Scene from the Woody Allen classic, "Sleeper"
This is a scene from the movie, "Sleeper" where Woody Allen is awoken from cryogenic state some 200 years into the future. He was from the year 1973 and the future instead of being a world of health food has gone in the opposite direction. Woody Allen in this scene is answering questions about objects and video from the 20th century. Howard Cosell on ABC's Wide World of Sports is going over Mohammad Ali and his career and the scientist asks him what it is. Miles Monroe, a jazz musician and owner of the Happy Carrot Health-Food store living in Manhattan in 1973, is cryonically frozen without his consent, and not revived for 200 years. The scientists who revive him are members of an underground movement: 22nd-century America seems to be a police state ruled by a dictator, about to implement a secret plan known as the "Aires Project" (sic). The underground movement hopes to use Miles as a spy to infiltrate the Aires Project, because he is the only member of this society without a known biometric identity. *** Woody Allen (born Allen Stewart Konigsberg on December 1, 1935) is a Jewish American screenwriter, director, actor, comedian, author, and playwright. His films often draw heavily on sexuality, dry comedy, literature, philosophy and of course his Jewish Identity. Being a New Yorker, a lot of his comedy seems to focus on the the mindset of the Jews of European ancestry as he is. Mr. Allen is also fond of playing the clarinet and considers himself a jazz musicians and at ...

Diane Keaton - Celebrity Sighting - idGoBack.com
www.idGoBack.com Diane Keaton is a fabulous actress who continues to turn out great movies. Born 5 January 1946 Birthplace: Los Angeles, California Best known as: Woody Allen's co-star in Annie Hall Name at birth: Diane Hall Diane Keaton became a star in the 1970s, thanks in large part to her personal and professional relationship with Woody Allen. She appeared with him in Play It Again, Sam (1972, reprising her role from the Broadway play), Sleeper (1973), Love and Death (1975) and, most notably, in Annie Hall (1977, for which she won an Oscar). Although more famous for her comic abilities, she held her own in dramas, including the Francis Ford Coppola series of The Godfather movies, starting in 1972. After she split with Allen, Keaton dated Warren Beatty, her co-star in Reds (1981), and appeared in more dramatic roles, including Looking For Mr. Goodbar (1977), The Little Drummer Girl (1984, from the book by John Le Carré), and Mrs. Soffel (1984, with Mel Gibson). In the '80s and '90s Keaton also gained critical respect as a photographer and for directing movies, music videos and television shows (including an episode of David Lynch's Twin Peaks). As an actor, she had continued box office success in comedies, especially with The First Wives Club (1996, with Bette Midler) and Father of the Bride (1991, with Steve Martin). Although she has worked steadily since the 1970s, her Oscar-nominated performance in 2003's Something's Gotta Give (with Jack Nicholson) was hailed by ...
