Truth About Jiang Zemin: Part I
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Jiang Zemin's death or illness has led to a dispute in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regarding Jiang's life. Jiang's notorious deeds have attracted attention. NTD will make a series of reports on Jiang's life. Today, we discuss Jiang's betrayals and falsifications. Lü Jiaping from the Chinese Association of WWII History wrote an open letter in Dec. 2009, accusing Jiang of "two betrayals and two falsifications." Addressed to CCP's Central Committee and Hu Jintao, the letter accused Jiang of spying for the Japanese and USSR, and his falsifications of personal and family histories. The letter said, Jiang's father Jiang Shijun worked for the Japanese invaders under the name Jiang Guanqian. He served in a puppet government controlled by the Japanese, and was a traitor, betraying China for personal gains. In 1943, Jiang's father sent him to the "Central College", which trained many Chinese traitors for the Japanese. Jiang Zemin once met with Japanese agents Ding Mocun and Li Shiqun, and took a photo with them. Ding was the head of Japanese spies under Doihara Kenji, who later was prosecuted for his war crimes in China. Japanese surrendered in 1945, and Jiang Zemin was wanted as a traitor by the Chinese national government. Jiang hid away until the government called the search off, and resumed his studies at the Central University, which was later renamed Nanjing University. When Jiang Zemin became ...

Truth of Jiang Zemin: Part VI
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Jiang Zemin's death or illness has led to a dispute in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regarding Jiang's life. Jiang's notorious deeds have attracted wide attention. NTD is making a series of reports on Jiang's life. Today's topic is Jiang's politicking within the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) corrupt army. Due to his role in Tiananmen Massacre in 1989, Jiang Zemin became the CCP's General Secretary. In 1991, the former Soviet Union and the Communist Eastern Bloc disintegrated. Under the protection of CCP leftist veterans Chen Yun and Li Xiannian, Jiang Zemin was advocating the ultra-left line and against reforms. In early 1992, Deng Xiaoping was accompanied by the CCP's then-President Yang Shangkun on his southern tour. Deng specifically mentioned Jiang's name and said "the one who does not reform will step down. " Meanwhile, Jiang ordered the Central Propaganda Department to unify their statements regarding Deng's southern tour. Subsequently, on an expanded meeting of the Politburo, when conveying Deng's speeches made on his southern tour, Jiang deleted a large amount of contents. On National People's Congress held in March 1992, the CCP's military General Political Department Director Yang Baibing shouted: "To defend the reform and opening up." Shenzhen Special Zone Daily was the first to disclose Deng's southern tour speeches. Jiang was under a lot of pressure from many CCP veterans, including ...

China Focus - Jiang Zemin's Mysterious Reappearance
China Focus has moved to a new channel, Be sure to subscribe to www.youtube.com Retired former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin has mysteriously re-appeared. He showed up in a photo in state-run media on October 19—ten days after it was taken during his meeting with the head of a small-time university in Shanghai. Now netizens and China analysts alike are talking about what it means that Jiang's photo was published in state-run media, and why it was published now. Jiang officially stepped down from his position as ruler of the Communist Party in 2002. But he still has a lot of influence behind the scenes. Until recently though, the 86 year old was in such poor health that many thought he was on the verge of death. But is his reappearance just because of the upcoming power transition? Or is there more at stake?

Jiang Zemin and Zhou Yongkang's Crimes In Confession Letter
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Recently, the head of a municipal Political and Legal Committee sent a letter of confession to the Epoch Times. He wrote "he dropped on his knees" begging the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners for forgiveness from his crimes. Analysts said this suggests Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong can barely continue inside the Political and Legal system. Many Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials chose to reveal the truth to attain self-preservation. Some said the current situation symbolizes nationwide anti- persecution attitude in China. Let's review the story in detail. In mainland China, there are two princeling siblings who were subject to severe persecution due to practicing Falun Gong. The elder brother was illegally interrogated for 15 consecutive days and lost consciousness many times during that time. Despite this, he was still sent to the forced labor camp later. Recently, the siblings demanded an apology and enormous compensation from high-level officials. The local 610 office and public security bureau were named, as well as the secretary of municipal Political and Legal Committee. They claimed they would post the evidences of those officials' corrupt practices online sending those materials to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection through special avenues if they received no response. According to some source, this event shocked the CCP leaders in Zhongnanhai. The politburo ...

Truth About Jiang Zemin: Part II
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com After the rumors about Jiang Zemin's death came out, how to judge Jiang has become a highly controversial topic and a headache to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It has even led to political conflicts. Jiang's misdeeds and crimes have attracted worldwide attention. Today we will take a look at Jiang's selling of China's lands. December 9 and 10, 1999, are dates of disgrace to China. While the then-CCP General Secretary Jiang Zemin had just launched the persecution of Falun Gong, he signed a "Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation on the East and West boundary of China and Russia," with visiting Russian President Yeltsin. The treaty handed over more than 1.5 million square km of northern China to Russia. The land Jiang Zemin gave to Russia is as large as the total of the three Northeast provinces, or more than 40 Taiwans. Jiang also gave to Russia the estuary of Tumenjiang, which is the gateway from Northeast China to Japan Sea, hence blocking future development opportunities for China. Former USSR leader Lenin issued 3 statements in the past to return the Chinese lands to the government of China. Jiang Zemin's new treaty completely denied Nerchinsk Treaty, which was achieved through wars with Russia led by Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Jiang accepted unequal treaties, such as The Treaty of Aigun and The Treaty of Beijing, both were not acknowledged by the ...

Jiang Zemin's Ranking Falls in State Media Coverage
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Former Chinese Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin's name was listed behind Standing Committee in the farewell ceremony of his opponent Yang Baibing. The State media reported that Jiang requested to be listed along with other senior comrades after the 18th National Congress. How Jiang and President Hu Jintao should be arranged in the name list after Hu leaves his office in March is a challenge to the new General Secretary Xi Jinping. It is commented that this humiliates Jiang and signals Jiang is losing ground. Yang Baibing was Secretary-General of the Central Military Commission during the June 4 incident. The Communist regime held a farewell ceremony on the 21st upon his death on the 15th. In the regime mouthpiece Xinhua News report, the name list to present the wreath will be in the order of incumbent President Hu Jintao, General Secretary Xi Jinping, and others. Jiang Zemin was listed behind the 7 Standing Committee. This order immediately raised eyebrow to those who are sensitive to regime politics. On the 22nd, the Communist Party mouthpiece Xinhua reported that Jiang requested, after the 18th National Congress, to be listed among other seniors during national ceremony. During the farewell ceremony Jiang's order seemed to confirm this report. However, a month ago, during the ceremony for Ding Guangxun, the late vice chairman of the National Committee of the Political Consultative Conference ...

Jiang Zemin's Reappearance Raises Eyebrows
For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me The escalating infighting in the Chinese Communist Party has so far claimed a rising political star, and threatens to bring down its security czar. Now the regime's former leader Jiang Zemin may be caught up in the turmoil. Last Friday, Bloomberg reported Chinese regime former leader Jiang Zemin met with Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz when he visited China on April 17th. It's one of the few times Jiang has surfaced in media reports since the Communist Party's political turmoil began in February. Jiang again appeared in the news on Saturday, with US based Boxun.com reporting that he met with high ranking military officials. Jiang reportedly told them, quote, "I'm still the leader of the Central Military Committee." The details are scant on both the reports, with pictures of Jiang notably missing. Chinese web author Wu Jianguo says this draws suspicion, and is at odds with Jiang's style. [Wu Jianguo, Chinese Web Author]: "I really doubt the credibility of this. All these reports online are texts with no pictures. They only reported he met so and so, and the military. In the past, Jiang would try and make a personal appearance. Many China watchers regarded Jiang Zemin as the leader of the faction that includes Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang. They're sometimes referred to as the "blood debt faction" because of their involvement in the persecution of the Falun Gong ...

Ex-Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin Changes Position in Political Lineup
It seemed like it was business as usual. An official document offering words of condolences to recently deceased general Yang Baibing. Monday's messages came from current and former Communist Party leaders. And, in a stunning change, Jiang Zemin's name appeared dead last. The man is used to appearing second only to his successor and political opponent, retiring leader Hu Jintao. [Wu Jianguo, Online Blogger]: "For example, in the Communist Party's 60-year anniversary ceremony, Jiang was ranked before Politburo members, yet he doesn't have any official position. Jiang was even ranked together with members of the Politburo Standing Committee and his performance showed that he despised Hu Jintao." What does the change of lineup mean for behind-the-scenes Party politics? State-run Xinhua News Agency offered an explanation. It said on Tuesday Jiang asked to be grouped with other retired Party officials when announced and seated at major events. But some think it may be a sign he's being pushed out. [Hua Po, Beijing Political Observer]: "It's trouble now because there are two 'overlords.' It's a problem of who should be higher. It can be judged by the sequence of the Chinese Communist Party's news reports, which reveals the power balance between Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao." Jiang has been criticized for holding onto power long after his official retirement more than a decade ago. Recently, new Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, publically praised his predecessor, Hu Jintao, for giving ...

Jiang Zemin: Why Do Upper-Class Western Intellectuals Have Religious Beliefs?
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Hong Kong's Open magazine reported a story that occurred during US President Bill Clinton's visit in China in 1998. Jiang Zemin asked a question of President Clinton. Jiang, a communist and atheist, could not understand why many upper-class intellectuals in the US and Europe have religious beliefs. Commentators say the communist ideology wickedly sets science against religion, intentionally twisting the Chinese people's normal way of thinking. During the meeting with President Clinton, Jiang Zemin spoke of religious issues. He said, "As the PRChina's President, I am a communist, an atheist. But I have a question that when I visited the US last year I found a lot of American and European people all very well educated but believing in the doctrine of Lamaism. I am puzzled on this. Why? " At a Working Conference on National Religions held in 2001, Jiang Zemin said, "They should be required to love the country, to embrace the socialist system and the communist leadership. The religious activities they've worked on should be subordinate to the highest national interests The religions are never allowed to be used to oppose the leadership of the Party and the socialist system." Xing Tianxing (Critic): "Chinese Communism atheism labels the beliefs in deities are superstitious. It thinks that science is opposite to blind faith. Such an evil ideology, through its political study sessions, has instilled a very ...

Jiang Zemin Writes A Preface Against Xi's 8 Regulations
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Former general secretary Jian Zemin indirectly appeared after the 18th Party congress. Mainland media extensively reported on a preface Jiang wrote for an ancient poetry anthology. The preface directly challenged Xi's eight regulations, saying the leader "can't send congratulatory letters, messages or inscriptions". How will Xi Jinpin respond? —Let's see the report. A book on ancient poetry anthology premiered in Beijing's "The Great Hall of the People" on December 22. A poem and other scripts by Jiang Zemin were recorded in the book, along with a preface written by him. The Chinese Communist Party(CCP)'s mouthpiece media, the People's Network, Xinhua, Zhongxin Network, CCTV and Xinwen Lianbo reported the event on a large scale. Also, politburo member and state councilor, Liu Yandong, presented the premiere and gave a speech. The Minister of the CCP Central propaganda department donated the book to some relevant CCP units. Two days later, Xinhua Network once again reported on Jiang, saying that he had titled the book "Yellow Mum". Also in December, the new general secretary Xi Jinping had proposed eight regulations to "improve the work style" of the CCP's Political Bureau. The regulations forbade individuals from publishing papers, writings, speeches, congratulatory letters and messages, or inscriptions—only those coming from the CCP's Central Committee would be allowed. Why Do Official Media Neglect Jiang Zemin?
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com On May 7th, a photo of Jiang Zemin, Former Chinese Communist Party leader, and the president of coffee group was widely spread, but not issued by the official media. On the 8th, there are reports regarding Jiang, but except the local media which vigorously promoted the news, official media reported with a low profile. A report says that the official media neglect Jiang. In the past, official media always promoted news of Jiang after he retired. Who is operating behind the scenes? What is the purpose? Let us find out more. Yangzhou is the hometown of Jiang Zemin. Local media promoted reports of Yangzhou Taizhou airport being officially unveiled by Jiang. However, People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency and CCTV reported this in low profile. Except semi-official media Zhongxinwang publishing a newsletter with pictures, People's Daily and Xinhua News did not report or reproduce this. Commentator Wen Zhao: "First of all, when was inscription issued? Nobody knows. If Jiang is alive, like former news that he met many key figures in Beijing, if it is really like this, it is impossible that official media did not report his activities at all." Recently, a photo of Jiang and the president of coffee group was spread. The news was published on 20 April without any photo. That photo was released on Twitter on 7 May. In addition, the CCP claims that they are unsure about the meeting. Wen Zhao: "Jiang never did ...

The Trends says Bo confessed to Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping that he paid immense bribes to Jiang Zemin, his family and his cronies. The article says Hu and Xi will, with absolute confidence, expose the full story at a crucial moment to ruin Jiang Zemin. It says it will be similar to how the Soviet Union liquidated Stalin. The article also says Zhou Yongkang, China's top security official, has actually sheltered Bo Xilai after the incidents with Wang Lijun and Bo Xiali. Wang was given a lighter sentence for his "defection", which was a political hint directed at Zhou Yongkang. Zhou will retire after the 18th Party Congress. The article said, Zhou will then "be a chess piece without actual power"in Hu-Xi's wrestling against Jiang's clique.
