Include iron rich foods in your child's diet - the best sources of iron are animal foods, such as liver, lean meats and fish or green leafy vegetables, iron-fortified foods. Do not give the child tea along with meals. When your child is one year old and upto 5 years, s/he should receive de-worming medicine every six months.
