Isharon Isharon Mein Dil Leneh Waleh -Kashmir Ki Kali(1964)-Sharmila Tagore & Shammi Kapoor
ishaaro ishaaro mein dil lene waaleh
bataa ye hunar tune sikhaa kahaan seh
nigaaho nigaaho mein jaadoo chalaanaa
meree jaan sikhaa hain tum ne jahaan seh
mere dil ko tum bhaa gaye, meree kyaa thee is mein khataa
muze jis ne tadapaa diyaa, yahee thee wo jaalim adaa
ye raanzaa kee baate, ye majanoo ke kisseh
alag to naheen hain meree daasataa seh
mohabbat jo karate hain wo, mohabbat jataate nahee
dhadakane apanee dil kee kabhee, kisee ko sunaate nahee
majaa kyaa rahaa jab ke khud kar diyaa ho
mohabbat kaa ijahaar apane jubaan seh
nigaaho nigaaho mein jaadoo chalaanaa
meree jaan sikhaa hain tum ne jahaan seh
maanaa ke jaana-e-jahaa laakhon mein tum ek ho
humaaree nigaahon kee bhee kuchh to magar daad doh
bahaaron ko bhee naaj jis fool par thaa
wahee fool hum ne chunaa gulasitaa se
lyrics english translation
ishaaro ishaaro mein dil lene waaleh
the one who stole my heart with only plain actions
bataa ye hunar tune sikhaa kahaan seh
my love where did you learn this from ?
nigaaho nigaaho mein jaadoo chalaanaah
making miracles only through meeting of the eyes
mere jaan sikhaa hain tum ne jahaan seh
my love , I learnt it from where you learnt to do so
mere dil ko tum bhaa gaye, mere kyaa the is mein khataa
u impressed my heart, what had i done
muze jis ne tadapaa diyaa, yahe the wo jaalim adaa
the one who tortured me, was these actions itself
yahe the wo jaalim adaa
was these actions itself
ye raanzaa ke baate, ye majanoo ke kisseh
the story of the lover, the tales of majnoo ' another lover's story
alag to nahen hain mere daasataa seh
is not at all different from my story
ishaaro ishaaro mein dil lene waaleh
the one who stole my heart with only plain actions
bataa ye hunar tune sikhaa kahaan seh
my love where did you learn this from ?
mohabat jo karate hain wo, mohabat jataate nahe
people who love, they do not show it
dhadakane apane dil ke kabhe, kise ko sunaate nahe
the heartbeats of our heart, we don't let others hear them
kise ko sunaate nahe
we dont let others hear them
majaa kyaa rahaa jab ke khud kar diyaa ho
what is the fun when we do it ourselves
mohabat kaa ijahaar apane jubaan seh
the proposal of our love by ourselves
nigaaho nigaaho mein jaadoo chalaanaah
making miracles only through meeting of the eyes
mere jaan sikhaa hain tum ne jahaan seh
my love , I learnt it from where you learnt to do so
maanaa ke jaanayejahaa laakhon mein tum yek ho
i agree that your one among the rest of the world
humaare ke nigaahon ke bhe kuch to magar daad doh
u have to praise me for the good choice i have
kuch to magar daad doh
u have to praise me for the good choice i have
bahaaron ko bhe naaj jis fool par thaa
even the eyes of this world had an eye on this flower
wahe fool hum ne chunaa gulasitaa seh
that is the same flower i have chosen from the garden
ishaaro ishaaro mein dil lene waaleh
the one who stole my heart with only plain actions

English Translation of this song:
You could never easily forget me
Yes, you could never easily forget me
Whenever you listen to my song
You will always hum along
Yes, you could not easily forget what we had
Those moonlit spring nights and all the love-filled conversations we had
Will come back to you as a sweet memory
Whenever you think of me.
Yes, you could not forget me.
I held your face in my hands as if it was a delicate rose.
And you took the support of my arms.
How can you forget those romantic evenings.
Yes, you could never forget me...
I remember there were times when I would feel restless that we weren't together.
If you think I'm lying, then ask your heart
Because if I say what your heart would tell you, you may become upset.
Yes, you simply cannot forget me so easily
Whenever you listen to my song,
You will start to hum along too
Yes, you could never forget me...

::: वैधानिक चेतावनी :::

Raat keh Humsafar-An evening in Paris(1967)
Shammi Kapoor (Hindi: शम्मी कपूर , Urdu: شمّی کپُور), born October 21, 1931, is an actor in Bollywood films. The majority of his most successful pictures were made in the late 1950s and 1960s. He was born Shamsher Raj Kapoor in Mumbai to film and theatre actor Prithviraj Kapoor. Shammi was the second of three sons born to Prithviraj (the other two being Raj Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor), all of whom were, like their father, successful Bollywood actors. Kapoor started out with serious roles but with Filmistan's Nasir Hussain directed Tumsa Nahin Dekha (1957) opposite Ameeta and Dil Deke Dekho (1959) with Asha Parekh, he attained the image of a light hearted playboy. With Junglee (1961) his new image was cemented and subsequent films were all in this genre. He particularly chose Mohammed Rafi as his playback voice and Rafi was also his friend. In fact, it was not Rafi who shouted the "Yahoo" in the song that was famously picturized on Shammi in the huge hit film Junglee (1961) - it was Prayag Raj. Though in his early career he had often played second fiddle to established heroines like Madhubala in films such as Rail Ka Dibba (1953), producers now loved pairing Shammi with new heroines, but only three became huge stars: Asha Parekh, Saira Banu, and Sharmila Tagore. Of all his heroines, he said that Sharmila Tagore, Rajshree, and Asha Parekh were easy to work with.[1] He and Asha Parekh were paired together in four films, the most successful being the murder mystery Teesri Manzil (1966). However, tragedy struck during the filming of Teesri Manzil (1966), when Shammi's first wife, actress Geeta Bali, died of small pox, leaving him with two small children. It led to a failed romance with Mumtaz, his co-star from Brahmchari (1968).

Ashok and Kishore (Shammi Kapoor and Sanjeev Kumar respectively) are two room-mates, living in a hostel. While Ashok takes to crime and dishonesty, Kishore is honest to a fault. When Kishore finds that his dad (Rajan Mehra) has been taking bribes, he leaves home angrily. Shammi Kapoor (Hindi: शम्मी कपूर , Urdu: شمّی کپُور), born 21 October 1931, is an actor in Hindi language films.
Though he was born in Mumbai, he spent a major portion of his childhood in Kolkata, where his father was involved with New Theatres Studios, acting in films.
Though he started out with serious films, comedy films gradually became his forte. Movies like Tumsa Nahin Dekha (his first big hit) and Dil Deke Dekho established him in the roles of a light hearted playboy. Some time later, he starred in Junglee (1961) and his new image got consolidated. Majority of his successful films belonged to the same genre. Mohammed Rafi, one of Kapoors friends, was his most preferred choice as his playback voice.
In his initial years in Bollywood, Kapoor appeared with established heroines like Madhubala, playing second fiddle to them. With time, he started being paired more often with new heroines. Out of them, Asha Parekh, Saira Banu, and Sharmila Tagore became huge stars in the future. In the first half of the 1960s, Kapoor was seen in successful films like Professor, China Town, Char Dil Char Rahen, Raat ke Raahi, Dil Tera Diwana, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, China Town, Kashmir Ki Kali, Bluff Master, Janwar and Rajkumar. Although nominated before, in 1968, he received the first Filmfare Award of his career, for Best Actor (Brahmachari).
At the height of his career, Shammi Kapoor - tall, athletic, lively, fair complexioned, green-eyed and with handsome features- was a heartthrob and his good looks and physique complemented his image.
In the 1970s, Kapoors weight problem proved an obstacle in his path of success and ended his career as a romantic hero. One of his last hits, in which he played the lead role, was Andaz (1971). With time, he moved to career roles and acted in films like Zameer, Hero and Vidhaata. In 1974, he donned the hat of a director and made Manoranjan, a film based on Irma La Douce. Two years later, he made Bandalbaaz (1976). However, both the films failed to create magic at the box office. His last appearance, as a character actor, was in the delayed 2006 film, Sandwich.
