In this tutorial you are going to learn how to word wrap in excel which will make your Excel spreadsheets easier for people to read.
Step # 1 -- Wrapping Text Automatically
There are two main methods of wrapping text in Excel. First of all you can wrap the text in the cell automatically. Click on the cell with the text that you want to wrap, in this case cell "A1". Make sure that you are in the "Home" tab, then look in the "Alignment" section for the "Wrap Text" option. When you click on this the text will automatically wrap so that it fits the size of the column.
Step # 2 -- Manually Wrapping Text
Alternatively, you might want to wrap text at a point in a line of your choosing. If this is the case click in the cell and select the point in the line where you want the break, then press "Alt" and "Return" at the same time and the latter half of the text will move into a separate line. Press "Return" again to exit the cell and apply the changes. This is how to word wrap in excel.

author: Marlon Torres
The Bridge
The Vision:
Back in October of 2009, I set out to make a film that would push my talents as both a storyteller and a filmmaker. I wanted to create a film that would challenge myself and my audience, meshing both classical and experimental storytelling techniques from music, books, & films that have inspired me in one way or another. I wanted to make a film that didn’t do any spoon-feeding, where my audience would leave with questions as well as answers. It was a long a difficult road to get to this point and there were days where I felt that I was in way over my head but eight months later, I can proudly say I’ve finally completed my film “The Bridge” and it was an experience I would never forget.
The Inspiration:
The story of The Bridge was a story a cousin had told me when I was eight years old. It was a ghost story about two siblings on a bridge. I remember it haunting me for weeks and causing many sleepless nights under my sheets. Obviously, it had a lasting influence in my life. It had always been one of those stories that I wanted to adapt into a short film so when the opportunity finally came one day, I decided to pull to trigger.
When I was in film school, I would constantly fantasize about making some sort of epic period piece, especially one that took place during WW2. So when I decided I was going to make The Bridge, I instantly followed it up with “hell, why not make it into a WW2 movie”? I could have easily made this film as a contemporary piece but where would the fun be in that? I never do things because it’s easy; I do it because it’s hard. I love a challenge. I figured I could keep the same characters, themes, motifs, style, and wrap it around a WW2 setting. So I did.
Pre-production:
So it began. After a quick outline, I started writing the screenplay and, being a one-man crew at the time, I also started doing work on costumes and props. I lived and breathed WW2 24/7. I watched every WW2 movie and documentary I could get my hands on. I even got my hands some real WW2 letters to get a grasp on the era’s language. I felt like a student again and I loved it. I scoured eBay for every WW2 field gear I could afford to buy and the stuff I couldn’t get, I had them custom made cheaply in China. I wanted it to be detailed and authentic as possible while keeping my almost non-existing budget down. I remember coming home one day and having almost a couple dozen eBay packages on front door. It looked like the front door of the post office.
Casting:
The casting of The Bridge was actually one of the smoothest aspects of the entire process. I first went to my good friend Amy and asked her if she would like to help me produce the film. Having worked with each other before, I didn’t really have to ask twice. She was happy to be my first recruit.
For the leading role, I asked my good friend Pablo Soriano to take the part. Having worked with him before, we have a good understanding of each other. He is just a naturally gifted actor and he makes my job as a director so much easier. Plus, his puppy dog eyes make him a perfect protagonist.
For the leading female role, I went looking for a girl who had beautiful, almost hypnotic eyes. That’s when I spotted Leah in one my good friend’s music video. I called up Carlos and basically told him, “I need to have that girl for movie”. A few days later, she was on board.
I owe the discovery of Mike, the character who plays James Connolly, to my producer Amy. She had read the script and recommended him. I remember her telling me “Mike IS James”. Words that any director would love to hear and as usual, Amy was right.
So a couple months later, the script was complete, the costumes and props were ready, and the cast was cast. We were ready to shoot!
Production:
With our extremely limited budget, I knew right from day one that we were going to shoot “The Bridge” on DSLRs, specifically the Canon 7D and 5D Mark II. With this in mind, I knew (as also the DP of the film), I was going to push these cameras to its limits. I wasn’t going to let my equipment limit my vision of the film. I knew at the very beginning that I may or may not have a crappy movie in the end but hell, it’s gonna look damn good! We all know about the camera’s limitations but I wasn’t going to bitch and moan about it, I was going to work around it. I took it as a personal challenge to make these cameras work and I did.
About 75% of the film was shot with the 7D and the rest with the 5DM2. The main reason I shot with the 7D more was the 24p firmware update wasn’t available for the 5DM2 during the bulk of the shooting. I prefer the 5DM2’s full frame sensor the 7D cropped sensor.
Production, like any other shoot, had its ups and downs. Ours was mainly San Francisco’s unpredictable weather. You can blink and the bay area can go from miserable foggy weather (which is what I wanted for the film) to perfect summer beach party weather.

Information on F.A.T.'s Fuck Google Week as follows:
Transmediale 2010 “Futurity now!”
February 2nd – 7th, 2010
Berlin, Germany
Google is the most popular site on the world wide web. Since Larry Page and Sergey Brin opened the Menlo Park doors of their corporate office in 1998, Google has grown to be much more than just the defacto information search utility for the web. Beyond having over 150 domains, dozens of web, browser and desktop apps, a number of the most popular sites on the web (like YouTube), partnerships with multimedia conglomerates and multinational telecoms, one spy satellite and a mysterious network of telecommunication infrastructure, Google has become a new word in the international lexicon. I Googled it. 구글했다. Je l’ai googlelé. Jeg googlede det. ググった。 Eu Googled isso. Ich hab’s gegoogled. मॅँ googled है. Yo googleo.
Google, Ergo Sum.
But, it wasn’t always easy streets for the kindly, corporate giant. Shining a light into the darkness of the early web was not as simple as it looked. It took patience, a “don’t be evil” mantra, football fields of high-end office furniture, and millions and millions of ads. As F.A.T. Lab fellows Randy Sarafan and Geraldine Juárez, wrote in their tell-all, Google, biopic entitled, Lost and Found:
“Webrings just wouldn’t work… Information needed to be freed and shopping needed to be accessible. There could only ever be one pets.com. Exoticpets.com, rarepets.com, rareexoticpets.com, and rareexoticpetfood.com would all be outposts in the wilderness without a road to lead you there. Google’s benevolent hands built that road. And they built millions of other roads. And then they lined these roads with billboards. And with the money they made on these billboards, they built entire cities of industry. And within these cities, they erected more billboards. And pretty soon, Google, the mere builder of roads, owned half of the frontier, which was no longer a frontier, but a megalopolis without borders.”
So, what is so “fuck-worthy” about Mother-google? It is the fact that a corporate entity, even one as beloved and competent as Google, is in control of such a large stake in the digital network and public utility upon which we have all grown so reliant. And, that as a publicly traded company, it doesn’t have to answer to anyone but its largest shareholders, despite the fact that its decisions effect the lives and private information of millions of people. Few even question or raise a voice in opposition to the Google-ification of the Internet.
Don’t get us wrong, we use Google too. We use search, blog search, gmail, YouTube, calendar, docs, analytics, maps, etc. We use them like we do the sidewalk or a public toilets when we have to take a piss: because it feels like there just isn’t any other option. Sure, there are alternatives to Google. But, they mostly suck. And to not use Google means to lose access to an enormous network and some of the most reliable tools on the Internet.
That is why for Transmediale 2010, F.A.T. Lab proposes ‘FuckGoogle’, a collection of browser add-ons, open source software, theoretical musings and direct actions aimed at creating an awareness of the role Google plays in our daily lives. Throughout the duration of Transmediale, F.A.T. members and friends will publish free software, live streams, communiques and video documentation of actions on the fffff.at blog. So, join us and let’s all FuckGoogle together. By the way, does anyone have Sergey’s email or home address?

Furries - An Inside Look
This documentary gives an inside perspective on the strange and interesting subculture known as the furry fandom. Filmed at Midwest Furfest 2010, a major furry convention, the fandom is explained by furries in their own words.
This project was both a personal and an academic undertaking. The concept and production was my own, but I also got college credit for producing it, as an independent study at Bradley University.
--- NOTICE --- Any comments posted plugging your website, art page, etc. or those of your friends will be deleted, no matter how friendly. My documentary is not ad space.
Also, to clear up some confusion, "niteskunk" is a good friend of mine and was the crew member who captured some of the b-roll footage, as well as the audio for the interviews. He is not, however, me.
If you like this video, please tweet it, share it, retweet it, blog it, and so on!
--- IMPORTANT --- In the above context "sharing" does not include using any method to download this video and re-upload it elsewhere. If you wish to share this with your friends, just share the URL. You can even embed the video in your website, blog, etc. Even if your intentions are good, as I know they may be, I ask that you respect this. The video is available for unlimited viewing, for free, right here. Thanks! :)
----------
TECHNICAL DETAILS
This was a very lean production in terms of budget, equipment and crew. All filming was done in existing light. Primary camera was a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Secondary camera was a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. Lenses used were Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, and (on secondary camera) Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
In-camera audio was captured only for sync reference and not used in the final output. Off-camera audio was captured using an Olympus LS-10 linear PCM recorder. Voice-overs were recorded during post production using a Sterling Audio ST55 condenser mic and brought into my PC for editing through a Yamaha MW10 mixer.
Slow motion sequences were shot at 30p, then time stretched using motion vector interpolation, and output at the project frame rate of 24p.
Post production took a little less than a month, though as with so many projects, the majority of the work was concentrated toward the deadline. The production officially wrapped on December 15th, 2010, and I posted it here on Vimeo just four days later.

The Power of A Mother's Love
Mother’s come in all sizes and ages. Some of us had young mothers, some had older mothers. Some of us had petite mom’s some had larger moms. Regardless of the age or size of our Mom’s, I know something all Mom’s have in common. When push comes to shove, when the gates of hell open up, when the world falls apart, there is nothing stronger than a mother’s love for her children. Sorry Dad’s. You don’t come close.
A mother’s love for her children is one of the strongest forces in this world. I believe it is so strong because it is chiseled directly from the heart of God!
What makes God’s Love so powerful, and what makes a mother’s love so powerful, is a special bond!
A Mother bonds with her child through countless hours, countless feedings. This is her baby, her child. God’s love is so powerful because of His relationship to those He loves. God had a special relationship with His people, the Jews. It was a covenant relationship. It made the Jews special, beloved to Him. His love for them was different than His love for the gentiles because of that Covenant Relationship. Through Jesus Christ, we have a New Covenant Relationship with God. We are born again and become children of God. We enter into a new and special relationship with God. He has a special Love for His children. Just as a Mother has a special love for her own children, so does God have a special love with His children.
THE POWER OF LOVE IS BECAUSE OF THE RELATIONSHIP!
Just like you don’t pull on superman’s cape, your don’t spit into the wind, you don’t pull the mask off the old lone ranger and you don’t mess around with a Mom and her children.
Fremont, CA (KPIX) - A Fremont, California woman is recovering from severe injuries to her arms after a pit bull terrier attacked her in her own garage, forcing her to stash her baby in a garbage can for protection.
Thirty-two-year-old Angela Silva received 50 staples and countless stitches as a result of Tuesday's attack.
Silva says her neighbor's dog wandered into her open garage and lunged at her and her four-month-old son.
After she put the child in a plastic garbage bin, the 80-pound pit bull terrier, "Swisher", continued pursuing the baby and knocked over the bin as Silva fought the animal off with her arms. Two men across the street eventually came to her aid and chased away the dog.
"My flesh was flying off of my arms," she says. "I just don't think that I would have been able to stand up any longer."
Mighty Pharaoh tried to kill the Jewish babies.
The Jewish Mom’s were so tough they were having the babies one day and out working in the field the next, their babies hidden away. One Mom was bold enough to make a basket of reeds and then waterproof it, and then put her baby Moses in it to float downstream. Mom’s do amazing things because of their love for their children.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB) Thus says the Lord, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the Lord.
This morning we need to understand Three things that God Delights in, and once we understand these, we can better understand the power of a Mother’s Love. But first, let me ask you a couple of questions that this verse brings up…
1. What Do You Boast About?
let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me
You may be smart, you may have wealth, but God says that doesn’t matter. If you are going to boast in anything, boast in knowing and understanding God. That requires growing relationship with Him. That requires an intimacy with God such that any time you pick up His Word you are immediately overwhelmed with a flash from God!
Like the TV series Chuck, who has the Intersect in his brain. Whenever he sees someone or something that is in the Super Spy data base, he flashes on it and all this information comes to his mind. He always gets overwhelmed for just a bit when he “flashes” on the information.
Do you have that kind of relationship with God? Do you boast to your friends that you have such a special relationship?
I know that our world has become so infected with sin that homes and families are fractured and tormented. Not everyone has a wonderful mom who loved them and nurtured them. Our Mom’s may be flawed in several ways, but there is always something you can boast in about your mom. It may be her cooking, her crafts, her drive, her protection, her prayers, her drive. Dig deep and find something to boast in about your Mom. Boast about her to your children, and even your grandchildren. Honor her. She gave you life.
We honor God because He gave us life. If we are to boast, boast in God, in that you know Him and understand Him.
2. What Are God
