Charing Cross Gender Identity Clinic
This is the kind of aggressive and patronising kind of interrogation transsexual people had to endure at Charing Cross Gender Identiity Clinic in the past.
This kind of confrontational attitude shown in this video was endemic during the 1980s -and also during the 1990s and early 2000s if the testimonies in this thread are anything to go by ...

No apologies were ever given on behalf of the clinic to the trans community for the rather aggressive, abusive and confrontational ways trans people were treated at the clinic in the past, which undoubtedly led to the mental breakdowns of several patients, and quite possibly some suicides.
Things might have improved at the clinic for current patients, but perhaps now is the time for an apology for the ways patients were treated in the past.

Charing Cross Hospital Strike-1979
This is another in a series of clips that I wish to post about the industrial action that gripped Britain in the late seventies. In this instance the clip looks at the strike being undertaken by staff at Charing Cross Hospital in Fulham. This action was overshadowed by that of the more infamous strike at Westminster which was led by the ex-Tory turned militant: Jamie Morris. However, both actions can be seen as being related.
In brief, NUPE (National Union of Public Employees) wanted a minimum weekly wage of £60 for its members. This represented an increase on their salaries of up to 20% which the government regarded way above the 5% it had recommended in its guidelines.
About half of hospitals were affected (although not always at the same time). Morris managed to alienate even those sections of the media that would normally be considered left wing. The Guardian condemned Morris for 'his willingness to put patients at risk' whilst right wing papers such as The Standard noted that 'What is left of the moral capital the miners drew on in 1972 and 1974 has been squandered by the likes of Jamie Morris. Finally, Mrs Thatcher appeared on a Radio 2 show and stated that "Some of the unions are confronting the sick. If someone is inflicting injury, harm and damage on the sick, my God, I will confront them."
It seems the stage between the right and the militant left had been set.

UFO spotted over Charing Cross Hospital London
http://www.transgenderzone.com Taken on a mobile whilst filming CX hospital, strange thing is nobody looks up that high in tight streets. It made a whining sound that just about can be heard over the traffic noise.
It maybe a frisbee or something remote controlled from neighbouring street and not above the hospital at all but i was not looking up when i filmed the building as I was holding my phone out in front of me and the screen is very small I certainly didn't notice anything like that near me - I only noticed it when i played it back on my PC a few weeks later and have used a digital zoom on the in phone editor to show it better. Its very quick and goes as fast as it arrives.

CytoCare Chemotherapy Compounding Robot
CytoCare is the only chemotherapy compounding robot in an ISO class 5 environment with multiple safety and verification systems. Health Robotics created CytoCare to provide healthcare facilities with automated solutions that ease a pharmacy's growing pressures by improving patient safety, regulatory compliance, reducing life-threatening medication errors and contamination risks, working more efficiently, increasing throughput, and containing spiraling chemotherapy expenses. This video was taken at Charing Cross Hospital in London. University of Colorado Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center are the first health care providers in North America to use CytoCare technology.
