Adam Alexi-Malle (born 24 September 1964) is an Italian actor, singer, dancer and musician born in Siena, Italy. His Italian (Sardinian) father and Spanish-Arab mother later emigrated to London, United Kingdom, and finally to the United States. As musician, he began performing at the age of 9, intent on a career as a concert pianist and violinist having trained with Dorothy DeLay and Raphael Bronstein and at the Conservatoire de Paris under the auspices of the Fulbright committee's Harriet Hale Woolley Fellowship as well as the Moscow Conservatory and The Juilliard School. And as a ballet dancer, as a student at the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. In the early 1990s, following a course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, he began his acting career.
Known for his work on stage and screen, he has starred in such films as Bowfinger, The Man Who Wasn't There, Hidalgo, Celebrity and Failure To Launch and on television in numerous guest-starring roles including The Sopranos, The West Wing, Alias and 24, and on stage in the Tony Award-winning/nominated Broadway productions of Titanic (musical) and The Threepenny Opera. He starred opposite Sam Rockwell and Cara Seymour in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway premiere of Mike Leigh's Goose-Pimples with The New Group theatre in New York City garnering nominations as Outstanding Featured Actor with both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם, Arabic: آدم, Syriac: ܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ) is a figure in the Book of Genesis, the Qur'an and the Kitáb-i-Íqán. According to the creation myth of Abrahamic religions, he is the first human. In the Genesis creation narratives, he was created by Yahweh-Elohim ("Yahweh-God", the god of Israel), though the term "adam" can refer to both the first individual person, as well as to the general creation of humankind. Christian churches differ on how they view Adam's subsequent behavior (often called the Fall of man), and to the consequences that those actions had on the rest of humanity. Christian and Jewish teachings sometimes hold Adam and Eve (the first woman) to a different level of responsibility for the Fall, though Islamic teaching holds both equally responsible. In addition, Islam holds that Adam was eventually forgiven, while Christianity holds that redemption occurred only later through the sacrifice of God's son, Jesus Christ. Bahá'í Faith, Islam and some Christian denominations consider Adam to be the first Prophet.
Edward Regan "Eddie" Murphy (born April 3, 1961) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, singer, director, and musician.
Box office takes from Murphy's films make him the second-highest grossing actor in the United States. He was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984 and has worked as a stand-up comedian. He was ranked #10 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.
He has received Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances in 48 Hrs, Beverly Hills Cop series, Trading Places, and The Nutty Professor. In 2007, he won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of soul singer James "Thunder" Early in Dreamgirls.
Eddie Murphy's work as a voice actor includes Thurgood Stubbs in The PJs, Donkey in the Shrek series and the dragon Mushu in Disney's Mulan. In some of his films, he plays multiple roles in addition to his main character, intended as a tribute to one of his idols Peter Sellers, who played multiple roles in Dr. Strangelove and elsewhere. Murphy has played multiple roles in Coming to America, Wes Craven's Vampire In Brooklyn, the Nutty Professor films (where he played the title role in two incarnations, plus his father, brother, mother, and grandmother), Bowfinger, Norbit, and Meet Dave.
Stephen Glenn "Steve" Martin (born August 14, 1945) is an American actor, comedian, author, playwright, producer, musician and composer. Martin came to public notice as a writer for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later became a frequent guest on The Tonight Show. In the 1970s, Martin performed his offbeat, absurdist comedy routines before packed houses on national tours. In 2004, Comedy Central ranked Martin at sixth place in a list of the 100 greatest stand-up comics.
Since the 1980s, having branched away from stand-up comedy, Martin has become a successful actor in both comedic and dramatic roles, as well as an author, playwright, pianist, and banjo player, eventually earning Emmy, Grammy, and American Comedy awards, among other honors.
Heather Joan Graham (born January 29, 1970) is an American actress. Following early roles in License to Drive, Drugstore Cowboy and Twin Peaks, she won critical acclaim for her role as Rollergirl in 1997's Boogie Nights, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. She has since become known as a Hollywood sex symbol and has appeared in films such as Lost In Space, Bowfinger, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, From Hell, Anger Management, Bobby and Hangover, TheThe Hangover.
Heather Graham was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the older of two children. Her family is of "three quarters Irish" descent, with her father's side from County Cork. Her younger sister, Aimee Graham, is also an actress and writer. Their mother, Joan (née Bransfield), is a teacher and author of children's books. Their father, James Graham, is a retired FBI agent.
