Aladdin // A Whole New World Contest // [SLAVIC vs GERMANIC] Languages // [CLOSED]
WATCH IN HD! I think the video says eveything: in each round you pick your favorite Jasmine. Remember these two language groups are facing for 1st and 2nd place. NOTE 1: The face-off between the languages were choosen randomly. NOTE 2: I included Finnish in the Germanic languages and Hungarian in the Slavic group because these languages aren't neither a Germanic, Romanic, Asian or Slavic languages so.....I had to put them somewhere! ^^ NOTE 3: Each vote of each round count as a vote, which means, if you choose, for exemple, Slovak in Round 1 than it's one vote for the Slavic family and so on for the other rounds. NOTE 4: Germanic family only has 8 versions while the Slavic family has 9 versions which means I had to leave out one of the Slavic versions. To be fair I left out the version that had less votes in the 1st face-off, which was the Czech version. Sorry but it had to be. I'll wait until I have enough votes to determinate the winner. My votes: Round 1 - Danish Round 2 - Russian Round 3 - Dutch Round 4 - German Round 5 - Norwegian Round 6 - Ukranian Round 7 - Swedish (but I love Croatian too!) Round 8 - English Feel free to comment, like and subscribe. I don't own anything. Aladdin belongs to Disney.

The lines "Trust me" and "Yes" sound very similar in Russian, Croatian, Serbian and Bulgarian... Serbian: -Da li mi verujesh? -Da Croatian: -Jel Mi Vjerish? -Da Russian: -Ti Mnje Vjerish? -Da (Ты мне веришь? -Да) Bulgarian: - Doveri mi se; -Da (Довери ми се; - Да) (The translation in bulgarian is a little different . It means "Trust me", not "Do you trust me?")

I further sorted them by language families. In Part 1 there are: Germanic languages Romance languages Slavic languages Finno-Ugric languages Semitic languages Some verses I used for my other video "Love Song in various languages" have been re-recorded with corrected words and/or improved pronounciation. Russian World Lesson 5
Russian is a Slavic language used primarily in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It is an unofficial but widely spoken language in Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia and, to a lesser extent, the other countries that were once constituent republics of the USSR.[4] It is the most geographically widespread language of Eurasia, the most widely spoken of the Slavic languages, and the largest native language in Europe. Russian belongs to the family of Indo-European languages and is one of three living members of the East Slavic languages. Written examples of Old East Slavonic are attested from the 10th century onwards. The language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.

slovianski, slavianski, slovienski, slovjanski, slovioski, slovjenski - are just a few names of copy-cat cloned conlangs (constructed languages) created along the Slovio-formula. Slovio, created in 1999 was the first viable and complete inter-slavic language created in the thousand years since the demise of the old church slavonic. Slovio is very simple and can be learned in a few weeks. SLOVIANSKI - slovianski - Slovianski www.slovio.com
