Eduardo Najera-Hillman
completed his PhD research at the Earth and Oceanic Sciences Research Institute, at Auckland University of Technology. His research interest was on the ecology of the Hochstetter's frog (Leiopelma hochstetteri) in the Waitakere Ranges.  He  conducted two parallel investigations: an analysis of the trophic relations with natural abundance measurements of stable isotopes, and a study about the frog's habitat preferences and distribution through the comparison of probabilities of encounter and habitat characteristics in areas of bush at different regenerative stage.  He is currently working for a study abroad program in the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. His new email is enajera@fieldstudies.org
