Plot
Set against the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s, the film is based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth), and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Austrian driver Niki Lauda (Bruhl). The story follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become world champion in a sport with no margin for error: if you make a mistake, you die.

Suzy Miller: [talking about the safety of a 1970's F1 car] Why don't they make it safer?::James Hunt: The risk of death turns people on.
James Hunt: The closer you are to death, the more alive you feel. It's a wonderful way to live. It's the only way to drive.
James Hunt: I feel responsible for what happened.::Niki Lauda: You are... but trust me: watching you win those races, while I was fighting for my life, you were equally responsible for getting me back in the car.
James Hunt: That wind you can feel is me breathing down your neck. Next time, I'll have you.
Niki Lauda: Happiness is the enemy.
Niki Lauda: A wise man can learn more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.
Niki Lauda: Happiness is your biggest enemy. It weakens you. Puts doubts in your mind. Suddenly you have something to lose.

A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with a liking and enthusiasm for something, such as a band, a sports team or entertainer. Fans of a particular thing or person constitute its fanbase or fandom. They may show their enthusiasm by being a member of a fan club, holding fan conventions, creating fanzines, writing fan mail, or by promoting the object of their interest and attention.
The Dickson Baseball Dictionary, cites William Henry Nugent's work asserting that it was derived from the fancy, a collective term from England used to describe the fans of a specific hobby or sport from the early 18th Century to the 19th, especially to the followers of boxing. According to that theory, it was originally shortened to fance then just to the homonym fans. Merriam-Webster, the Oxford dictionary and other sources define it as a shortened version of the word fanatic. The word first become popular in reference to baseball enthusiasts. (Fanatic itself, introduced into English around 1550, means "marked by excessive enthusiasm and often intense uncritical devotion". It comes from the Modern Latin fanaticus, meaning "insanely but divinely inspired". The word originally pertained to a temple or sacred place [Latin fanum, poetic English fane]. The modern sense of "extremely zealous" dates from around 1647; the use of fanatic as a noun dates from 1650.) However, the term "fancy" for an intense liking of something, while being of a different etymology, coincidentally carries a less intense but somewhat similar connotation to "fanatic". The word emerged as an Americanism around 1889.
Francisco Guillermo Ochoa Magaña (born 13 July 1985) is a Mexican goalkeeper who currently plays for French Ligue 1 club Ajaccio. He also plays for the Mexican national football team.
Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Ochoa made his debut with Club América during the 2004 Clausura tournament against C.F. Monterrey. Ochoa quickly demonstrated his skill and talent in goal, and the young goalkeeper was thrust into the spotlight to replace injured veteran Adolfo Ríos. He would then share the starting job with Rios after he recovered from his aforementioned injury.
When the 2004 Apertura season began, Ochoa was thought to be the heir apparent to Ríos, who had retired. However, new coach Oscar Ruggeri brought new goalkeepers with him, among them Argentine Sebastián Saja. Ruggeri's stay at the club was marred by controversy and unpopular decisions. He was fired after only six games into the season and Ochoa was soon reinstated by new coach Mario Carrillo. Since then, he has started every game for Club América barring incidents involving injuries or national team duty. Under Carrillo, Ochoa won his first championship with América following the 2005 Clausura season.
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro,OIH, (born 5 February 1985), commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a winger or striker for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and is the captain of the Portuguese national team. Ronaldo became the most expensive footballer in history after moving from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a transfer worth £80 million (€93.9 million/$131.6 million). In addition, his contract with Real Madrid, in which he is paid €12 million per year, makes him one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, and his buyout clause is valued at €1 billion as per his contract.
Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Andorinha, where he played for two years, before moving to C.D. Nacional. In 1997, he made a move to Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal. Ronaldo's precocious talent caught the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, who signed him for £12.24 million (€15 million) in 2003. The following season, Ronaldo won his first club honour, the FA Cup. He also played at Euro 2004 with Portugal and scored his first international goal in the opening game of the tournament against Greece, in addition to helping Portugal reach the final. He was featured in the UEFA Euro All-Star Team of this competition.

Fever was born on 27 August 1981 in Holon, Israel, to an Chilean father and a Mexican mother. He lived there until he was two years old, then moved to Mexico City, where he began his career, writing for the magazine Tiro de Esquina in 1995. In 1998 he began working with TV Azteca[1] due to an invitation from David Faitelson.
In 2000, he finished his position in the statistics department and began to work as a commentator and reporter for soccer matches at the Mexican league, reporting directly from Spain in 2004 and 2005 during the performance of Mexican soccer players such as Rafael Márquez and Maribel Domínguez. In 2007, his position in TV Azteca was changed as he joined their creative department, creating two of the most famous sections of the popular TV show "Los Protagonistas": "La Contracrónica" and "Valedores de Iztacalco". His professional relationship with TV Azteca ended in 2009 after an issue with the Sports department (where the entire department was laid off).,[2] Fever started working for the multinational sports chain ESPN [3] and entered on the List of ESPN Latin America announcers in 2010.
La Contracrónica is described as quantifying the performance of a specific player during a sporting event[citation needed]. It began as a piece (run by Fever) in the program in 2007 using the Mexican soccer player Cuauhtémoc Blanco as a subject.
This piece has been a source of controversy given investigations have started based on the footage used; for example, when La Contracrónica of the FMF president Justino Compeán was made, he was discovered cheering for a particular soccer team in a match from the Mexican first division.[4] Legal investigations took off after this particular demonstration of impartiality was revealed on TV.
