Child star: the shirley temple story (full movie)
This is a movie biopic made about the most famous child star of all time, Shirley temple, I DON'T OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS FILM, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGMENT INTENDED. Please rate, comment and subsribe to my new channel.
one of the most popular storys about shirley temple of all time is that she was the very first choice to play dorothy in the wizard of oz, well guess what, she wasnt. it was late 1937 and walt disney had just made snow white and the seven dwarfs and proved to evryone that fantasy films can be sucsessful the most popular fantasy story book in 1937 was the wonderful wizard of oz written by l frank baum, sam goldwen owned the properties and everyone in hollywood wanted it, disney wanted it as a follow up to snow white, fox wanted it for shirley temple, universal wanted it for deanna durban, but it was Auther freed who wanted it for Judy garland, by early 1938, judy had made 6 movies and the public really seem to like her but not alot was happening, author freed decided it was time for judy to become a star and started searching for just the right movie, he sugested the wizard of oz and promiced judy she would play the singing dorothy, but the newyork office had 2nd thoughts, this was going to be a very exspencive movie and they wanted to make sure theyed get there monys back, and they didnt think that judy could be a box office sinsation, they knew for a fact that shirley temple was a box office sinsation, she was for 5 yrs running, so MGM told fox the idea of using shirley for their film, and fox refussed to loan her out for the amount of time it would take to make the wizard of oz,
and the most biggest myths of all is that MGM agreed to make a trade with fox that if MGM can have shirley then fox can have gene harlow and clark gable, THATS NOT TRUE!!!!! gene harlow past away in mid 1937 and author freed didnt actually get the rights to oz until feb 1938,
judy was always the studios first choice to play dorothy, they just sugested shirley for box office insureance, im tired of people pretending and fantisizing about shirley temple as dorothy, it never happend so why bother, besides do you know how many movies shirleys instantly rememberd for, judy made more movies then shirley and shes only instantly rememberd for the wizard of oz, could shirley have been a better dorothy then judy THE WORLD WILL NEVER KNOW so just leave it alone.

Shirley Temple's SAG Life Achievement Award Presentation-2006
The rest of Shirley Temple receiving the SAG Life Achievement award in 2006. I did not include Dakota Fanning part as it has already been posted, and it got the video under 10min.
I believe this is Shirley's last public appearance. She was 77 at the time(almost 78). She is now 84!
Hateful comments towards Jaime Lee or Shirley, or any celebrity will be removed.

The Little Princess (1939) Shirley Temple directed by Walter Lang Full Film
The Little Princess is a 1939 American drama film directed by Walter Lang. The screenplay by Ethel Hill and Walter Ferris is based on the novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The film was the first Shirley Temple movie to be filmed completely in Technicolor. It was also her last major success as a child star at 20th Century Fox, and remains one of her most well-known films.
Although it maintained the novel's Victorian London setting, the film introduced several new characters and storylines and used the Second Boer War and the Siege of Mafeking as a backdrop to the action. Temple and Treacher had a musical number together, performing the song "Knocked 'Em in the Old Kent Road;" Temple also appeared in an extended ballet sequence. The film's ending was drastically different from the book.

How to Do the Shirley Temple in Tap Dance

This move was named after
Shirley Temple, the famous Academy Award-winning actress who is also known for her dance moves.
1. Start with your hands on your hips to help maintain your balance and pick up your right leg. Do a
flap with your right leg, which is a brush forward to the side with your right toe followed by a step down on to the ball of your right toe.
2. Instead of dropping your right heel, pick up your left heel and quickly drop it. After your left heel drops, now drop your right heel.
3. Now, shift your weight to your right leg so you can pick up your left foot. Lift your left toe off the floor and do a quick spank backward with your left toe.
4. After the spank, do another
heel drop with your right foot.
5. Step down on the top of your left toe and cross it behind your body.
6. Finally, finish the combination with another heel drop with your right foot.
*Repeat these steps starting with a flap with your left leg this time.
