And I've been lyin' here waitin',
Hopin' lov'd come my way
(Save it for a rainy day)
But if the sun's still shinin'
I'll save it for another day
(Save it for a rainy day)
Yeah I'll be lyin' here waitin'
Hopin' lov'd come my way
(Save it for a rainy day)
But if the sun's still shinin'
I'll save it for another day
(Save it for a rainy day)
Save it for a rainy day
(Save it for a rainy day)
Save it for a rainy day
(Save it for a rainy day)
I'll save it for a rainy day...
