Wong Nai Chung Gap (Chinese: 黃泥涌峽) (Meaning: The gorge that yellow mud is gushing out of) is a geographic gap in the middle of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. The gap is between Mount Nicholson and Jardine's Lookout behind Wong Nai Chung. Five roads meet at the Gap Wong Nai Chung Gap Road, Tai Tam Reservoir Road, Repulse Bay Road, Deep Water Bay Road and Black's Link. It is a strategic passage between the north and south of the island, though less so today since the opening of the Aberdeen Tunnel.

In the 1930s, the British army began installing defence structures at the gap in preparation for possible attacks by the Japanese army. On 8 December 1941, the Battle of Hong Kong started; the Japanese landed at North Point on Hong Kong Island on 18 December, and reached Wong Nai Chung Gap on 19 December. Canadian and Hong Kong troops defended the passage and Wong Nai Chung Reservoir, with more than 600 Japanese soldiers injured or killed. The gap fell to the Japanese on 19 December, followed by Mount Nicholson and Repulse Bay the next day.

Happy Valley is an upper-income residential area in Hong Kong, located in the northern part of Hong Kong Island. Administratively, it is part of Wan Chai District.

There is also a long road going through Happy Vallley called Wong Nai Chung (黃泥涌, lit. yellow mud stream), named after the stream of the same name. Sometimes, this name is used for Happy Valley. For indicating the landscape, Wong Nai Chung Kuk (黃泥涌谷) or Wong Nai Chung Valley is used occasionally hi.

Happy Valley Racecourse, one of the two race tracks of the Hong Kong Jockey Club is located in Happy Valley.

The Hong Kong Racing Museum, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, and a number of cemeteries (including the Hong Kong Cemetery) are also located in Happy Valley.

Happy Valley is also the home of Hong Kong First Division's Happy Valley Athletic Association.

The area now known as Happy Valley was formerly known as Wong Nai Chung Valley, where Wong Nai Chung referred to a river collecting waters from Wong Nai Chung Gap and surroundings. The river nourished the rice paddies until the construction of Happy Valley Racecourse in 1846.

Nai Chung is a countryside in northeastern New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located at the east of Ma On Shan, partly lying within the Ma On Shan Country Park. Despite its proximity to the neighbouring areas administered by Sha Tin and Sai Kung districts, it is actually administered by Tai Po District. It is covered by the Sai Kung North constituency at the Tai Po District Council. Nai Chung lies in a larger area collectively known as Shap Sze Heung.

It contains barbecue sites, which are popular destinations of school picnics, and some restaurants that serve Thai and Indian food.^{[citation needed]}

Sai Sha Road, which connects Ma On Shan to Sai Kung, is the only road that goes via Nai Chung. The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB) has bus routes that serve Nai Chung:

Larry Christopher Allen, Sr. (born November 27, 1971) is a former American football guard of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft. He played college football at Sonoma State.

An 11-time Pro Bowl selection, Allen played 12 seasons with the Cowboys and earned a Super Bowl ring with the team after a 27-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XXX. He played his final two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before signing a one-day contract with the Dallas Cowboys, allowing him to retire with the organization that drafted him, prior to the 2008 regular season. In his career, he played in more Pro Bowls than any other Dallas Cowboys offensive player in franchise history.

At 6 ft 3 in tall and weighing 325 pounds, Allen is regarded as possibly one of the physically strongest men to have ever played in the NFL, having recorded a bench press of 692 lb (314 kg).

Allen attended a different school each of four years of high school. He finished from Vintage High School in Napa, California but did not graduate. As a freshman at Centennial High School in Compton, California, he lettered in football.
