Swing! Wonderful Town 1958 Telecast
Rosalind Russell in her prime as Ruth Sherwood, the role she originated in the original cast of Wonderful Town in 1953. Here she performs the number "Swing!" which features her yet to be matched "Floy Doy" scat. This to me is the highlight of the show! Enjoy! This is a quick video I made that is dedicated to the long-lasting marriage of Rosalind Russell and her husband Freddie Brisson. I had fun with the animations because it was a new program, so bear with me :) Song: Can't Help Falling in Love by Michael Bublé

TROUBLE - "The Women" (1939)
On this side of the ring we have one Mrs. Sylvia Prowl--uh, Fowler. Scandalmonger Extraordinare. And on the other side? Everyone else. This film is absolute genius. ♥ "There's a name for you ladies, but it isn't used in high society... outside of a kennel." Critique it, please! Rosalind Russell in 'Gypsy' -- Finale
This is one of my favorite scenes of all time -- The final scene in 'Gypsy' between Rose and Louise. And even though the 1962 film wasn't fantastic and Rosalind's singing (and Lisa's dubbing) left much to be desired, I think Ros was the most believable, human-seeming Rose. That's Natalie Wood as Louise, aka Gypsy Rose Lee. ______ No copyright infrigement intended, this is for entertainment purposes only. If you would like this video removed, please ask.

scenes from the film 'Gypsy' starring Natalie Wood.. "Gypsy" is a 1962 American musical film produced and directed by Mervyn LeRoy. The screenplay by Leonard Spigelgass is based on the book of the 1959 stage musical "Gypsy': A Musical Fable by Arthur Laurents, which was adapted from "Gypsy": A Memoir by Gypsy Rose Lee.
