Mitchell A. Glazer (born 1953) is an American movie producer, writer, and actor.

Biography[link]

Glazer was born in Key Biscayne, Florida and was raised in Miami, the son of Leonard and Zelda Glazer, an English teacher.^[1] Glazer is a relative of Sidney Glazier and Tom Glazer. He attended Miami Beach High School. He attended Clark University before transferring to NYU. Before becoming a screenwriter, he wrote for the music publications Rolling Stone magazine and Crawdaddy!, where he met and befriended Timothy White.

Glazer was a reporter for Crawdaddy! music magazine in the late 1970s. He collaborated with friend and writing partner Michael O'Donoghue on several projects, most notably the holiday comedy Scrooged starring Bill Murray.

Glazer was formerly married to actress Wendie Malick but divorced her in 1989 after seven years. In 1993 he married actress Kelly Lynch. Glazer legally adopted Lynch's daughter Shane. Glazer and Lynch own two modern architectural homes in California: one by John Lautner in the Hollywood Hills and the other by Richard Neutra in Lone Pine, California. In 2007, Glazer and his wife, Kelly Lynch, were named as one of Vanity Fair's best-dressed couples.

Glazer is friends with Mickey Rourke, who was two years behind him at Miami Beach High School.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (born April 22, 1966) is an American actor, best known to television and movie audiences as Denny Duquette on Grey's Anatomy, patriarch John Winchester on Supernatural, and as The Comedian in the 2009 superhero film Watchmen. He currently stars as Ike Evans in Magic City.

Early life[link]

Morgan was born in Seattle, Washington, the son of Sandy Thomas and Richard Dean Morgan.^[1] He attended Ben Franklin Elementary School, Rose Hill Junior High and Lake Washington High School in the nearby smaller city of Kirkland. Morgan was a basketball player in high school and university. He was a graphic artist for a time, until he helped a friend move to Los Angeles.

Starting with the 1991 movie Uncaged, Morgan has appeared in 15 feature films. The bulk of Morgan's work has been in television. He was the star of the 1996–1997 television series The Burning Zone; his character, Dr. Edward Marcase, appeared in 10 out of 19 episodes that season. Since 2000, he has amassed a number of credits in television series such as ER, JAG, Walker, Texas Ranger, Angel, Tru Calling, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Sliders, The O.C., and Monk.

In 2005 and 2006, Morgan simultaneously appeared in three separate television series: On the CW series Supernatural as John Winchester, the mysterious father of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles); in a recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy as heart transplant patient Denny Duquette, who carried on a relationship with intern Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl). He also appeared in two episodes as Judah Botwin on the Showtime series Weeds. Morgan's three roles are notable in that all three of the characters are now deceased, two of whom died onscreen.

Morgan was cast in a new project by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. The series, tentatively titled "Correspondents", was to have started production in summer 2007. ABC picked up a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, called Private Practice, that was also created by Rhimes, and that project has rendered the future of "Correspondents" uncertain. Morgan is also among the cast of a movie that is based on a novel by the Irish novlist Cecelia Ahern, PS, I Love You. The movie was released on December 21, 2007. Another 2007 film starring Morgan is The Accidental Husband, which finished filming in New York City in March 2007 and was not released on DVD until 2009. Morgan also recently finished filming Days of Wrath, a film about gangland violence in Los Angeles.

Morgan portrayed The Comedian, a cigar-chomping antihero, in Watchmen, based on Alan Moore's graphic novel.^[2] The same year, he appeared in Taking Woodstock, directed by Ang Lee. He also played 'Clay' in a comic book movie adaptation of The Losers, co-starring Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba and Chris Evans.

He has recently finished shooting the thriller The Resident with two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, Shanghai, starring John Cusack, and All Good Things, with Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. Morgan will also play one of the leads in the upcoming reboot of Red Dawn, portray detective John Calisto in the serial killer thriller The Unblinking Eye, under direction from Michael J. Bassett,^[3] and appeared in the thriller Texas Killing Fields.^[4] He is currently filming a new television drama series, Magic City which centers on mob life in 1950s Miami.^[5] He will next be seen in Sam Raimi's horror thriller The Possession which co-stars Kyra Sedgewick as his wife in August 2012.

Morgan began dating his former Weeds costar, Mary-Louise Parker, in December 2006.^[6] The couple briefly split in June 2007,^[7] though they later reconciled.^[6] On February 12, 2008, Morgan and Parker announced their engagement,^[8] and broke it off in April 2008.^[9]

Morgan has been in a relationship with actress Hilarie Burton since 2009. The couple welcomed a son, Augustus "Gus", in March 2010.^[10][11] Morgan is also father to son Dean with ex-girlfriend Sherrie Rose, of whom he became aware in March 2009, when the child was four years old.^[12]

Dean Lance Morgan (born 3 October 1983) is a professional football player. He usually plays as a striker or winger. Morgan is married with two children; his father-in-law is ex-footballer Brian Stein.

Morgan started his career with Colchester United, but left in September 2003, having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.^[1] He joined Reading in November 2003, before being released at the end of the 2004–05 season. He joined Luton Town in the summer of 2005. Morgan started well, scoring a late winner against Southampton on his first home appearance for the Hatters.

Despite interest from other teams,^{[citation needed]} Morgan signed a new deal at Luton on February 16, 2007, keeping him at Luton until the summer of 2009.^[2]

On 16 November 2007, Morgan signed on loan for Southend United until January 2008.^[3] He scored three goals for Southend, all of which came in the FA Cup in games against Oxford United (scoring once)^[4] and Dagenham & Redbridge (scoring twice).^[5] On 3 January 2008, Leeds United manager Dennis Wise confirmed that Morgan was one of his transfer targets in the transfer window,^[6] but Morgan remained at Luton as Leeds would not meet his wage demands, despite Luton being willing to release him on a free transfer.^[7] This was not the first time Wise had attempted to bring Morgan to Leeds, having also tried to sign him during the 2006–07 season. On 7 March 2008 Morgan signed for Crewe Alexandra on loan for the rest of the season,^[8] where he scored once against Gillingham.^[9]

Morgan was contracted to Luton until the end of the 2008–09 season, but never made another first-team appearance for the Hatters. On 29 August 2008, Morgan joined Leyton Orient on loan until January 2009,^[10] later extended to the end of the season. He played 34 games for the O's from left midfield, scoring five goals.

Morgan was released on a free transfer by Luton on 27 May 2009.^[11] Subsequently he signed for Conference National club Grays Athletic on 10 August.^[12] Morgan made just two appearances for Grays, scoring once against Tamworth^[13] before being released. In September 2009, Morgan joined Milton Keynes Dons on trial,^[14] before signing on non-contract terms.^[15] Morgan scored his first goal for the club in a 2–1 win over former club Leyton Orient on 12 December 2009,^[16] and followed this up with his second goal against Premier League side Burnley in the FA Cup on 2 January 2010.^[17] On the 25 March 2010, Morgan signed for Aldershot Town on loan, until the end of the season.^[18] He scored his first goal for Aldershot Town in the 3–0 win over Rotherham United on the 5 April 2010.

He was released by MK Dons when his contract expired at the end of the season.^[19]

Despite being offered a contract by Aldershot Town he decided to sign for Chesterfield.

On 8 March 2012, Morgan signed on loan for League Two promotion chasers Oxford United. He came on as a substitute to make his debut against Bradford City at Valley Parade, in which they lost 2–1.

He was released by Chesterfield at the end of the 2011-12 season.^[20]

Gary C. Clark (born May 1, 1962) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League who played for the Washington Redskins (1985–1992), Phoenix Cardinals (1993–1994) and Miami Dolphins (1995).

Early life[link]

Clark attended and played high school football at Pulaski County High School in Dublin, Virginia.

College career[link]

Clark played college football at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he caught 155 passes for 2,863 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also had three punt returns for touchdowns, including 89- and 87-yard returns in a game during the 1983 season against the University of Virginia. Clark was at James Madison during the Dukes' first four Division I-AA seasons. He caught 46 passes for James Madison's 8-3 team in 1982 and had 57 receptions in 1983. He was the Virginia offensive player of the year in 1982 and an honorable mention All-American in 1982 and 1983.

Clark became the first person in James Madison history to have his jersey retired.

After college, Clark played for the Jacksonville Bulls of the United States Football League after being picked in the United States Football League draft. He played for the Bulls in 1984 and 1985.

Clark was selected by the Washington Redskins in the second round of the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft of USFL and CFL Players.

In 1985, he signed with the Redskins and had a superb rookie season, recording 72 receptions for 926 yards and five touchdowns. Clark quickly established himself as one of the top receivers in the NFL. He followed up his superb rookie season in 1986 with a Pro Bowl year catching 74 passes for 1,265 yards and seven touchdowns. Clark set a Redskin record for receiving yards in a game during a Monday Night Football contest with the New York Giants. He caught 11 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown. The record still stands today as the "most receiving yards in a non-strike game" (Anthony Allen surpassed Clark's tally during the 1987 strike season). The Redskins went on to finish 12-4 and defeated the reigning Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears, 27-13, in a divisional playoff game but lost to the Giants in the NFC Championship game, 17-0.

In 1987, Clark again had a Pro Bowl year, catching 56 passes for 1,066 and seven touchdowns. He achieved these numbers in only 11 games, as a player strike shortened the season by one game and replacements played three games. No Redskin player crossed the picket line and the replacements went 3-0. Clark was only one of four NFL receivers to surpass 1,000 yards. By this time, he had caught the eye of CBS commentator John Madden. Clark's toughness, big-play ability and willingness to block made him a regular on the All Madden Team during his playing career. The Redskins went on to finish 11-4, winning the NFC East crown. In the playoffs, the Redskins defeated the Chicago Bears in the Divisional Playoff game for the second year in a row, 21-17. Clark caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Championship game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Redskins won, 17-10, to earn the right to play in Super Bowl XXII. Clark caught three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 25 yards in Washington's 42-10 rout of John Elway and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXII.

Clark's numbers dropped in 1988 as he caught 59 passes for 892 yards and seven touchdowns. The Redskins finished a paltry 7-9 and missed the playoffs. He returned to form in 1989, catching 79 passes (a career high) for 1,229 yards and nine touchdowns. The Redskins finished 10-6 but missed the playoffs again because of a 5-6 start. Clark, along with fellow receivers Art Monk and Ricky Sanders, surpassed the 1,000 yard mark in 1989. This was the first time in NFL History that three receivers from one team all went over the 1,000 yard mark in the same year.

In 1990, Clark had another Pro Bowl year and the Redskins made the playoffs. He caught 75 passes for 1,112 yards and eight touchdowns. The Redskins went on to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 20-6, in an NFC Wild Card game. Clark caught four passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. The Redskins lost the next week to the San Francisco 49ers, 28-10.

In 1991, Clark and the Redskins tore through the NFL. He caught 70 passes for 1,340 yards and ten touchdowns. His 19.1 yards per catch was second in the NFL. Clark caught four passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns in Washington's 56-17 rout of the Atlanta Falcons in week 11. The Redskins finished 14-2, won the NFC East, and claimed home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Washington beat Atlanta, 24-7, and crushed Detroit, 41-10, to earn a berth in Super Bowl XXVI against the Buffalo Bills. Clark had a big day with seven catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in Washington's 37-24 defeat of the Bills. The Redskins led 24-0 early in the third quarter, but Buffalo cut the lead to 24-10. His 30-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was instrumental in thwarting a comeback attempt by the Bills.

Clark, Monk and Sanders gave the Redskins one of the best receiving corps in the NFL during the late 1980s and early 1990s. They were known as The Posse. Clark was long known as the most fiery spirit of the bunch, and he was known to run laps around RFK Stadium after touchdowns and during Redskins comebacks. Clark signed with the Phoenix Cardinals as a free agent prior to the 1993 season, and the Redskins have only made the playoffs three times since.

Clark retired from the NFL after the 1995 season. In his 11 NFL seasons, he caught 699 passes for 10,856 yards and 65 touchdowns, while rushing for 54 yards and gaining 62 yards on nine punt returns. He also had twenty-seven 100-yard games wearing the Redskins uniform. Clark was a four-time Pro Bowl selection in 1986, 1987, 1990, and 1991. He was also a three-time All-Pro selection. He led his team in receiving seven times (1986, 1987, 1989–1992, 1994), and won two Super Bowls, Super Bowl XXII and Super Bowl XXVI, during his NFL career.

Clark was the first receiver in NFL history to catch at least 50 passes in his first ten NFL seasons. As of 2009, the only other players to do so have been Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt.

He was inducted into the Redskins Ring of Honor on October 7, 2007 and concluded his speech with, "We are going to spank Detroit's butt." The Redskins won the game, 34-3.

Stephen Leo "Steve" Bing (born March 31, 1965) is an American businessman, film producer, and donor to progressive causes. He is the founder of the Shangri-La business group, an organization with interests in property, construction, entertainment, and music.

Early life[link]

His parents are Helen, a nurse, and Peter Bing, a doctor in public health.^[1][2] At the age of 18, Bing inherited an estimated $600 million from his grandfather, Leo S. Bing, who had made his fortune in New York real estate in the 1920s. The Los Angeles Business Journal's January 2010 publication of "The Lists 2010" listed him in their "Wealthiest Angelenos" section of the magazine, which estimated his worth at $590 million, coming in at No. 46.

Bing attended the elite Los Angeles Harvard-Westlake private school. Before graduation, he had written (with veteran sitcom writer Arthur Silver) his first screenplay, "Missing in Action." It became a Chuck Norris film that had a sequel. Bing dropped out of Stanford University in his junior year to pursue a career in Hollywood.

Bing has enjoyed success in filmmaking, though his directorial debut, Every Breath, went straight to video. His other, more notable projects include writing Kangaroo Jack and producing Get Carter. Bing reportedly invested $80 million in The Polar Express, an animated film featuring the voice of Tom Hanks, which earned $285 million globally and was one of the year's top box office successes.^[3]

He is also the financier of Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf (2007), and the producer/financier of Shine A Light, a Rolling Stones concert film directed by Martin Scorsese.

Bing also financed and produced the independently released Jerry Lee Lewis album, Last Man Standing, pulling together performers such as Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, Jimmy Page, B.B. King, and Kid Rock to play alongside "The Killer."

Bing is among the nation's leading donors to environmental causes. According to filings of public campaign contributions, the Democratic Party has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of his wealth.

Beginning with a $500 contribution in 1993 to support Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., in his bid for re-election, Bing has contributed more than $10.7 million at the federal level to the Democratic Party and its candidates, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

The biggest checks were written in 2002 when he gave a total of $8.2 million to the Democratic National Committee. But he also has given to specific candidates, including Al Gore, Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein.

Bing was reported to have given at least $49.5 million during the 2006 election cycle in support of Proposition 87, a California initiative which sought to raise $4 billion in oil production taxes to help develop alternative fuels.^[4] Bing also supported several key races in other parts of the country as Democrats fought to win back control of Congress. They included Democratic challenger Bob Casey, Jr. in Pennsylvania, who unseated conservative GOP incumbent Sen. Rick Santorum, and Tammy Duckworth in Illinois, a Democratic Congressional hopeful and an Army National Guard major who lost her legs in Iraq two years ago, who went on to lose to State Sen. Peter Roskam.

Excluding Prop. 87 contributions, in California Bing has written $7.8 million worth of checks since 2000, according to the California secretary of state. He spent $4.25 million in 2005 in a successful effort to defeat Prop. 77, a redistricting initiative sponsored by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Other beneficiaries include the California Democratic Party ($640,172); Gov. Gray Davis ($675,000); and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, whose campaign received $750 in 2004.

In October 2008 Stephen Bing pledged to match donations made to the NO on Proposition 8 campaign from October 17–19. If passed, Proposition 8 would "change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California." A new section would be added stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California." Proposition 8 has since passed with a 52-48 vote in the 2008 Election, trumping the May 2008 State Supreme Court decision that legalized same-sex marriage. The resolution is being challenged in the State Supreme Court. On February 7, 2012, in a 2–1 decision, a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals panel affirmed Judge Vaughn R. Walker's decision declaring the Proposition 8 ban on same-sex marriage to be unconstitutional.

On the 18 December 2008, the William J. Clinton Foundation released a list of all contributors. It included Stephen L. Bing, who gave between US$10–25 million.^[5]

On August 5, 2009, a 737 private aircraft owned by Stephen Bing and based out of hangar 25 at the Burbank airport in Southern California, was utilized in the return of American reporters Laura Ling and Euna Lee who had spent 5 months of a 12 year sentence in North Korea.^[6] Former President Bill Clinton was instrumental in their return, and accompanied the reporters on board Stephen Bing's plane. Bing reportedly covered the cost of the entire flight, estimated to be around $200,000.^[6]

Bing has attracted attention for dating some of the world's most beautiful women and for being involved in high-profile lawsuits.

Around 2001, he was involved in two separate paternity cases involving models Elizabeth Hurley and Lisa Bonder and their babies.

In 2001, he became British tabloid fodder after actress, model, and Estee Lauder spokesmodel Elizabeth Hurley announced she was pregnant and claimed Bing was the father of the baby. Bing denied he was the father and claimed they did not have an "exclusive" relationship. A DNA test proved that Bing was indeed the father. It is not known whether he has any relationship with his son Damian. Damian's godfathers include Hurley's long-time ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant, Elton John, and actor Denis Leary. Hurley married Arun Nayar in 2007. London's Daily Mail said that Hurley and her friends referred to Bing as "Bing Laden".

Separately but also in 2001, Bing's name appeared in the news when he sued billionaire Kirk Kerkorian for invasion of privacy. Bing alleged that Kerkorian's private investigators took Bing's dental floss out of his trash to collect his DNA. At the time, Kerkorian was in a legal fight with his ex-wife Lisa Bonder, a former professional tennis player, over the amount of child support he would pay, with the billionaire reportedly suspecting Bing (a previous boyfriend) to be the father of the child. After Bing was proved by DNA test to be the father of Bonder's child, Bing and Kerkorian settled their dispute out of court.

The paternity of Bonder's daughter was revealed thanks to the efforts of Anthony Pellicano, a Los Angeles private investigator (and wiretapper) hired by Kerkorian's lawyer,^[7] and also a "friend" to Bing.^[8] According to an FBI summary, Pellicano sometimes played Hollywood clients against each other, at one point asking financier (and Bing friend) Ron Burkle for a $100,000 to $250,000 shakedown in order not to be investigated by Michael Ovitz, another Pellicano client.^[9] In a twist to the case, The New York Times reported payments of $335,000 by Bing to Pellicano between June 2000 and August 2002. According to excerpts of recorded calls, Pellicano bragged to Kerkorian's lawyer in April and May 2002 that he was "working for" and "consulting for" Bing in matters related to Elizabeth Hurley and her son's disputed paternity, which was then in the news. A lawyer for Bing, Martin Singer, called Pellicano's statement regarding Hurley "an absolute lie." (The Daily Mail reportedly paid a "substantial" settlement to Bing in 2003 after Pellicano's sworn statement that he had "never been engaged by Mr. Bing nor his attorney Mr. Martin Singer to investigate anyone on Mr. Bing’s behalf, including Ms. Hurley."^[10]) Following two trials in 2008 in which Bing did not testify, Pellicano was convicted of 78 counts of wiretapping, racketeering, wire fraud, and conspiracy.^[11] Pellicano was sentenced to 15 years in prison and ordered, with co-conspirator Terry N. Christensen, to forfeit $2 million.^[12]
