Music for the Planet: Raise the Volume, Lower the CO2

Powerful music transcends language and cultural barriers.

Music has the remarkable ability to get people to hear things they may have not been able to hear before. Every movement needs music, and musicians have always responded—from hit protest anthems of the 1960s to passionate individuals using their voice or guitar to gather a circle in their local park or campus.

In the coming months we will be adding more music that is being created for the climate movement.

We welcome you to use music to organize and mobilize. Organize a jam session in a park, book your band for a gig, or go big and put together an all day music festival. Have someone table about 350 at the gig. Reach out and connect with volunteers, organizers and bands in your area that also want to stop the climate crisis. Then listen to the sound of change.
