USS Alabama (BB-60) Battleship
USS Alabama (BB-60), a South Dakota-class battleship, was the sixth completed ship named Alabama of the United States Navy, however she was only the third commissioned ship with that name. Alabama was commissioned in 1942 and served in World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. She was decommissioned in 1947 and assigned to the reserve duty. She retired in 1962. In 1964, Alabama was taken to Mobile Bay and opened as a museum ship the following year. The ship was added to the National Historic Landmark registry in 1986.

Vasa Museum - Borton Overseas
www.vmanetconcepts.com During a trip to Sweden, Barry passed through Stockholm and visited an incredible museum that contains a 334 year old warship that has spent most of it's 300+ years under water. The Vasa was Sweden's ship of state, a royal navy warship built at the command of the King of Sweden at the time. The Vasa was to be the most powerful sailing vessel ever, but on it's maiden voyage and only about 20 minutes after it departed the dock, a sleight breeze filled the sails and the Vasa capsized and sank to the bottom of the Stockholm harbor. Finally in 1961 the ancient ship was raised from the bottom of the harbor and over the past 50 years, it has slowly been restored and preserved to become the centerpiece of a wonderful museum in Stockholm.

Battleship Texas BB-35 (1)
The Battleship Texas, commissioned in 1914, is the only surviving battleship to have served in both world warsand is the last surviving Dreadnought. The TEXAS served as flagship for the D-Day invasion of Normandy and earned seven ribbons for her service during World War II. USS Texas (BB-35), the second ship of the United States Navy named in honor of the US state of Texas, is a New York-class battleship. The ship was launched on 18 May 1912 and commissioned on 12 March 1914. Soon after her commissioning, Texas saw action in Mexican waters following the "Tampico Incident" and escorted Allied convoys across the Atlantic Ocean during World War I. When the United States formally entered World War II in 1941, Texas resumed her role of escorting war convoys across the Atlantic, and she later shelled Axis-held beaches for the North African campaign and the Normandy Landings before being transferred to the Pacific Theater late in 1944 to provide naval gunfire support during the Battle of Iwo Jima and Battle of Okinawa. Texas was decommissioned in 1948, having earned a total of five battle stars for service in World War II, and is presently a museum ship near Houston, Texas. Among the world's remaining battleships, Texas is notable for being the oldest remaining dreadnought battleship. She is also noteworthy for being one of only six remaining ships to have served in both World War I and World War II, Among US-built battleships, Texas is notable for her sizable number of firsts ...

Ray: A Life Underwater
A rogue with an eye for salvage - and the ladies - Ray: A Life Underwater is an affectionate portrait of one man's deep sea diving career, told through his extraordinary collection of marine artefacts.
Like a modern-day pirate, 75-year-old Ray Ives has been scouring the seabed for treasure his whole life.
The former commercial diver has plundered the deep for over fifty years, bringing to the surface anything that glittered -- even gold.
In a shipping container near the water, Ray tends his museum of cannon, bottles, bells, swords, portholes and diving gear.
He even still takes to the water in a 1900s diving suit.
Ray can be found most days at his museum at Yacht Haven Quay, Plymouth.

This Scene expresses- FEAR- noun: an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). noun: a feeling of anxiety and agitation caused by the presence or nearness of danger, evil, pain, etc.; timidity; dread; terror; fright; apprehension. Terrify not your soul with vain imaginary fears. By realizing that you are the one feeding the fire, you can start to take control of your fears. Panic is a vicious cycle that can be broken. When you start to have irrational fears you need to take action quick. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing, which you think you cannot do." We must stop running away from things that frighten us, face our fears head on, and do the thing we fear the most. Most of the time we'll find out that the "thing" was not that scary after all. Our imaginations had behaved like a super fertilizer and grown a grotesque monstrosity in our minds. Remember, our imaginations are incredibly powerful. They can work against us, creating horrible images that leave us paralyzed with fear and they can also work for us, building a world where everything we do is an adventure, a miracle. And the most amazing thing is that we hold the power to control our minds - we allow fear to dominate our lives or we choose to dominate fear. Those are our only two choices.

USS Intrepid, New York City, May/June 2011
The museum ship USS Intrepid in the New York City harbor is one of four of the original 24 Essex class carriers build during WWII that have survived until today. When staying in New York City it is an obvious choice to visit it, also because it is near the Hudson river and the Circle line. It has a good selection of airplanes on the main deck (recently a space shuttle has been added to the collection), but the hangar deck has also very good displays showing what the ship was like during the WWII days. All around the ship the old veterans can be seen giving the visit an extra dimension. The ship has apart from WWII also served in the Vietnam war and has been rebuild somewhat compared to its original design. It has been a museum ship since 1982. In the years 2006-2008 it was renovated, and I can confirm that they have done a good job. It was definitely worth a visit or more. The video contain stills from May 28 and May 30 (Memorial Day) and stills and HD video from June 2, 2011. You should check out USS Intrepid on their webpage: www.intrepidmuseum.org

Empire: Total War - HMS Victory vs. USS Constitution
This is naval battle of HMS Victory (ETW Special Forces Edition) and USS Constitution (Bonus content). Her Majesty's Ship Victory is a first rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, started in 1759 and launched in 1765, most famous as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. She is the oldest naval ship still in commission, and now sits in dry dock in Portsmouth, England as a museum ship. United States Ship Constitution is a three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy. Named after the Constitution of the United States of America by President George Washington, she is the oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat in the world. Launched in 1797. Constitution is most famous for her actions during the War of 1812 against Great Britain, when she captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five British warships: HMS Guerriere, Java, Pictou, Cyane and Levant. The battle with Guerriere earned her the nickname of "Old Ironsides" and public adoration that has repeatedly saved her from scrapping.
