It was directed by Kim Ho Jun and was released in 2004. It was the second most popular Korean movie of 2004 in Korea, behind the blockbuster hit Taegukgi, with 3149500 visitors. It was 4th most popular among all films. Boeun (Moon Geun Young) is an ordinary 15-year-old high school girl who worries about grades and has a crush on her school's baseball team ace, Jungwoo. One day, Boeun's grandfather orders her to marry Sangmin (Kim Rae Won) because of a pact he made with Sangmin's grandfather during the Korean War. Despite the grandchildren's opposition, they are forced to marry because of Boeun's grandfather's strong influence. Boeun's undercover married life begins: She pretends that she doesn't have a husband and starts dating Jungwoo. Boeun believes that she can manage both men and live a double life. Everything goes smoothly until Sangmin visits Boeun's school as a student teacher.

The Notebook is a 2004 romantic drama film directed by Nick Cassavetes, based on the romance novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who fall in love during the early 1940s. Their story is narrated from the present day by an elderly man played by James Garner, telling the tale to a fellow nursing home resident, played by Gena Rowlands. The film performed well on the box-office and received several award nominations, winning eight Teen Choice Awards, one Satellite Award, and one MTV Movie Award. Personalized opinion: The Notebook is the best movie ever made. In my view The Notebook is even better than The Titanic.

Summary -- The Story is about Karan the brother of wealthy Arjun Rana attends College and is smitten by the charm of the beautiful Bindiya, his fellow collegian, and subsequently fell in love with her. For some reason or the other Karan is unable to profess his love to Bindiya, unknown to Karan, Bindiya has no similar feelings for him but is undoubtedly attracted to Sahil, who comes from a poor background and whose brother, Sanju makes his living by operating as a mechanic. When Karan and his friends come to know about Sahil and Bindiya they publicly humiliate and insult Sahil on the College campus. Unable to bear disgrace, Sahil attempts suicide but survives after he is admitted to the hospital. In seeking revenge for his brother's state; Sanju publicly beats up Karan badly injuring him. When Arjun comes to know of this he decides to take a stand by burning the entire locality where Sanju resides. After three months things seem to have calmed down when Karan gets discharged from hospital, Sahil leaves college and takes up employment in a café and Sanju's business is once again restored to him. Then Bindiya and Sahil confess their love for each other. At last, Sahil wins the fight against the bad guy Karan and Karan dies. Then Bindiya and Sahil lives their life together happily ever after.

Haven't really had time to watch the video. Volcano season keeps me pretty busy. I cut it on board the helicopter on the way back from the eruption. Threw some music from the fantastic composer Veigar Margeirsson (www.veigar.com) on it and posted it here.
It took us 90 minutes to fly to Grimsvotn with a strong wind against us. The eruption looked magnificent in the sunset. We got there at 11pm. Once we landed 5 miles away from the crater the cold glacier air hit us like a truck. We tried to work outside but I only lasted for a couple of minutes. Pilot Reynir Petursson also didn’t want to stay on the ground for too long since it was very windy and the ash fall was unpredictable. The light was also disappearing and he needs visual reference which is difficult on a white glacier. Once we got off the ground again we had to stay low because there were so many lightnings all around the eruption. Getting hit by a lightning in that strong wind, extreme frost and next to a live volcano was not desirable. We made it back to Reykjavik at 2am. Now the airspace has been closed in a 20 nautical miles radius because of ash.
Last time Grimsvotn erupted was in the fall of 2004. At the time I was making the documentary Wrath of Gods http://www.wrathofgods.com and the eruption became a part of the story.
