  Gotham Comedy Club
  Gotham Comedy Club is a venue for stand-up comedy in New York City. The comedy club is located on 208 West 23rd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues in Chelsea.
  Several movies and television shows have been filmed at the club. Performers include Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Lewis Black, Chris Rock, Dane Cook, Artie Lange, Colin Quinn, Greg Giraldo, Tom Papa, Adam Ferrara, Jay Mohr, Dean Edwards, Pablo Francisco, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Iglesias and Colin Kane.
  Native New Yorkers Chris Mazzilli and Michael Reisman opened the original Gotham Comedy Club in May 1996 at a 3,300-square-foot (310 m²) space at 34 West 22nd Street (now occupied by The Metropolitan Room).
  In May 2006 the Club moved two blocks southwest to a 1929 structure adjacent to the Hotel Chelsea. The new 10,000-square-foot (930 m²) venue has an Art Deco design with walls painted in red tones and hallways painted "Gotham Yellow." The entry walls feature photographer Dan Dion photographs of Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Lewis Black, and Chris Rock.

  Verwood

  Verwood is a town and civil parish in Dorset, England. The town lies 15 miles (24 km) north of Bournemouth and 19 miles (31 km) north of Poole. The town has a population of 14,820 according to latest figures (2009) from Dorset County Council, making it the largest town in Dorset without an upper school in terms of population.
  Verwood was originally recorded as Beau Bois in 1288, and it was not until 1329 that it got the name Verwood, which developed from Fairwood or The Fayrewood.
  The East Dorset Pottery Industry, known collectively as “VERWOOD POTTERY” thrived from earliest time on the clay soils of the neighbourhood and with ample firing material close at hand. The major production was of domestic earthenware although finer and more unusual pieces have been found from earlier times. In the latter days ornamental and novelty items were produced
  Until the end of their useful life, the methods of production had not varied from Roman times, all the processes being carried out with no mechanisation or electrification. For example, the clay was always trodden by foot and not mixed in a pug mill. The wheel was turned by an assistant with a pole or handle. The kilns were wood fired. As such the Crossroads Pottery, then the last remaining in the area, attracted national and local newspaper attention in the early to mid 20th century.

• Gotham Chopra
  Gotham Chopra (born Gautama Chopra on February 23, 1975) is an American author. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Deepak Chopra. He attended Belmont Hill School. Gotham was an undergraduate student at Columbia University.
  Around the time he began his career at Channel One News, Chopra changed the spelling of his given name from "Gautama" to "Gotham." Chopra said that he changed the spelling because he was tired of "Gautama" being mispronounced in the United States. The pronunciation of both versions is the same. He is a partner in Chopra Media, with his sister, Mallika Chopra. Together they launched IntentBlog and Virgin Comics. In September 2008, Gotham and Virgin Comics co-founder, Sharad Devarajan led a management buyout of Virgin Comics and renamed the Company, Liquid Comics.
  On July 3, 2009, Chopra gave an interview on CNN's Larry King Live at Neverland Ranch saying that he knew pop star Michael Jackson through his father for over two decades. He had also written about his friendship with Jackson on June 26, 2009 in the Huffington Post. He wrote about Jackson calling him at his dorm when he was a student at Columbia, asking him to help write lyrics for songs and about working with Jackson at his hotel suite in Manhattan as an informal "lyrical advisor." He recalled how Jackson called him at night "in a panic" after he had just married Lisa Marie Presley and asked him if he had any sex advice. He said he first met Jackson when he was 15 and spent days at the Neverland Ranch with his friends, sisters and cousins. He recalled Jackson's visits to his parents' house and spending a summer with Jackson on the Dangerous Tour. He said their relationship continued after they both became fathers and recalled going to Jackson's house a few years ago with his wife Candice (a physician) to help when Michael Jackson had an accidental fall. He said parenting was the focus of his last conversations with Jackson in the last few months before Jackson's death.

• Rich Gotham
  Rich Gotham is an alumnus of Providence College and resident of Medfield, Massachusetts. On April 18, 2007 he was named President of the National Basketball Association team Boston Celtics. He had prior success in his career as an executive within the online media and Internet technology industries.
  After graduating from Milford High School in 1982 Gotham attended Providence College in Rhode Island. He graduated in 1986, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. An active alumni, he is currently a member of the Providence College Boston President's Council, Varsity Athletics Board, and the Vision Team for the Men's Basketball program.
  Gotham spent five years holding senior management positions with the global internet media company Lycos. His last job with the company was the Vice-President of Sales and Corporate Development. Prior to that, he was Vice-President of Channel Sales and Market Development with FTP Software.
  Gotham left Lycos in April 2003, and joined the Celtics as the organization's Executive Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Corporate Development. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in June 2006.
