Police are investigating two possibilities. The cricket bat was used by Steenkamp to defend herself or Pistorius used it to break down the bathroom door where Steenkamp was hiding.

Twin Bomb Blast OR Serial Blast @ Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad -2013-02-21 OR 2013 February 21 Hyderabad serial blasts: at least 15 dead, 50 injured Hyderabad: At least 15 people have been killed and 50 injured in three blasts in a busy commercial area of Hyderabad this evening. (See first pictures) Sources in the Home Ministry say the explosions in Dilsukhngar, which began just after 7 pm, appear to be a well-planned terror attack designed to cause maximum damage. The explosions took place at rush hour near the popular Konark cinema, an elevated bridge used by pedestrians, and a bus stand in Dilsukhnagar, which has a large fruit and vegetable market. Officials were finding it tough to clear the packed area which has a maze of narrow lanes. Cellphone networks have been jammed in and around Dilsukhnagar to prevent false information from being disseminated. In 2007, twin blasts in the city killed 40 people.

www.euronews.com The sacking of Bulgaria's finance minister Simeon Djankov has done little to quell public anger over the cost of electricity. Further demonstrations took place yesterday following a weekend of protests across 20 cities, described as the largest spontaneous rallies since the fall of communism. With elections due this summer, support for the centre-right government has fallen dramatically. Analyst Haralan Alexandrov thinks Prime Minister Boiko Borisov, who's seeking a second term, is clearly worried about surging public fury. "The protests have shown that people are no longer frightened of the overwhelming power of the state. So they take to the streets if they are unhappy and - let's face it - there's not much to be happy about at the moment. Meanwhile the government doesn't have much room for manoeuvre to win back their support," said Alexandrov. With average salaries stuck at about 400 euros a month, many Bulgarians think the electricity bills they received last month were the last straw. Compared to last year, average bills rose between 50 to 100 percent. Find us on: Youtube bit.ly Facebook www.facebook.com Twitter twitter.com
