Dĩ An

Dĩ An is a town of Bình Dương Province in the south-east region of Vietnam, about 20 km north of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon). It is 1706 km by rail from Hanoi. At the 2009 census the town had a population of 73,859. The town covers 60 km².

Transport

The town is the proposed junction for the Trans-Asian Railway that would connect half a dozen railways in south east Asia, starting with Cambodia. This line would cross the Cambodian border near Lộc Ninh.

Dĩ An is the important destination of the national railway with two railway stations: Dĩ An and Sóng Thần. The area's tram factory is the largest in South Vietnam. Dĩ An was also the Headquarters for the American 1st Infantry Division (nicknamed "The Big Red One") during the Vietnam War. Later in 1969 and 1970 the 1st Infantry Division was withdrawn to the US, and The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment was there until 1972.

Alaskan king crab fishing

Alaskan king crab fishing is carried out during the fall months in the waters off the coast of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. The commercial harvest is performed during a very short season, and the catch is shipped worldwide. Large numbers of king crab are also caught in Russian and international waters.

In 1980, at the peak of the king crab industry, Alaskan fisheries produced up to 200,000,000 lb (91,000,000 kg) of crab. However, by 1983, the total size of the catch had dropped by up to 90% in some places. Several theories for the precipitous drop in the crab population have been proposed, including overfishing, warmer waters, and increased fish predation. As a result the current season is very short and in the 2010 season only 24,000,000 lb (11,000,000 kg) of red king crab were landed.

Alaskan crab fishing is very dangerous, and the fatality rate among the fishermen is about 80 times the fatality rate of the average worker. It is suggested that, on average, one crab fisherman dies weekly during the seasons.

100 Kila

Yavor Yanakiev (Bulgarian: Явор Янакиев, born 16 May 1985) better known by his stage name 100 Kila (Bulgarian: 100 Кила), is a Bulgarian rapper from Varna, Bulgaria. His stage name means 100 kilos in English.

Biography

Early life

Yanakiev was born and raised in Asparuhovo, Varna. His parents separated when he was 6. His mother moved to Greece and currently works there. From there she sent him money. He lived with his father and brother, until his father left them. Yavor studied in school until 8th grade.

Yanakiev is of Romani Gypsy descent.

Career

Yanakiev started his musical career after meeting Big Sha in Varna. He participated in the Big Sha songs "Ritam basov" (Bass rhythm) and "Kukite me debnat" (The cops are onto me).

Yanakiev also participated in the first season of the Bulgarian version of the show The Mole. He also shot 1 episode for the Bulgarian TV Series Domashen Arest(House Arrest) in 2013. In 2015 he joined Sofia Residents in Excess cast for season 9.
