Caddo Native American Indians performing social dance
Caddo Native American Indians performing a social dance. The Caddos are a Southern tribe and the women of this tribe wear a distinct tribal hair ornament which hopefully you can see in this video. The dance looks very fun, but very strenuous. So if you do this dance, you better be in good shape...aaay.

Ok, Caddo. You just don't work.
I went to the GED center in Shreveport (VoTech) and they told me that if I miss my testing date without a recorded reason (something with a doc's note, or paper to show them) my testing is canceled, and I'll have to pay $90, again. In Bossier, you can give your money and tell them when you'll be ready, and they'll hold it for you. See what I mean, now? Shreveport/ Caddo is full of outdated con artists. When you deal with them you're locked in or you have to start all over. They'll take whatever you put into it, a long with that. I hate these shitty people! It's ADULT education, and you're still treating people like children! When I went to class there they made me do reading and lang a long with math. All I needed was math, but they were more interested in wasting my time, than working on what I actually needed. At the Bossier center, they don't make you stay the whole time, but you have to stay at least an hour. In Caddo you have to stay the whole time, and work on their regament. ADULTS have other things to do, and some people are more understanding of that. Some idiots tapped at the glass as I passed by and they thought it was me, and I was practically jumped by some idiot teacher or whatever the fuck he was. Some dark brown guy with glasses, wearing a shirt that said "security" on the back. I didn't bother to read what he was security for on the front. I think he was sicked on me by the uppity white male teacher, that I later heard speaking very discouraging language ...

LaNana Creek Part 2
THE LANANA CREEK TRAIL The LaNana Creek Trail began as a project of Nacogdoches Texas Sesquicentennial in 1966. The purpose was to construct a 2-1/2 mile hiking-biking path extending from Main Street north to East Austin Street. The Sesquicentennial Committee's plan was to preserve, beautify, and utilize the flood banks of LaNana Creek for the people of Nacogdoches, and to leave the LaNana Creek Trail as a lasting remembrance of Texas 150th birthday. The trail was once a pathway for Nacogdoches Indians, a tribe of the Caddo Confederacy who Who lived on the high ground between LaNana and Banita creeks. "Nacogdoches" means "The place that is high" in the Caddo language. Spanish colonials walked the trail along the creek and built their town of Nacogdoches between the two creeks. The trail is now in the most historic area of old Nacogdoches. Near the beginning of The Trail is Camino Real Park are the homes of Haden Edwards and Adolphus Sterne, the New Orleans Greys' campground, Oak Grove Cemetery, Zion Hill Cemetery, and the Holy Springs of Father Margil. The LaNana Creek Trail runs north from Camino Real through Margil Park and the Eyes of Father Margil. The trail follows LaNana Creek through Pecan Acres Park to the Stephen F. Austin State University campus. The SFA Mast Arboretum and Tucker Woods are on university land. The trail ends in the north at Jimmy Hinds Park on East Austin Street. LaNana Creek Trail was cleared and constructed by volunteers under committee ...

Sandy Davis - Dir.-Homeland Security/Bossier-Caddo Parish - "11 Bean Soup" - April 2011, Baton Rouge
The Unique, Festive Monologue Event About the 2nd Universal Language - FOOD and How Our Lives Revolve Around the Satisfaction of It! These monologues include stories about food - relationships around food, experiences in our lives that revolve around food, including love affairs, break-ups, careers....the highs and lows of our lives. The common thread is FOOD -- an important part of our lives, our culture, and our personal stories. The event is a little bit of theatre, a lot about cuisine and a true celebration of how food is an important part of our lives. The event begins with a fun dinner party where we eat, drink and mingle followed by the show where Chefs, Restaurant and Food Business Owners, TV Anchors, Musicians, Writers, Actors, Comedians and Foodies are invited to share their 5-7 minutes stories. In 2010, the show was produced 21 times in 6 months with over 125 food stories from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Los Angeles and Santa Monica! Coming to your city soon!
