Border
In the year 1971 the Indian army has been sent to a deserted place in Longewala region of Punjab to war with the Pakistani Army. Under the command of Major Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol), 120 Indian soldiers patrol the desert to keep a check on the Pakistani army. But the Pakistani battalion is over 2000 soldiers strong, consisting of war tanks and all the ammunition needed to crush the Indian army. Now, 120 soldiers have to hold an entire night against 2000 Pakistani soldiers till help arrives in the morning. The Higher command orders Major Kuldeep Singh to retreat as it was impossible to fight. Major Kuldeep Singh and his battalion refuse to fall back and stand their ground to fight hordes of enemies till death. With every soldier having a tale to tell, a family to love, they must protect their country at any cost and fight to supremacy and win the Indo-Pak war.

Hoho...
Sandese aate hain
Humein tadpaate hain
To chitthi aati hai
To poochh jaati hai
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye ghar soona soona hai
Sandese aate hain
Humein tadpaate hain
To chitthi aati hain
To poochh jaati hai
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye ghar soona soona hai
Kisi dilwaali ne kisi matwaali ne
Humein khat likkha hai
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye dil soona soona hai
Sandese aate hain
Humein tadpate hain
To chitthi aati hai
To pooche jaati hai
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye ghar soona soona hai
Mohabbat walon ne hamare yaaron ne
Humein ye likkha hai ke humse poochha hai
Hamare gaaon ne aam ki chaaon ne
Puraane peepal ne baraste baadal ne
Khet khaliayaanon ne hare maidaanon ne
Basanti belon ne jhoomti belon ne
Lachakte jhulon ne behekte phoolon ne
Chatakti kaliyon ne
Aur poochha hain gaaon ki galiyon ne
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin gaaon soona soona hai
Sandese aate hain
Humein tadpate hain
To chitthi aati hai
To pooche jaati hai
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye ghar soona soona hai
Ohh Ohhhh Ohhh ...
Kabhi ek mamta ki
Pyaar ki ganga ki
Vo chitthi aati hai
Saath vo laati hai
Mere din bachpan ke
Khel vo aangan ke
Vo saaya aanchal ka
Vo teeka kaajal ka
Vo lori raaton mein vo narmi haathon mein
Vo chaahat aankhon mein vo chinta baaton mein
Bigadna oopar se mohabbat andar se
Kare vo devi maa
Yahin har khat mein poochhe meri maa
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin aangan soona soona hai
Sandese aate hain
Humein tadpate hain
To chitthi aati hai
To pooche jaati hai
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Ke ghar kab aaoge
Likho kab aaoge
Ki tum bin ye ghar soona soona hai
ohohho..
Ay guzarne waali hava bata
Mera itna kaam karegi kya
Mere gaanv ja mere doston mo salaam de
Meri gaanv mein hai jo vo gali
Jahaan rehti hai meri dilruba
Usay mere pyaar ka jaam de
Usay mere pyaar ka jaam de
Vahin thodi door hai ghar mera
Mera ghar mein hai meri boodhi maa
Mere maa ke pairon ko chhooke
Usay uske beta ka naam de
Ay guzarne waali hava zara
Mere doston meri dilruba
Meri maa ko mera paiyam de
Unhe jaake ty ye paigam de
Main vaapas aaoonga
Main vaapas aaoonga
Phir apne gaaon mein
Usiki chaaon mein
Ki maa ke aanchal se
Gaanv ke peepal se
Kisike kaajal se
Kiya jo vaada tha vo nibhaoonga
Main ek din aaoonga
Main ek din aaoonga
Main ek din aaoonga
Main ek din aaoonga

BORDER 1997 -UPHAAR IVF.Friday, June 13, 1997
Alfred Alistair Cooke KBE (20 November 1908 - 30 March 2004) was a British/American journalist, television personality and broadcaster.[1] Outside his journalistic output, which included Letter from America and Alistair Cooke's America, he was well known in the United States as the host of PBS Masterpiece Theater from 1971 to 1992. After holding the job for 22 years, and having worked in television for 42 years, Cooke retired in 1992, although he continued to present Letter from America until shortly before his death. He was the father of author and folk singer John Byrne Cooke.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alistair...
Born in Salford, Lancashire, England, his father was a lay Methodist preacher and metalsmith by trade; his mother's family were of Irish Protestant origin. Originally named Alfred, he changed his name to Alistair when he was 22.
In 1937, Cooke moved to the United States, starting what was to become a permanent emigration.[citation needed] He became US citizen and swore the Oath of Allegiance on 1 December 1941, six days before Pearl Harbor was attacked. Shortly after emigrating, Cooke suggested to the BBC the idea of doing the London Letter in reverse: a 15-minute talk for British listeners on life in America. A prototype, Mainly About Manhattan, was broadcast intermittently from 1938, but the idea was shelved with the outbreak of World War II in 1939. During the war, he broadcast a weekly American Commentary on the BBC about the war.
During this time, as well, Cooke undertook a journey through the whole United States, recording the lifestyle of ordinary Americans during the war -- and their reactions to it. The manuscript did not arouse much interest immediately after the war, but it was discovered a few weeks before his death in 2004 and published as The American Home Front: 1941-1942 in the United States (and as Alistair Cooke's American Journey: Life on the Home Front in the Second World War in the UK) in 2006.
The first American Letter was broadcast on March 24, 1946 (Cooke said this was at the request of Lindsey Wellington, BBC's New York Controller); the series was initially commissoned for only 13 instalments. The series finally came to an end 58 years (2,869 installments) later, in March 2004. Along the way, it picked up a new name (changing from American Letter to Letter from America in 1950) and an enormous audience, being broadcast not only in Britain and in many other Commonwealth countries, but throughout the world by the BBC World Service. The original scripts are held at the BBC and at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center of Boston University.
In 1968, he was only yards away from Robert F. Kennedy when he was assassinated, witnessing the events that followed.
Later the same year, Cooke was awarded an honorary knighthood (KBE) for his "outstanding contribution to Anglo-American mutual understanding." Cooke was reportedly happy to accept because in the words of Thomas Jefferson, it did not involve "the very great vanity of a title."[8] Having relinquished his British citizenship during World War II, he could not be called "Sir Alistair". For more than 50 years, Cooke lived in a rent-controlled apartment in Manhattan, New York City, outliving several property owners and all fellow tenants.
On March 2, 2004, at the age of 95, following advice from his doctors, Cooke announced his retirement from Letter from America — after 58 years, the longest-running speech radio show in the world.
Cooke died at midnight on March 30, 2004, at his home in New York City. He had been ill with heart disease, but died of lung cancer, which had spread to his bones. He was cremated, and his ashes were clandestinely scattered by his family in Central Park.
On December 22, 2005, the New York Daily News reported that the bones of Cooke and many other people had been surgically removed before cremation by employees of Biomedical Tissue Services of Fort Lee, New Jersey, a tissue-recovery firm. The thieves allegedly sold the bones for use as medical-grade bone grafts. The cancer from which Cooke was suffering had spread to his bones, making them unsuitable for grafts. Reports indicated[13] the people involved in selling the bones altered his death certificate to hide the cause of death and reduce his age from 95 to 85. Michael Mastromarino, a former New Jersey--based oral surgeon, and Lee Cruceta agreed to a deal that resulted in their imprisonment. Mastromarino was sentenced on June 27, 2008, in the Supreme Court in Brooklyn to 18 to 54 years' imprisonment. The entire story of the theft featured in a documentary aimed at educating the public about modern day grave robbery.

***UPDATE / 100.000 Plays!***
After just a week, we reached the awesome goal of 100K plays. Thanks to everybody who shared, commented, liked and got inspired by watching Further Up Yonder. It has been an intense week, spent answering a ton of nice messages that people from all over the world sent to me. You made possible to have this video featured on blogs, forums and major media websites during this week. You helped this video crossing borders, as the astronauts asked us, reaching out to every continent. Thanks for your incredible support. Keep sharing!
***TO THE STARS!***
A timelapse message from ISS to all Humankind. - 2K version available on my blog: http://wp.me/p2fVm6-bv
I wanted to use pictures taken from the International Space Station to tell a story and share the message sent by the astronauts who worked on the station in the last 11 years.
They are working to open a Gateway to Space for all humankind, but people on Earth must understand that they have to get rid of the concept of borders on our planet if they want to follow the astronauts to new worlds in outer space. While the cosmonauts speak a day passes on Earth, from dawn to sunset, until the Gateway opens with a burst of light. The ISS then gains speed, the astronauts are leaving our planet which they see spinning faster and faster, merging earth, oceans and people together, ready to follow them, Further Up Yonder.
Making of
As a filmmaking student, this was my first attempt to craft a timelapse video. It has been a time consuming process, but it turned out as one of my most satisfying projects.
I focused my workflow on colours and harmony of movements, syncing every frame with the music and the voices of the astronauts. Every picture has been post processed individually before being imported in the NLE software, as I tried to take the most out of every image in terms of colours, contrast and neatiness.
Pictures were downloaded from the Image Science & Analysis Laboratory, NASA Johnson Space Center and edited with Photoshop CS6. Even if they were Hi-res images shot with Nikon D3S cameras, a lot of noise removal and color correction was needed, especially for those shots at ISO 3200, which was the highest ISO speed limit I've allowed myself to use, exception made for the last sequence of the spinning world, which comes from a sequenze of shots taken at ISO 12800. Daytime shots were taken at ISO 200. I've used Topaz Denoise 5 for noise removal, as it is very powerful and accurate when dealing with shadows and blacks.
Editing was made with Adobe Premiere CS6, with a 2K workflow, which allowed me to scale, rotate and pan image sequences whose native resolution is 4K. The video was downscaled to 1280x720 resolution for Vimeo. The original 2K version is available for download on my blog (link on top of this description).

Colr Inc. asked me to make a motion piece and gave me free reign to create, the only directive was given that it would include the logo somehow.
APPROACH AND SOLUTION
When i first saw the existing Logo of Colr, it remind me Abstract Painter Kenneth Noland's Painting "Beginning". This kind of direct me to Color field Painting era. The colors of the logo were prominent enough to execute it in a minimal way. For me the question was, how I can get out of that circular borders of the logo without losing the colours and the main shape of it.
The main inspiration came from the Painter which I always admired Morris Louis and his Color Field Paintings. I've decided to combine these two ideas in my design (colours & stripes) and execute it with Strands as simple as possible and give the birth of Colr concept, expand the idea with a smooth motion that is integrated to the Logo and Typeface and observe the sheer beauty and impact of color.
